First time comin into this MDs and the nana that took my order was kinda grouchy lol .im glad the manager was so kind.

I wanted a fast-​food fix after work, so we ended up here. I ordered a fruit punch at the drive thru, sipped it, and realized it was a Coke. My boyfriend had to go inside and get my drink. Also, my McChickens tasted somewhat like cheeseburgers, which is disgusting. I will save my fast-​food crave for the Pearl City location next time.

Order:

they were also very rude talking in filipino right in front of me while I was ordering.

Be careful when making the turn into the drive-​thru because the turning radius isn’t big enough. Bad enough the driveway isn’t wide enough either. Muffin was super hard and they didn’t even bother to give napkins in the haste of it all.

Id give this a zero if possible! Lady taking our order was very impatient and there was only us! She Didn’t even wait til we finished, yet she gave us our total and told us to drive to the next window, while we were still in the process of ordering! Wtf? She then repeated one of our items back to us and then went completely silent on the rest of the order. We sat there like idiots waiting for a response. So I took the initiative and decided to continuously say «hello?» More than three times (mind you, I’m sitting in the passenger seat) but she didn’t say Jacksh*t!
After what felt like forever (prolly 5 minutes) She finally asked, «can I take your order?»
I repeated my order and she repeated it back to me as if she had already gotten my order the first time but felt like it wasn’t needed to acknowledge it! Leaving us clueless.
We proceeded to drive to the next window and she was still rude! Yuck! Nasty attitude. Left a bad impression on me. Smh. Next time, I might think twice before coming to this location. /:

If you don’t like tight parking, this is not the place for you. But if you love fries, then this is the place for you as they pack it like they should. You don’t normally see the fries package bursting at the seams. But my photo does not lie. The burger was just okay. I’ve had better McDonald’s burgers. But then their burgers are nothing special. They need to grill the patties, not squeeze them with a flat iron which is what they basically do.
The biggest drawback to this location is that it can get quite noisy. The acoustics of this place is such that noise just bounces around. You can literally hear others’ conversations while you sit to eat your food. I came at the wrong time as two Chinese men spoke loudly the entire meal.
Them there were these shady looking characters, young adults, that hung around not actually dining. Just basically loitering at the table. I felt very uncomfortable so made my dining experience a quick one.
The restroom facility was clean. And the interior was decent albeit kind of old and worn. Be careful when walking down the stairs as you can easily fall if you don’t keep an eye on the bottom one.
I don’t think I’ll be coming here during the evening again.

McDonalds is McDonalds, but compared to others this one is just not the best. Every order of fries I have gotten from here are cold with no salt and they have a tendency to mess up orders.

Was at the bank machine getting money out and after wanted to get a coffee and a breakfast sandwich… but all i heard and saw was a group of women speaking in philippino and not even checking for customers… as i turned to walk away was when i heard someone say, Can i help u… im already out the door…
Poor service with customers u have no job for one, ur in america speak and on the clock, speak english for two, be prepared for customers no matter if the customer is there or not… u don’t know where or when the customers r coming in…

This place is definitely helpful when you want a quick meal or snack! I usually go through the drive thru here to pick up my mom a snack. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had food from here for myself. I used to have it often when I was a kid though.
The parking here is shared with Foodland. The drive can be a little tricky to get into and out of because of how narrow the parking lot is. Service has always been professional and fast. This place is definitely a plus if you’re in a rush.

Tonight, I don’t have a life because I’m actually rating McDonald’s! Who does that? You all know what Micky D’s is all about so what’s the point, but it’s one of my guilty pleasures in life.
I suddenly felt compelled to pay homage to the fast food chain I grew up with.
Let’s cut to the chase and get down and dirty with this cheap thrills and no frills place that has managed to consistently satisfy my most shameful and unhealthiest types of cravings.
I’m an all time sucker for their fries, chicken mcnuggets, and vanilla ice cream on a cone.
And although I live a healthy lifestyle now and don’t frequent this chain as much as I did when I was a kid, I had to pay it my respects on Unilocal.Thanks McDonald’s for all the happy meals and cool collectible toys you gave me along the way as a kid.
I eat cleaner now, but that doesn’t mean I won’t visit you every now and then ;)
P.S.
This branch is pretty busy and in a busy parking lot with cars constantly coming and going. Not my first choice but it’s the one closest to where I live. It’s average at best and customer service is ok, but they have always gotten my orders right during the very few times I’ve been there.

This place is a mad house. No matter where you stand there are bodies waiting to order or waiting for an order. The lines are far from orderly and you just jump in where you see an opening.
I ordered a meal with a strawberry lemonade with light ice. I told the person making it I wanted light ice and that she had put too much in, but she wanted to argue. Needless to say when I got it, it was too much and the ice blocked the strawberries when I was trying to get them out of the cup. I ended up having to dump ice out into a bag in order to get to the strawberries. I know how I like my strawberry lemonade more than they realize.
The meal was your usual fabricated burger and fries. It was hot and as ordered which makes me a happy camper.
Not a McDonald’s at the top of my list, but I’d come back when desperate enough.

Out of all of the McDonald’s I’ve been too, this is the worst. Time after time I repeatedly need to double check my bag when I go through the drive-​thru because they consistently forget things. The other night I had the WORST experience yet.
I had worked all day & i finally got off of work so I decided I wanted some fast ready to go food so I went to McDonald’s! I went through the drive-​thru, paid for my meal, double checked the bag & left. I got home, put on my Netflix & was ready to eat! But wait… I ordered a happy meal chicken mcnuggets & I opened the box to find SAUCE. A sauce that is used on burgers & had no relevancy to CHICKEN MCNUGGETS. There were absolutely no nuggets in there, JUST THIS HORRIBLE SMELLING SAUCE. Needless to say, I was down right pissed off. I called the establishment & started talking to manager Elizabeth. She was no help whatsoever. Being so upset, I wasted more of my time & gas to drive down there because Lord knows I was NOT about to waste $ 5 on this crappy service/​food. I showed Elizabeth what was in the box her employees gave me & all I got was a couple «oh I’m so sorry» while she didn’t even have the decency to look me in the eye while speaking to me. I threw the rest of the food on the table & demanded a refund. I wanted to speak to the person who was responsible for this but no one wanted to own up for it… typical. Psh, pay attention to what you’re doing. I have pictures of this sauce & the managers name so the moral of this story is, NEVER GOING BACK & CORPORATE WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS!

On a norm, this location does great durinf regular hours. Come late night… it’s a nightmare!!! Between 1200−1230am, there’s always a system problem. They only accept cash. NO DEBIT OR CREDIT! Fine… that’s cool… now for my order… I ordered a «Sausage Egg McMuffin» meal with a medium coke. I made it clear that I wanted a sausage «EGG» McMuffin meal. The lady acknowledges it and I proceeded to pay. Once I got home to enjoy my breakfast sandwich, I find it missing the egg!!! Really?! This is the second time it’s happened to me. Is it that hard??? The lady even repeated the order back to me. When I went to pay, I pointed out its a sausage «egg» McMuffin and again she acknowledged. I am pretty disappointed they did not get my order correct! Il
Is it that hard to get the order right??? What’s the challenge here!!!

What baffles me is that management feels like it’s a smart idea to put ROSALINA as a cashier when she moves the pace of a snail… This wouldn’t be so bad if she had not totally pushed me over the edge this morning with her crappy customer service.
I usually end up grabbing breakfast here because it’s down the street from my house and on the way to work; basically the best of both worlds.
This morning was uneventful, I see Rosalina (yet again) as a cashier as the manager/​shift leader apologizes to the line of people that there was no «runner» to help package food orders (no big deal, right?!) But after I ordered I asked Rosalina for a spoon (I ordered a #2 and iced mocha drink), nothing to warrant me asking for a spoon which she made apparent with her slamming the spoon I. my hand, but what she did NOT know is that my coffee drink had whip cream (I hate it with a passion), and instead of asking them to remove it (knowing they were incredibly busy) I thought that I would remove it myself. Thoughtful, no???
Nonetheless, I’ve decided, not worth me wasting my time with crappy service. It a clear you hate your job and hate customer service so do us a favor and quit! Please!

Parking is usually chaotic.
Even with a second floor dining area it’s hard to find somewhere to sit.
Drive-​thru service is terrible! They forget stuff over and over and over… I think I’ll just drive a few blocks down to jack in a box instead!

I was so grossed out that I had to leave before ordering. My daughter had to use the bathroom, so we went upstairs. We had to wait as the 2 stalls were occupied. When the door to one of the stalls opened, it was a worker. She was texting on her phone as she came out. She walked past us and left the bathroom. I was kind of shocked that she didn’t even wash her hands! But I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that MAYBE she was leaving and MAYBE she was just in the stall using her phone, not actually using the toilet. So, we come back downstairs to order, and what do I see? That same worker who came out of the bathroom without washing her hands grabbing fries!!! Nope, no way. We left.

As with all fast food chain reviews, this one is based on location and service as opposed to the quality/​taste of food. Because this is a chain restaurant, food should be consistent everywhere you go. So with that said, onward with the review.
Visited here and immediately noticed that it’s similar to the McDonald’s on Nimitz (sans the renovations). The layout of ordering and the dining room (most seats are upstairs) is practically the same with these two locations.
Pros:
–Short drive to Kuakini Hospital. So if you have a loved one or a friend that is there, and you don’t want to eat hospital food, you could drive a short distance.
–They got our order correct
–Fairly fast & efficient
Cons:
–During peak breakfast/​lunch hours, line could get confusing and snake out the door.
–Parking is shared with Foodland, which could get crowded and make parking a hassle.
–Dining area is worn and old. Some questionable smells in the dining area.

These guys got my order wrong again! 3x in one week this is unbelievable. It’s 1200 AM and its not busy so I don’t know what they are doing back there but its definitely not working!

When you go to a McDonald’s, you expect the same standard food and service. I think this location is different because of the atmosphere and clientele.
I’m very sensitive to smells. This location seems to have a stale food smell or possibly it’s from the customers. It was quite crowded in the afternoon — there was a lot of energy at this busy location. I thought that there may be an AA or NA meeting near the elevator. I was too afraid to check, but I had to pass the group because they were almost blocking the way.
Upstairs, the elderly Asian men were seated in clumps. I felt self-​conscious wearing shorts. I walked quickly to the restroom which was pretty clean and very convenient. I ran outside to the fresh air, not wanting to stay and order anything…

The School Street location is one that I have frequented many times just because it’s close to my home.
The parking here is awful. It is very small and cramp. Competes with Foodland shoppers and the drivers here tend to be aggressive. Not to mention, the entrance to the drive-​thru is very narrow and many times you see people backing-​up their cars just to get thru!!!
It’s hard to define «normal» people but for some reason the patrons (as well as some of the working staff) here are «unique». Because of the drive-​thru hassle I just usually park my car (and it’s okay if I have to walk across from the other side of the lot just to come here), order my food, double-​check my change as well as my food before I leave. I learn not to trust anymore as several times my order was wrong and didn’t notice it until I got home.
I just come here for the convenience. Especially when I get hungry after dinner and need to satisfy my hunger before going to bed.
NOTE:
(1) The dining on the 2^nd floor is very spacious. Because of heavy foot traffic and turnover of tables, I think the staff here try their best to clean the tables but do to some bad experiences I don’t like to dine-​in here.
(2) Don’t be surprised when the counter staff here give you that «lost» look as some of them get flustered as this place gets really busy. I just focus on getting my order in, getting back the correct change and no mess ups on my food.
