Mio’s Salon

this will be my go-​to shop from now on. Really friendly people, mio does the job… And she does it well. I got a skin fade w/​design for $ 20!!! I enjoyed my experience and I’m sure anyone who goes here will…

Fantastic place! Mio takes the time to ensure that the customer gets what they want and are satisfied with their hair – no matter how long it takes! For $ 15 for a men’s hair styling, it is certainly economical and value-​packed. Highly recommend. The only downside is that she does not yet accept credit/​debit cards, only cash.

Don’t you just hate getting a haircut and then you ask them to take two inches off & they take off like 5 instead? Because I do. Thankfully, Salon Mio isn’t like that at all.
She’s one of the best people to go to for a haircut. She listens to you, so for sure if you say two inches, she’ll cut and ask you if that’s a good length. She works with you as you get your hair cut and she’s also really funny so the hair cut goes by really fast because you’ve got a good conversation going.
The salon is open till 8 which is convenient and it does get busy so calling ahead helps.
She has two dogs and they’re so adorable but if you’re uncomfortable with them, she’ll be glad to put them in the back.
The salon is new and she came from what was formerly called, «Diane’s salon» by island BBQ? But Mio branched out and started her own salon. She’s really popular when it comes guy haircuts and she knows her stuff, like if the haircut matches your head /​face shape. lol. But I mean really, she’s good at her job but the hair cuts are really affordable. The interior is really clean, I see her constantly sweep around and all her furniture is new. (I’m here often because my brother is a regular here, although I do get my occasional trim here as well)
