I wanted to write a review for the In4mation McCully location since it will be closing their doors very soon. I have previously purchased some of the snapback hats in my collection from this very location. When the two other locations sold out of the Woes x In4mation collaboration hat, I was told to come here and I was able to cop it without any trouble. Yesterday was the start of a 3-day sale of all of the store’s inventory. I was told that they will be opening up a new location sometime in either late October or early November. I can’t wait! I was greeted by Bobby who was super chill and sweet. Another customer had come in with his 3-year-old daughter and Bobby greeted them and serviced them with a huge smile. Everything in the store is on sale for $ 10 until the end of tomorrow. I saw lots of Stance socks, HUF socks, some In4mation bucket/snapback hats and some of their branded t-shirts. I didn’t see anything that I was personally interested in purchasing today, but Bobby talked about all the cool things planned that are currently in the works. We talked about Kidrobot Dunnys and Woes’ aka Aaron Martin’s works. I can’t wait to check out their new store knowing that customer service and the products put forth will be top-notch. \m/

Went to in4mation to get some t shirts today. I was completely ignored by the sales guy there! He was too busy on his computer trying to find the right song to play in the store! Your store’s costumer service sucks! You might as well be an online shop! I hate going shopping in a place where I’m uncomfortable… Even if the product is cool! If your store isn’t bringing in money, the guy working there is the reason why!!! Too bad, so sad!!!

I have been a big fan of in4mation since they started quite a few years back. It’s pretty cool they have spread out and now have three stores open(here, Chinatown and Pearlridge). I actually made it to all three locations this trip, with McCully being the last. At each location they sell their own brand as well as others like Aloha Army. They sell a good variety of shirts and hats, as well as a small selection of skate decks and accessories. As each location has a little different amount of stock, naturally different items will be on their sale rack at any given time. This trip, McCully had the least amount of shirts on sale, Chinatown the most. What I found odd was the pricing structure. House brand T shirts go for about $ 28 here full price. Sale items seemed to be different prices at different stores, even though it was the exact same shirt. One store(Chinatown) had them for $ 10, and McCully had it for half off, which would be $ 14. I find that kind of odd, but whatever. It won’t make me not shop here, just thought I would point it out. Perhaps someone can ask them about it if they read this before going. Staff is always cool here and always greet everyone who walks in as well as offers help. Zero complaints. Every time I visit Honolulu, I look forward to hitting up In4mation to see what new designs are in.

Local clothing and skate shop located on S King St, across from Mavros. No need to fret about parking, I discovered that there’s quite a few street stalls available across the street along the pet hospital. Love the urban and modern feel of the store. Simple and eye catching. Unique Nike shoes, local and self branded shirts(~$ 28/shirt), a large selection of hats, and cool music are what you can expect to find here. If you wanna support local, give this place a visit!

Good service, dope location right next to Truest(new consignment shoe store) and Mono which is like a hipster store. But definitely a dope location for in4m and cool guys working there. A lot of skate stuff, I know currently they carry the in4m brand Odd Future, and a pretty good selection of shoes even though they only have maybe 12 sneakers they’re all pretty dope. It’s def worth a stop.

In4mation is a recently opened clothing boutique in McCully that is a part of a growing row of apparel small businesses on South King Street. It is located in the same building of the former McCully Chop Sui closer to the bus stop than the corner. The signage for the shop was not obvious walking by so I had to do a double take to make sure I was in the right place. This is the 3rd In4mation shop to open. The other locations being at Pearlridge and in Downtown. The boutique space is a bit smallish, but it is full of streetwear clothing apparel for men and women. Particularly a nice graphic t-shirt selection. The shirt designs range from being whimsical to being local-esque. They also carry an array of skateboards, shoes and hats. Pricing is relatively moderate, but it may seem like a ripoff to some. Specifically, the Hawaii related designs. Some would argue you could buy a Hawaii t-shirt in Waikiki for much less than you would pay here. And I do agree somewhat. I like the designs, but the prices could be a little lower on the t-shirts and some of the other offerings. If you like their styles, I would wait till there is a sale here to pick them up. Nice to see apparel lines in Hawaii like In4mation, which are local but offer product lines that would appeal to a national audience. Check them out as you might find a cool item or two here to add to your wardrobe.

I keep mental post-it notes about various things, but the largest & ever-growing list is compiled of brands & people who inspire me. Some of my favorite inspirational individuals are the ones I’m able to interact with locally, insert In4mation. Last year, I had the pleasure of interviewing some of the owners behind this brand for a blog series entitled«Legends In My Mind.» It’s amazing how much can happen over the course of a few years, In4mation celebrated their two year anniversary at their Nuuanu location & opened a brand spanking new location next to Truest &MONO Hawaii. Congratulations to In4mation for opening their third location in McCully & for your wildly successful Grand Opening + Pop Up Shop with Odd Future. This is just the beginning of a wider fan base & better things to come! If you missed In4mation McCully’s Grand Opening & Odd Future Pop Up Shop, you can still stop by for some special items. If you don’t live on Oahu, there’s still a few In4mation x Odd Future collab: Honu Cat tee available on In4mation’s website. Also in4mation is doing Black Friday is a BIGWAY! Customers will receive 25% off the whole store at all three of their locations + when you buy a $ 20 gift card, you’ll receive a second card FREE. You can buy up to $ 100 worth of gift cards per person. PS — Shout out to Jun for letting me view the new In4mation McCully location before the official soft opening & allowing me to practice my product styling.

How surreal is it that my old office is now In4mation? My gallery lost its office space and these guys came in and turned it into a gorgeous retail front. We all know the usual happenings of informations– great street wear that catapults Hawaii to national notoriety on places like Hypebeast. But lets not talk about that. Lets talk Moiliili. This sad sad neighborhood is plagued by homelessness, hostess bars, and dilapidated plantation homes. Its been in talks for generations about turning this area into a college town around the University of Hawaii. Up until lately, little has been done to make this a reality. These guys, along with my fellow neighbors Truest and Mono are bringing int he youth and desire to clean up this neighborhood. I’m proud that these guys are comtributing to the reclaimed neighborhood of Moiliili. Move aside #OurKakaako, cause #MyMoiliili is gonna be the next big thing.
