The new ownership is horrible. I like to buy a groupon to give someone new a try. She called me and cancelled the appointment. She said I would have to try and get my money back from Groupon because she wasn’t going to honor the certificates from a haole company. I was a little shocked but politely said, I will give them a call and if I have any trouble I will let you know. She starts freaking out and went on a rant. I said to her, do you realize that I am a potential client but not anymore!!! What a way to do business. Be careful — this place is not well managed.

I wish I would have read the other reviews first but unfortunately I didn’t and I bought the groupon that was for sale. It was Two 90 minute Deep Tissue, Swedish, or Sports Massage for $ 136. Normal price was $ 330 so of course I thought what a great deal! I called on Monday the 14th and made my appt for Friday the 18th at 2 pm. It was a little difficult because of the language barrier but the appt was made. I then called on Tuesday morning the 15th because I had to change my time from 2 pm to 6:30 pm. It was extremely difficult because of the language barrier but she finally confirmed that the 2 pm appt had been cancelled and that my new appt was at 6:30 pm. On Tuesday night at 6:30 pm I get a phone call from them asking me where I was and how late I was going to be. I then had to explain that my appt originally was for Friday the 18th at 2 pm and then I changed it to 6:30 pm on Friday not Tuesday. She was very confused but said okay and hung up. I was not getting a good feeling about this whole situation. Friday arrived and I was a bit worried. If you decide to give this place a try make sure you let the gate attendant know that you are there for Laulea Hale so that you get their parking pass but you still have to pay $ 1 when you leave but you have to get the parking ticket validated. I arrived early because I wasn’t sure how traffic was going to be and I wasn’t sure where I was going or what parking was going to be like. I apologized for being early and said that I could wait but the owner/manager(?) said it was okay and told me to go ahead and get on the table. The room was cute and cozy and so I got prepared. It was 6:02 pm when I got on the table. The business is on the 36th floor so I was enjoying the view. I didn’t want to put my face into the holder because I get so stuffed up so I was waiting for the therapist to come in. At 6:09 the owner/manager came in and asked if I was okay waiting for 5 more minutes since I came early. I told her I could wait till 6:30 since I came so early and she assured me it was okay and that I only had to wait 5 more minutes. She stayed in with me and did small talk and then left at 6:14. At 6:18(9 minutes later) a therapist came in and asked how was I doing. I told her great and put my face into the holder. She then walked out of the room. So I lifted up my head and waited. At 6:22 she walked back in and so I put my face into the holder. She then put her hands on my shoulder and rubbed for about 10 seconds, if even that, and then without saying a word to me she walked out of the room. AGAIN for the second time. Two minutes later she walked back in with another therapist and the other therapist said hello and she asked me if I was ready, while the first therapist left again! I asked her what happened and she said the other lady was too busy. So at 6:25 my 90 minute massage began. The therapist never introduced herself and never asked me any questions. When she began her pressure was so soft that it didn’t even feel like a massage. I thought maybe she needed to warm up. After about 15 minutes I finally asked her to please use a firmer pressure. She said she was afraid of hurting me but I told her to please be stronger and that if it hurt I would tell her. It still took her a little bit of time before she started really using a firm pressure. It was good once she got going. Then she was working on my left leg with both hands and then I noticed it was one hand and it was slow as if she was distracted. I was trying to figure out what she was doing and I heard she was texting with her other hand. She dropped the phone onto the bed, I could feel it near my leg, and then began massaging with both hands again. Then I noticed it was she was massaging again with one hand and she was texting, FORTHESECONDTIME, with her other hand. After that she did a fairly decent job. She finised at 7:46. So my 90 minute massage officially started at 6:25 and ended at 7:46. That means my 90 minute massage was only 81 minutes! Oh AND before the therapist did her texting someone opened the door and was communicating with the therapist and then shut the door. OH!!! ANDONEMORETHINGTHATDROVEMECRAZY!!! The«music» that played was not only NOT relaxing, it sounded like some insects making noises, but it kept repeating itself the ENTIRETIME! There was only that one«music»! OMG! I don’t have a desire to go back but I still have one massage left. I’m hoping maybe the owner/manager sees this and so that when I go back for my last massage it will be better. I will report back.

Would not recommend anyone to this place. I found out this place through one of my friends post on Instagram. The pictures of the view were gorgeous. The open glass window overlooking the city lights were very breath taking. I visited the website and was immediately sold by their relax atmosphere and late night hours of operation. I called the number provided on the website multiple times and was not able to get through. I really wanted to book a 90 min couples massage around 630 so that we could watch the sunset and see the city lights. I finally got into contact through email. I booked a couples massage at 6 and was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to surprise the boyfriend. The email also stated that since we were first time customers they would give us 40% off. How great! Our 90 min massage will only cost $ 200 together. This is when it gets awful… We finally get to our appointment and our massage therapists were late and didn’t even know what we were booked for. They placed us into a couples room which was a nice cute put together room. Unfortunately I couldn’t get over the cracked mirror. We get undressed and the massage therapists finally come in. The one I had kept talking and talking which made me not feel relaxed at all. My boyfriends one, on the other hand, didn’t say one word to him. Didn’t even ask where his main complaints were. We go along with the massage and my therapists phone goes off… And she answered it! Seriously? Then about an hour later she’s like almost done. I told her we booked a 90 min session. She’s like ohh and sets an alarm on her cellphone. My therapists cell phone rang again which she of course answered. Unbelievable. I couldn’t wait to finish our session. Not to mention that the lotion they were using was from a pump and the squeaking sound was driving me nuts. At the end of our awful massage, the therapists told us that there was no credit card machine because the person who carries around the credit card machine called in sick. They told us that there is an ATM downstairs and that it’ll be $ 120 each. Umm ya, they automatically added 20% gratuity. No, you def do not deserve that much. But whatever, we went downstairs and the ATM machine doesn’t exceed withdrawals over $ 200. So I had to make two transactions which they charged $ 2.25 each extra. On the website it also stated that we can relax, drink tea or coffee, up to two hours after our session. After we paid, our therapists already had their bags on their shoulder ready to leave…
