Decent after dark club, the Dj tonight wasn’t that good DEFINITELY deciding factor in how the night is going to pan out. Drink prices were OK, good demographic of tourist and locals… no bs unless you’re really looking for it. Fun place to visit if you’re staying close… cops always posted right outside to scoop up drunk drivers

Lunch with a view — got a lava flow, Spinach artichoke dip for appetizer, Maui chicken sandwich for my main meal. Drink was really good for $ 8… The view… Oh the view, worth it! Service was good, the wait was about 10 minutes… Parked at the honolulu zoo $ 1 per hour… Enjoy!

Writing this as I happily go home with my take-out food! :) Me and my BF just met the friendliest worker at Lulu’s! I believe his name was Ty. We were planning to eat here since it was industry night, but we didn’t know that it turned into a club after a certain hour. We opted to order take-out instead of choosing another place to eat. My BF ordered through Ty and he was sooo nice! It was loud and full of drunk people everywhere. And through all that Ty kept a super professional yet friendly stance! Props to him! We even saw him help out this super drunk guy. You deserve five stars and many more, Ty!

Fantastic restaurant, on the corner Kapahulu and Kalakaua in Waikiki, that is easy to overlook. Find it though, the next time you are hunting for a good place to eat. Not only is the food really good, the view is incredible. I had the hula burger and it was juicy, well seasoned, and very tasty. The view is Waikiki beach and crystal clear waters. Loved it!

Best breakfast and only dish to knock my socks off. The stuffed French toast with coconut syrup was amazing. The only reason this was not 5 stars was getting stuck to the sticky tables. Look up above Starbucks is a bit hidden.

The views from this spot at sunset are amazing. Stay away from the seats along the windows the sun hits them as it decends apnd it’s crazy hot. The food was great. I had one of their burgers cooked woth slight pink in the middle. The margaritas are also another great touch to the meal. The only aspect I didn’t like is the seating. They’re tables are set up like picnic tables and can seat up to 8, but if there’s already 4 at the table they wont seat a party of two so you end up waiting for an extra 20 – 30 until that party leaves. I would go back for the food and view.

The view and atmosphere is the best thing about this place. Great joint for those that enjoy the touristy feel and dive bar atmosphere. Table service was great but it took them a bit to get us a table. They don’t have a great turnover but it’s much better than most places in Waikiki. The margarita is delicious and the Mai tai was just too strong. You can get a better one at most bars in Hawaii. Had the surf and turf, shrimp were great and the steak was just an average steak. Recommend the mashed potatoes as a side though. My family ordered prime rib, seared ahi, and coconut shrimps. They enjoyed all the dishes.

My wife and I went here for breakfast during our stay in Waikiki. Both meals were spectacular. I had the black and blue Benedict and she had the stuffed French toast. The black and blue came with a large very rare ahi tuna steak that covered both pieces of English muffin. The Cajun seasoning on the tuna matched the relatively spicy sauce over the hollandaise. The side potatoes were also delicious. The French toast was a lot of food. Four full pieces of toast stuffed with cream cheese. Too much food for one. Overall, the black and blue was a 5 and the French toast was a 4. Highly recommend for a good filling breakfast.

When staying in Hawaii at Waikiki beach last summer we ate here a lot bc it was right down the street from our condo. Service was always great and it was amazing to sit outside and eat dinner during a sunset in Hawaii. Will definitely never forget it and will always recommend this place.

We stopped by here twice in one day. First the views are beautiful, overlooking the beach on the second floor. On a weekend we didn’t have too much trouble getting in at around 11, but the second time around 2:30 we had about a 30 minute wait for our table of 6 people. Parking: It can be rough to park, but the best spot is in the park. There are spots available if you wait, but maybe that’s just the two times I went. I won’t promise anything. They’ve got a solid menu, but during busy times their wait staff can be lackluster in service. Their wing plate looked awesome, but I had their lava burger instead, which was solid. Their happy hour $ 4 and $ 5 drinks were amazing. The $ 5 Mai tai was the strongest I’ve had on the island and their mango margarita was tasty.

Solid service, good food, great prices and the view is top notch! After coming to Lu Lu’s several times for the tasty drinks(and smelling the sizzling steak fajita) I decided to head there for dinner. Dinner was indeed a good decision! We were advised of a 45 minute wait for a table which was more than reasonable for the prime dinner hour. Our party of four stood by the bar and indecisively studied the drink menu for about ten minutes before finally deciding on our drinks of choice. As soon as we settled on our drinks, our table pager buzzed on the table, rumbling like the sounds that were coming from all of our bellies. We were promptly seated at a table with a lovely view of the sunset. We ordered chips and salsa(probably the least expensive appetizer I’ve ever ordered in Waikiki coming in at $ 3.99). I split the chicken fajitas with a friend while the two other diners at our table ordered the mahi mahi, pork egg rolls and ahi poke. The fajitas were as tasty as I’d hoped! They included onions, green peppers and mushrooms all perfectly caramelized on the hot plate. The chicken was all white meat which was perfectly juicy and it all came with a melty layer of shredded cheese. The cheese wasn’t all the way melted so I would have loved if they threw it in the oven for a couple minutes to melt completely. Accompaniments included flour tortillas, sour cream, salsa, guacamole and rice and beans. Is it actual Mexican food? Not even close, but still super tasty! My friend’s mahi looked a little dry and he said it was just«ok.» But the other friend’s poke looked ono and the pork egg rolls had a pork hash filling and sweet chili dipping sauce that tasted house made. Overall, Lu Lu’s is a winner in my book for providing delicious food at a very reasonable price! Next time I’ll try the salads too!

The view is quite nice! Prices range from $ 10 – 20 per person. Menu options are perfect for someone who isn’t interested in trying local food or for a surefire satisfactory meal. Drinks are decent($ 8 and up for speciality drinks).

Visited Waikiki 3 times before, we never ate at Lulu’s before. The restaurant was always crowded and we never wanted to wait around. This trip we decided to try Lulu’s mainly because of the reviews, pictures and proximity to the hotel. We decided to have breakfast. First, we waited less than 10 minutes to be seated, Pro Bowl weekend ! We waited less than 20 minutes after the order was taken for our food to come to the table. The food was fantastic!!! We have had breakfast here every morning since then! The waiters are friendly, fast and attentive to your needs! Kitchen got a little backed up one morning. but they let the guests know. Sat at the bar after the Pro Bowl for drinks and snacks. wings and coconut shrimp. again touchdown! Ashley, the bartender. she was amazing… keeping the drinks coming and the patrons happy!

I don’t know how you can go wrong serving Nachos but they managed to do it. I think ours were the worst tasting Nachos I’ve ever had. Such a shame that many restaurants in this Waikiki area figure that tourists will come and go so they really don’t care about repeat business. Oh… my friends Mojito was just terrible as well. Other than maybe going in for just a beer, this place is one that you would definitely want to skip if you want some decent grub.

I felt lied to. I went here 5 years ago for breakfast and the waitress at the time said that they served breakfast all day. It was outstanding. Fast forward 3 years ago and we found out that they do not serve breakfast all day. The owner asked us who told us that breakfast was served all day. He treated us like liars. I could not believe how rude this man was. He is the owner he should have apologized on behalf of his restaurant that his worker should have given us the right information. Instead he got so defensive and treated us as if we made the story up. I mean I was there when that waitress said that breakfast was served all day, he should have acknowledged the mistake. But for whatever reason the owner of this establishment decided to accuse that we made the story up. My mom and I were there 5 years ago, and we came back again 2 years later. We could not believe how a professional restaurateur decides to defend his employee’s words and made us think we made the story up. As someone who’s from the mainland, there are better breakfast places there. We will never return.

This is a great place to catch a game or Sunday brunch or both! A little bit crowded and noisy but hey it’s a sports bar right? A beer isn’t too expensive. You can get a good a good beer for $ 6 and they will have specials a bit cheaper on different days. The food is on point as well. I had the pastrami eggs benedict with cornbeef hash. It was amazing as it sounds. From a sports bar perspective the place is awesome as well. There are literally 360 degrees of TV’s around the entire perimeter of the main room. So no matter where you sit you can be looking at a TV. Service was good, food was a little slow coming out but other than that it was a great experience. I’ll chalk it to the place being absolutely packed due to the NFL playoff game(which was the reason I was there).

Come on, one of the best view in Waikiki to enjoy sports on TV, breakfast brunch, lunch, dinner and evening drinks. I wouldn’t say the best food here but easy to be served right on the beach if you’re hungry like a hippo. A friend next to me says that this is the best because you can have mimosas and bloody Mary’s all day long and get to enjoy the beach view and walk over to the beach. There is a volleyball court right across so every player get to come here for drinks and food. A great way to celebrate ;)

We have family in town and I thought it would be nice to enjoy dinner with a view. We called to try for a reservation but they don’t take them for the weekend. We walked around first and got to Lulus at 5:30. We had 5 people and we sat right away. The sun was directly I’m my eyes for about 20 minutes until it set. I decided to walk across the street to take a few pics without anything obstructing my view. Once the sun set the experience wasn’t so bad. We ordered the poke and kalua pork egg rolls for our family to try. The coconut shrimp was overcooked and I chose not to get the 1000 island dressing on my burger since it came with guacamole. It didn’t have much flavor so I ate half. The garlic fries were on point though. There was live music but it seemed a little loud. The experience was nice but I think next time we will go to a different place.

Lulu’s lured us in with the promise of dining with a beautiful view and sweet kisses from the warm Hawaiian ocean breeze, only to sorely disappoint us with poor customer service and lifeless«food.» –2 stars: My 6-person family was sat in the back corner, on a sticky bar table, next to a distracting TV and behind a pillar, where we’d surely be forgotten. My mom asked her if we could move to a table near the view that appeared open, but she said she couldn’t move us and didn’t say why. After over 30 minutes of trying to converse with my family(who I hadn’t seen altogether in months) through the mind-numbing racket of the oversized fan directly above our heads, I asked the server if we could switch tables so I could talk to my family. We were handed another«table beeper» and served our meals 15 minutes later. –1 star: I ordered the impressive-sounding«fruit bowl» and received a nicely decorated cluster of flavorless pineapples, orange melon, and watermelon. I paid over $ 10 for it and will be hungry in 30 minutes.

Lulu’s is located on the corner of Kapahulu & Kalakaua Ave, across from Walls for the locals. Stopped into Lulu’s for breakfast, this is what you picture when you think of a beach surf spot hangout with food and drinks. Nice relaxing atmosphere even though there was a lot of people eating here. You’ll definitely feel out of place if you come here wearing long pants instead of shorts. Open air type of place, so if you’re expecting cold AC… Sorry it’s Hawaiian AC. Wooden counter lining the outer perimeter of the restaurant to enjoy the views of the beach. There a lot of wooden tables which seat 8 people, but are used for any amount of patrons. Flat screen TV’s adorn the walls so you get views from every seat. Ordered the Deuces Wild: Two Eggs any style, two pancakes, two strips of bacon and corned beef hash.($ 12) In Waikiki, this is a good deal for that amount of food. The fresh corned beef hash has enough potatoes in it, you’re going to get a good carbo load, along with the two pancakes. Everything was good. I was so stuffed! Our server was great, very friendly and attentive. She gave us a heads up about the food wait time due to the packed restaurant, it wasn’t that bad at all. Good brekkie option while staying in Waikiki, I’ll have to come back and check their Happy Hour which looks good.

I like to stop in here for a late lunch after a swim at Queen’s or Kaimana’s. Grab a seat along the rail for best views. Quality food and nice portion sizes for reasonable prices(considering it’s Waikiki). Great beer selection and with ample big tv screens on both sides of restaurant, it’s a popular spot to watch football. Service can be slow during peak hours, so be prepared, but waiters are all upbeat and friendly. Tip: ask for half plate of nachos(not mentioned on menu on menu), pay less and still more than enough for two people.

One of the better bars located in the Waikiki area thats on the strip, the prices are very reasonable, they have a good happy hour, and special events on various nights. Would recommend this bar if you want to switch it up from your typical chain bars like Buffalo Wild Wings, Yard House, etc you get the point.

If you are in Waikiki this is a good place go go for drinks and atmosphere. Tons of sit down seats, plenty of seats that can view the ocean, table tops and bar seas available. Music entertainment daily at night time that adds to the ambiance. Good level of noise and good for all ages. Mondays is the best night to go as they typically have industry night. 50% of food and drinks with your liqueur license card — if you don’t got one bring someone who does. Food is a bit pricy but you are paying for atmosphere. Not an everyday place but a good place to check out even for just drinks or to watch a sports game(10 televisions).

The GMSEXUALLYHARASSED a waitress — Please do not give this restaurant your business! Any reviews of the food or service in the restaurant are completely useless when I leave feeling sick to my stomach having witnessed the general manager sexually harass 3 waitress during my meal. I met with my friends for a meal around 7pm tonight, and most everything was just fine until about 8pm, when a drunk guy(turns out to be the General Manager, Nick) standing at the end of bar next to me starts getting too close to me, and walking behind the bar to touch waitresses inappropriately. At first, I though, «Where’s the manager? They need to cut this guy off.» After he walks away for a second, another drunk guest(also a manager, female) explains to me that he IS the manager of this place. In the span of about 10 minutes we see Nick slap three waitresses on their asses in plain view of us and every other guest(Not that this appropriate behavior anyplace at any time). Nick also decided to flick me with a dollar bill in the midst of grabbing another waitress. Having our fill of watching this gross drunk guy slap waitresses’ asses and actually flick money at me, we tell Nick that we are uncomfortable and would like it if he left the bar area where we are seated. Nick slurs something about feminism(YUP!) and walks away. We then ask to speak to the manager-on-duty, Tony, who seems unfazed by the ass-slapping, but slightly concerned about the dollar-flicking. Absolutely nothing happens as a result of our telling Tony, and I’ve come to understand that the owners aren’t involved and leave this drunk, Nick, to run the place. Please do not give this restaurant your business. The manager, Nick, is a drunk creep, Tony is weak, and the employees should file a lawsuit! EDIT To reply to Nick’s comment to my review: We witnessed you grabbing and slapping our waitress(on-duty). I do not believe that is appropriate behavior from a manager(off-duty or on) ever, under any circumstances at all. I don’t not need to know you or the social situation to know that you made our dining experience unbearable.

LuLu’s is located on the 2nd floor(above Starbucks) and is across the street from Waikiki Beach. We decided to meet up with friends here for dinner at 5:30pm, a party of six. They don’t take reservations Sat-Mon, but we were told there shouldn’t be a wait if we arrived between 5−6pm on a Monday. They were right. A nice long table was available at sunset. The slight problem was that the sun was in our guests eyes for a good 30 mins. In addition, it made for a very warm night. No breeze. I didn’t feel A/C or see any fans running. So dress appropriately and bring a hand fan. We relied on Unilocal for food suggestions. So, Coconut Shrimp and Loco Moco plates were ordered. I also had the Chicken Quesadilla. The shrimp came out a little on the burnt side. Not as succulent as I had envisioned. The red colored tortillas were used for the quesadillas. That plate was just okay. Nothing to brag about. The kids loved the Loco Moco plates. There’s entertainment beginning at 6pm daily. The only problem with that was it was kinda too loud to have a regular conversation. I left with plugged ears and my throat felt like I had strained it the entire time. So, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re trying to catch up with someone you haven’t seen for years. The live music was okay, just loud. As for parking, the easiest lot to get into was at the Honolulu Zoo. You have to pay in advance and decided to go with 3−4hrs for $ 4. Place the ticket in your dash. As for the view, it’s a partial ocean view only because the palm trees on both sides of the street block it.

Even though we have been here at night, this was the first time coming during the day. It was very hot and we were skeptical to sit since it is all but fans and open space. Surprisingly it was nice and breezy! The food was amazing. We sat overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach. My boyfriend and I both ordered fish sandwiches with fries and it was so delicious, along with the drinks as well. Their lava flow was so refreshing and yummy, I definitely recommend getting it. Our daughter loved the chicken strips, it had this crunchy coating with great flavor. Our server was very attentive and we were given water right away. Great view and great food? This is definitely a go to place when you are walking around Waikiki or even when you are spending your day at the beach. P.S– They even have a spot to put your surf board!

I had breakfast with my girl friend there this morning. I love the view from the counter. The service is always good but the food is just ok for me to be honest. I’ve been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I like breakfast and early dinner during sunset the best there. They change menu for lunch at 11am but I wish they can serve breakfast a bit longer. One time I went there for breakfast but couldn’t make it by 11 and had to pick something from lunch menu which was mostly sandwich and burgers. Night time could be really loud with some live music and lots of people so if you hope to really talk it won’t be an ideal place for you but otherwise you would enjoy the great music and lively atmosphere there! This 4 star is for the awesome ocean view and the extraordinary generosity of Monday Industry Day. Thank you Lulu’s!!! I
