We were helped from the other location on the main strip. The other store didn’t have the size and colour available so they had awesome customer service and called the Lewers location to put the stock aside for us.
When we got to the Lewers location, nothing but warm welcome even though they didn’t have to do much since it was already put aside. But I have nothing bad to say. Very good customer service at both locations.

I was late night shopping on Waikiki Beach w/​my sister when I stumbled upon Island Sole. I found the absolute cutest pairs of leather Toms for my baby nephew for Christmas, but unfortunately his feet were a little bigger than I thought. When I called to ask about an exchange, Ren was so courteous and was extremely helpful. The process of shipping them back to the store was very simple and hassle free. What made this place over the top was when Ren called letting me know that the shoes he was going to ship out had a scratch on the side and that he wanted to wait for a new shipment to come in before he sent it out. The level of care was just amazing, thanks again for the excellent service!

Just want to say how much we enjoyed our experience at island sole. We’re here from omaha nebraska and Ren helped us find the perfect pair of olukai sandals. When u go to Waikiki go to the island sole at Waikiki beach walk and ask for Ren.

Island Sole understands customer satisfaction! They didn’t have a particular pair of shoes in the size I needed, so the lady working did everything she could to track them down for me; she called around to other stores, went over to their nearby warehouse to check, and eventually found a pair somewhere and had them brought in for me the next day.
She truly went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. Can’t recommend them enough.

This is the new competition for Flip Flop Shops, except there are a lot more locations in Waikiki & the Honolulu area (six total, but not including: two in Maui, one in California).
This store is shaped between a rectangle and a square (minus a little piece cut out– may be the back storage area?). Not many obstacles for bringing our stroller inside, which is a good thing. There is a bench to the left side front of the store, a shoe display on the right front of the store, while the register is towards the back, where the tall mirror is also located. The walls are covered in so many different shoe brands– like Cobian, Sanuk, Olukai, Crocs, Reef, Cushe, Havaianas, etc. for adults and children alike.
Clean store, nice staff (helpful but not pushy), and so many brands to choose from– we went here a couple times, but I couldn’t make up my mind. We also checked out some of the other locations as well. I think I really like this one, though.

As fate would have it, I broke my favorite sandals, my long-​time trusty gold Aldo’s –big sad face– after celebrating (a little too hard?) the end of my grad school term. Mourning my loss, and in need of something right away, I stopped by Island Sole Beachwalk and found some comfy and cute classic Toms. (Yay for social responsibility?)
Thank Kendrick and Mateo for finding my size, and helping me pick them out. I also spotted a sweet pair of Olu Kai’s I might have to pick up next time I’m in the area. Hopefully, I don’t wait til another one of my sandals break til I see this duo again, but I know they’ll be ready to save the day. Thanks guys!

My husband & I visited friends in Waikiki and stayed for 9 nights. After 5 days, after all the walking and hiking, my feet swelled up and was hurting from blisters. Our friend recommended Island Sole.
I tried on a few brand of sandals. They were all cushiony & comfortable. I bought a pair of Cushion Reef’s. Cost around $ 35 with our friend’s local discount. That was the most expensive pair of sandals ever bought. I’m used to paying $ 10-​$ 15 for a cheap pair of sandals. Unfortunately, the cheap sandals were not comfortable after 5 days. The new Reef sandals wonderfully saved my feet. I’m so happy I bought a pair of sandals from Hawaii.
Hint: If you have wide feet like I do… make sure you buy a shoe/​sandal size UP your usual size because the first sandal I bought was tight on me. Had to exchange it within the same hour. I’m a size 6 and had to get a size 7. Everyone is different so try that first.

Had to go on a mission to find my little sister some slippers when she came to visit. Every store we went into either didn’t carry children’s styles or didn’t have the right size. We tried the other Island Sole shops in Waikiki but this location had the most brands, styles and sizes, including children’s, to choose from. Justin helped us find a few pairs to send her and the rest of my family home with. Very knowledgable and absolutely awesome customer service. Go visit him for some slippers!

Yay! I found a flop flop store that cried my favorite brand. Cobian!
The sales staff was great and helped me pick out the perfect pair for my aching feet. They helped me pick out a pair with arch support.
Prices were not inflated either for being in the Waikiki Beach walk area.
I left with a pair of Cobian Jump sandals ($ 30). I want to go back for another set in a different color now.
Thanks Island Sole! My feet are thanking you!

I like the selection so much, I came back for another pair and ended leaving with 3 instead. Haha!
Sales staff was soooo nice. She even caught the fact that I grabbed the wrong size.
2 more pairs of Cobian’s (Astro Jump and On A Mission) and 1 OluKai MAKAI Series.

They have a good selection of flip flops, but there were only a few brands to choose from. I remember seeing Havaianas, Sanuk, and Rainbows. I was looking for Rainbows, but they only had a couple of designs. If you’re looking for Havaianas or Sanuks this is a good place to go, but they are on the pricier side since it’s in downtown Honolulu. The staff here was friendly and helpful though!
I packed the most comfortable Naturalizer sandals I own for a recent trip to Hawaii. They lasted one day and my feet were done with them. We happened upon this shop and I felt I owed it to my tired feet to check them out. I found a killer pair of Sanuk flip flops thanks to the help of a friendly employee. They made my feet feel like they were walking on little pillows! This shop carries several brands of sandals and flip flops including Sanuk, Toms, Vibram and others. The prices are still a bit Wakiki-​ish, but my feet were worth it and I was able to focus on having fun and not looking for spots to sit down everywhere we went!
