I’m giving the stars solely on their product. I love Hawaiian candy and make it a point to stop by the swap meet every time I come to Hawaii just to hit up this spot. This last time though the lady at the cash register ruined my experience. I had my arms full of candies and had calculated in my head how much I’d be spending. I dropped all my things on the table and instantly the cashier came up with a price that was at least $ 10 more than it should’ve been. I started calculating out loud how much everything was and she immediately started punching numbers in on her calculator and then came up with the correct amount, which instantly made me upset. Point being, BECAREFULWHENPAYINGTHEYMAYBERIPPINGYOUOFF. mahalo

We love the swap meet in Aloha Stadium. we were there a couple of weeks ago I bought a bag of sealed Sesame Sticks Regular. We opened them today and wow the bag had a rancid smell when we opened it and they had the extremely old smell. tried one and wow couldn’t choke it down. noticed no dates on their packages. Our granddaughter had seen them on an review as a fresh place. I wouldn’t go to them again now concerned about the other items I bought and gave as gifts. They should have better control on their products.

To update my review, I went to the Ward Farmer’s Market and saw the vacant Lin’s Market store was under construction with no signs. There is now a dollar store set up to the far right of the building. I asked the security person where they went and she told me that they moved to Ala Moana… to be continued(see Lin’s Market Ala Moana).

I first heard of this place when I went to the Aloha Bowl Swap meet. Went to their Ward Farmer’s market location, where they have a larger selection than their booth at the swap meet. Lots of varieties for dried and preserved fruit, candies, arare crackers, dried marlin, dried ahi, and other Asian snacks. Many selections with li hing powder coated dried fruit and candies. This is one of our first stops when we land on Oahu. We come here to pick up some snacks to munch while were in the room, or on the road. My favorites are the dried ahi, dried strawberries, and wasabi crackers.

i’ll admit that i never step foot at the ward farmers market ever while living here. i agree with ck s on the price and origin of the goods. i bought a packet of iso peanuts and dried papaya for a snack — pretty standard stuff. the staff lets you browse all you want in their small store. they have marlin jerky for $ 20/lb. does anyone wanna try and let me know whether it’s good? see pics!

Variety store for Asian preserved fruits and cracked seeds and various snacks. The prices are steep though, a lot of them are above $ 10/lb. Not sure whether their stuffs are from China, Taiwan, or local made.
