My entire experience here was excellent: from the consultation to the treatment, and the follow up after, Dr. Chung and the staff were friendly and professional. My legs feel and look great and I’m so impressed by how quick the recovery was! I would recommend them to anyone else struggling with painful veins. Thank you for your help!

Worst facial treatments ever: The doctor was extremely rude and self-​absorbed, not listening. I felt unwelcome and as if he was doing me a favor, even though I paid a high amount of money for his service. On top of that, I had a big bruise around my eye and his product didn’t last as it does on average, making me understand he doesn’t use fresh products.
I absolutely do NOT recommend his service to anyone on this planet.

I have previously been to a well known plastic surgeon in seek of some help with my sun spots on my face. After numerous chemical peels and lasers I was left worst off then what I came with. Feeling discouraged and ugly I checked out many Doctors and Dr. Chung had such awesome reviews. So, I decided to give him a try. When he first walked in I knew that he was kind and understanding and after hearing my struggles with my face he was so sympathetic towards my situation. He had some awesome suggestions and we decided to go with the Spectra laser. I have had only three out of the 10 treatments and have noticed a huge difference in my skin, the blotches are starting to lighten up and my skin looks so healthy. I am so happy, Dr. Chung gave me back my confidence, and I can’t wait until my 10^th treatment to finally be free from my horrible looking face. Thank God for Dr. Chung, he is truly a miracle worker.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chung’s since 2009 and have received many sclerotherapy treatments from him. Genetically blessed with spider veins from a very young age (thanks mom and dad!) I have had countless spider vein treatments starting when I was 17. As those of us with spider veins know, they will always come back!
I have gone to a few clinics on Oahu for both laser and sclerotherapy and have never been as satisfied with the experience as I have been with Dr. Chung. Cosmetically he has treated my veins far better than any other clinic and he and his staff are ALWAYS professional, courteous, and kind. I walk in not happy to be there because I have to deal with these darn spider veins but they make this frustrating and embarrassing condition better.
With Dr. Chung I get the best results, as he goes after the bigger blue reticular veins which feed the smaller purple and red ones. I have made the mistake in the past with getting only laser treatments but the veins either don’t go away or come back quickly. Dr. Chung explained why: the root of the problem is not treated, you have to inject the reticular veins. When I first went to him, he did an ultrasound and discovered I had a deep varicose vein. No wonder why many of the laser and sclero treatments I had before weren’t very effective!
With Dr. Chung I need about two treatments and my legs stay nice for almost a year. For his price and professionalism I highly recommend this place. Thank you to Dr. Chung and his staff.

Dr Chung is great and so is his staff. I’ve been going here to get treatment for spider veins and have been very satisfied with results.
At first I was very upset because I wasn’t getting the results I expected. The Dr and office manager listened to my concerns and were very attentive and supportive. You just have to realize the veins look worse before they get better. A few months later my legs looked 100x better. Have to be patient with schlerotherapy and Dr Chung knows what he’s doing.

Dr. Chung is the best, office professionals always friendly and helpful — i highly recommend The Vein and Skin Center.

Their receptionist is always sweet and friendly, their nurses (or aides, not sure what they’re called) are also very friendly, and Dr. Chung is also super friendly! As I ice my tattoo pre/​post op, they make sure I’m as comfy as can be, and always offer to bring me reading material: p They give a curtesy call to remind me of my upcoming appointments which is always helpful.

I just had my 3^rd (of 4) treatment using the new PicoSure laser. I believe he is the only one on in the state (and 1 of 4 in the world) that has this new laser. With the PicoSure laser, the tattoo is guaranteed to be gone in 4 treatments, but the other lasers is 10 treatments. And Dr. Chung said this laser is less painful. Less painful AND less treatments?! Lets do this! :D
It really isn’t too sore. I think the sound makes me think its sore-​er then it actually is, but it kind of feels like someone scraping your sunburn with a needle? Okay, wait… that actually makes it sound worse… but tone that description down a bit and thats what it pretty much is.
My tattoo is on my upper back, and it’s pretty small so I’m under the laser for only about 5 minutes. But they do have you ice your tattoo before to numb your skin, and after as well.
Go with Dr. Chung and PicoSure for your tattoo removal! You won’t be disappointed!

Do not go to this clinic. The doctor didn’t listen to my initial concerns and as a result made my legs look worst than what I originally came in for. I came in with a few spider veins and only wanted that particular area treated! I should have been an advocate for my self instead of listening to the Doctor. He got rid of the blue reticular veins which caused my legs to look horrible. I did a total of 4 treatments and now I can’t wear a dress. My legs were beautiful and now they are ugly. Another vein specialist confirmed the doctor should have only treated my spider veins with laser or at least started with this therapy first.
Also, he took before pictures of my legs but didn’t take after pictures. I wonder why.
I repeat do not go to this CLINIC you will regret!

Had a great experience! Did a laser tattoo removal treatment with the new PicoSure laser. I couldn’t be any happier with the results. It did wonders to the green and blue ink. I’ve previously had treatments with a Q switch laser at a well known office in Beverly Hills, CA, but the PicoSure laser blows it away. Blue and green ink doesn’t stand a chance against it. Plus the amount of treatments needed for complete removal are less. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond for me. I couldn’t thank them enough. Dr. Chung did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend this place for laser tattoo removal.
