Mr Gyros

This stand is located inside the NEX by the airport. They have one inside on the 2^nd floor where food court is and another one right out in front of the NEX. I love their beef and lamb gyro! It comes with lettuce, red onion and tomato wrapped in toasted pita bread. You must order this with their spicy sauce! Everything just goes so well together. Great on the go meal in a wrap and not to mention healthier option!

I normally get a chicken or beef/​lamb plate all the time… the meats are always warm and tender and the Greek salad that comes with it is fresh with cucumbers, onions, and feta cheese. Plates also come with a warm pita for $ 9.25 plus tax. If you like it a little spicy ask for the spicy sauce. :)

Wrap was made fresh but the chicken seemed more like generic or imitation chicken! I was really disappointed!

Yum!!! I love Greek food but didn’t know what to expect from a little kiosk on the side of the food court inside NEX. It was delicious!!! I got the beef/​lamb salad, which is basically a Greek salad with the meat. The meat is so tender and tasty, the feta cheese was perfect, and they even have spicy txatziki sauce (or regular) which makes everything even more amazing. Not a bad price either. I will definitely be a regular here!

Good food, fast service, hardly ever a line. Only $ 7.50 for a beef, lamb, or chicken gyro (Greeks pronounce it as YOUR-​OH). Located in on the second floor of the NEX

A great CHEAP EAT! The gyros are cheap and tasty. A great alternative to the usual greasy burger. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different at an afordable price.

Probably the cheapest yet great tasting thing to eat in the NEX food court. $ 7 gyros are hard to come by. Everything else in the food court is overpriced and plain.

I ate here today to take a break while getting my shopping on at the Nex Pearl Harbor. They have two locations here, one outside on the patio and one on the 2^nd level food court. I prefer the inside A/​C on hot muggy days even though it’s quite noisy and packed with people. I enjoy the Greek salad with lamb. The veggies are all fresh and crispy while the lamb is warm and tender. They also offer a spicy sauce which is my favorite. The 2 employees working did a great job moving people thru while preparing the food as it should be. Mahalo Mr. Gyros for Ms. Shopper’s great lunch!

Haven’t been here in a couple years, but finally made it a point to stop by today. They never let me down… The service and food is always awesome! Hope they open a stand somewhere between Mililani-​Haleiwa ;)

I was lucky today. Every time I go to this food court mr. gyro always seems to be closed. I was craving a Greek chicken salad. I placed my order and waited less then 3 minutes. I had my tzaski dressing on the side. I opened my container and there were a few olives, sprinkle of feta, 3 slices of cucumber, tomatoes, strands of onions, and some sad looking pieces of chicken. I hope it tastes better then what it looks like I thought. I dipped the chicken in the dressing and forked some olive and onion together to put into my mouth. The flavors were there, but the chicken did not seem fresh. Almost like the chicken strips offered at subway. The feta was scarce, but the dressing was indeed good. The lettuce could have been better as some pieces were watery. I would go back to try their gyros though, and douse that awesome dressing on top.

CLOSED AGAIN
Tried to get my fiancé (pregnant btw) some Gyros and garlic fries today at around 1430 (230pm) to my surprise «Mr Gyro» was closed! With a sign that said «Closed be back later!»
Mind you… this isn’t the first time… I’ve tried to get food at this NEX kiosk «Mr Gyro» location!
So now I’m stuck driving back through west bound TRAFFIC and already fed up with this place. I haven’t even had the chance to get my girl her «pregnant» food cravings.

I’ve been going here for years and I’ve always loved their beef and lamb gyros. The owner is very nice and the staff is friendly. I’ve tried the beef and lamb gyros, plates and salads. No complaints except maybe more meat in the salads. But I really enjoy the beef and lamb so that’s my personal preference. There are two location at the nex, a spot outside the entrance of the nex and upstairs in the food court. It is open to everyone, not just military. Highly recommend checking them out and if you like a little kick, get it with the spicy sauce. :)

We really love coming here especially when we are out shopping. Today we came and they were closed :(but the girl then said she would still make our salads: D (wooooohoooooooooo). She really hooked us up even though it was closing time. We always get the #8 (beef/​lamb plate). The freshness of the lettuce and tomatoes are so delicious. The meat is always so yummy and I’m not a fan of anything else but chicken, but surprisingly here I love the lamb. If you are looking for something quick, fresh and healthy THIS is it!

Good stuff right here! I’ve had many gyros and this spot is right on. The bread can be a hit or miss but the meat and the sauce are yummy!

This place is so good! When I’m watching my carbs I get a salad with gyro meat and spicy sauce. The lettuce and veggies are always fresh. It’s delish. Everything else is awesome, too. Pitas and hummus, gyros, gyro plates… I could eat here every day.

I dig this place. Good solid offerings and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Even though it’s just a food court, one of them actually walked over to my table to check if everything was okay.

I’m going to give this place the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately I still have to go with the two star.
I ordered the greek salad with gyro meat (which I’m not sure if that constitutes a platter or not… but that’s not the issue). The meat was cut a bit thick for my liking and was extremely salty. I also found the taziki sauce to be very bland and lacking in flavor. And my lettuce was brown and wilted.

It is very difficult to screw up Greek food, yet I have seen it done before, where the meat soaks through the pita or everything is incredibly dry or small portioned. not this place. this place is amazing!!!
Whenever I am craving some pita deliciousness, I head to Mr Gyros. I’m happy for the owner for moving off base into the NEX food court, where the public can enjoy his amazing kabobs.
Minus one star for not having falafels. Cmon, Please add those to your menu.
Otherwise, I always order their kabobs. They come with tahini, lettuce, onion, and tomato. It’s incredibly filling, but is a perfect portion for either man or woman. It fills me up a little, and the guys always feel satisfied when paired with a side like chips or baklava.
If you’re going to head to a foot court, why settle for chain restaurants? Enjoy the small kiosks run by local families.
