I don’t really go to Ninja Sushi often as my go to sushi place but I did check it out one time at this location which is the airport business center location right on Paiea St. It is also surrounded by other familiar businesses and shops like Jamba Juice and Starbucks. They have a lot of parking in the area. If you drive and park in the area, it is two hours free with validation so don’t forget to ask for your validation before you leave. They have a lot of sushis that they have on the menu. I got the special that they had one time which is the 3 piece Mirugai and it was pretty good. The prices for everything is pretty decent. The staff and customer service is pretty good too. They have a decent amount of table and seating area should you decide to stay and dine in the shop. Other than sushi they also have other more meal kind of options like bowls and bentos and stuff. I am not really a sushi person but if you like your sushi a little more sophisticated then they have a good selection as well.

The must try is the ninja pack 2 with Salad and Spicy Ahi! Most satisfying and not to heavy meal. Second most favorite is the Superman! They add just the right amount of flavor. Workers are very fast and give great service to every customer dine in or take out.

These guys are life savers ;) They work on Christmas Day when everyone else is closed. Delicious sushi made with fresh fish, clean place and nice stuff — they made our day. Thank you!

Courteous staff and helped accommodate vegetarian request. A fast food type setting that is close to the airport and had great selection!

The food wasn’t fresh at all. I asked the cashier if it was he basically told me that he doesn’t know… which is lazy for«I don’t really feel like finding out». And the spicy mayonnaise tasted weird. All and all this place was crap. Don’t get me wrong if your in a hurry to eat this is the perfect place to go. We ordered our tempura… sat down and not even 3 minutes later our food was ready… our horrible… not fresh tempura… yuck. waste of $ 9.

I decided to try Ninja Sushi again as it’s the only close sushi place near my house and I’m not driving to Aiea during evening rush hour. I tried the Hawaiian Maki this time. I thought it was much better than the roll I had at the Waipahu location. There was only one other person in the restaurant. They made it within a few minutes. They have a free validated parking lot. You just get a validation sticker and it’s free for 2 hours of parking.

Basic sushi for more money… it like they want you to get the combo or platter… great location… service is good…

A small place with big selection and bigger flavor. Had the tornado roll, spicy ahi and garlic yellow fin and they were all great. Give these folks a try if your in the airport area. If I lived here, I can easily see this being my go to sushi place. The place is clean and the staff friendly, so why not?

This is my go to place for sushi before I head back to the airport in Honolulu. The prices are more than Aloha Sushi, but the quality of the fish is better. I usually get the Salmon Lover and a few handrolls to go, and I’m set. Parking is easy as it is in a big strip mall with pizza and other dining options(Jamba Juice and Starbucks). They even have kids bentos which my mom really likes to get. Overall, fast service, decent prices, and they pack everything up nicely, so I can’t complain.

Ninja Sushi is pretty good been here a few times now and everything was as ordered tasted fresh and was very good. I just wish they’d put the wasabi inside the rolls as I’m used to it that way!!! Try it prices aren’t too bad a little higher than down the street but not bad for sushi!

Came here on a weekday night to get my sushi fix. I read in some reviews the service(cashier) ain’t that great, but I received fast and friendly service. The interior has recently been remodeled so everything was clean. I ordered the tiger roll– breaded shrimp, cucumber, and imitation crab roll topped with spicy ahi, tobikko, green onion and sauces. I liked the roll, but the spicy ahi isn’t really spicy and they use a lot of rice. I also ordered maguro nigiri and salmon nigiri. The quality and taste was that expected of a fast food sushi place. I’ll probably come back since it’s located close to where I live, nothing tasted bad, and the service was quick.

For me, Ninja Sushi is all about the maki. I might get a udon noodle on the side, but I really came for those rolls. Most maki have either a california roll or spicy ahi as a base, but they also have shrimp tempura, salmon, and soft shell crab, the variations come from what you get on top. Good quality fast food, take out sushi, made to order, so call ahead to avoid the wait during peak periods.

Need a quick Sushi fix by the Airport? Located in the AIPA Shopping Plaza, it’s convenient & fairly fast @ orders, however be prepared for the daily lunch surge. They recently remodeled the inside dining room. It’s small w/a capacity of maybe 30 people max, but looks great & there’s always outside seating around Starbucks or down the hall near Korean BBQ.

no takoyaki today :(but sushi is always good here. I got the T dragon today and it’s starting to head to the top of the list for my favs. I used to get the superman all the time but I tried changing it up and I really like this one. Takoyaki is my absolute fav though.

Came here for a quick lunch which came out way quicker than it should. I’m not complaining but more surprised if anything. There was a super long line and after we ordered and sat down, the food was already out. I had the spicy ahi bento which came with spicy ahi over rice, nigiri sushi and some pickled cucumbers. The highlight of this bento was the pickled cucumbers. That’s pretty bad. The ahi didn’t even resemble ahi anymore and it was more shredded fish — if it was even fish lol. The nigiri wasn’t really edible and the 2nd best part was the tamago. I might try something else before I make a real decision about this place but so far, it’s not a destination spot for me.

I come here for lunch at least 3 days a week. Maybe it’s because I’m a regular but the staff are always really nice and fast. I would give five stars, and the fish is really good and fresh, but it’s just not a high class sushi joint. I feel like it’s the healthiest option in the airport area and that’s the main reason I go here. One thing I really do like is that it’s right next to a Jamba Juice and a Starbucks.

The sushi was very good. I had the dragon and she had tempura shrimp with come sushi. Menu has a huge selection, which is great. We didn’t care for the dirty walls(pictures attached) because a failure to notice or fix thiz means shortcuts might occur elsewhere. We hope not because the food was great. Hard tile under the table is recommended… Easily washable.

On nights that I don’t feel like cooking, and I want to wallow on my couch in misery either about my bad day at work our about the fact that I didn’t go anywhere better for sushi, this place adequately hits the spot for a sushi craving. I have never dined in here, and have always grabbed take out, but they have quite a few seats for those who want to dine in, and I always see people enjoying their meals. The menu is pretty expansive and they offer everything from bentos to poke bowls to donburis to maki and more. They also offer mochi ice cream and other treats if that’s what floats your boat. The prices are pretty reasonable and the size of the rolls are pretty hefty so you don’t need more than about two rolls to fill you up. My favorites are usually the Superman and the Spicy Ahi Negris which I could pop like little donuts(which is not a good thing). This is definitely not top notch sushi, but its fresh, will not have you spending the night praying to the porcelain god, and a good option instead of ordering pizza and having the lady look at you like«oh you again?»

I’ve been coming here for years, mainly because it’s the most convenient Ninja Sushi location for me. The sushi’s good for a fast food type sushi restaurant and the service is usually good. PROS: +Birthday Club: You receive a $ 10 gift certificate on your birthday month when you sign up. +Good Sushi, good selection CONS: –Small portions –Customer service is inconsistent(most times good but there are a few employees who are not very approachable and aren’t that friendly) –Pricey(most popular maki items are around $ 9 FAVORITES: +Superman maki +Tako Yaki +Poke Bento TIPS: +Call your order in if you’re planning to go during lunch. The line can get long during lunch and there usually aren’t enough tables and chairs for everyone during that time. +Try the Superman! If I had written this review a couple of years ago, I would’ve gave them 4 stars for sure. The level of customer service has gone down over the years, which is why I’m giving them 3 stars. They used to have their«regular» employees who gave great customer service and took pride and ownership in the business. They still employ those individuals but they’ve also hired a couple of new employees who are not very keen in the customer service area. There’s a young man who will barely make eye contact, doesn’t smile, barely acknowledges the customers and doesn’t thank anyone. Their food isn’t bad so I tolerate this decreased customer service level and Ninja Sushi continues to be popular for many airport area employees.

Customer service: awesome. Someone took my order and when I asked the girl at the cash register she realized the mistake and quickly remedied the situation. It is always nice to be treated like an important customer especially at a place that could easily dismiss me. Food: My standard order is the Superman roll, which is a large California roll topped with spicy ahi and crispy bits of wonderfulness. The added crunch adds a nice layer of flavor to the roll. In short, yummy place for a quick sushi fix.
