Organic Shaved Ice Ha’aha’a

Had their shave ice twice so far. Both times I’ve gotten the strawberries n’ cream shave ice and have been satisfied. Tastes really fresh and not overly sweet. Definitely a must try!
I have also tasted the kulolo shave ice with was a special flavor for the HNL night market Mamo night. The beginning was yummy because it was topped with actual pieces of kulolo but when my friend reached the middle the kulolo taste had completely faded.

Their lilikoi shaved ice is a staple of mines! I absolutely love it! I get them at the Pearlridge Farmers Market every time I go!

I found this shaved ice vender when my honey told me about it after our hibiscus half run. He thought it was included as one of the free snacks. It was not and they only took cash which he did not have. Luckily I stuffed some in my back pocket of my running shorts. There was a huge line and the portions given as I looked at everyone passing by me was generous. The prices range from 6.50 to 15 bucks. Now if I had more then 15 bucks we probably would’ve gotten the hat. Anyway I gave my order of a mango shaved ice with condensed milk and a lime pie for hubby. The gentleman writing the order down gave us a coupon BOGO starting in June at their establishment opening in Honolulu. SWEET! Well we waited patiently about 15 minutes till we were given our shaved ice. The fact that they use real fruits and their ingredients are organic is an A+ from me. I dug into my mango and I could taste the authentic flavors of a fruit that originated from a non sprayed tree. The condensed milk was sweet and thick. There was bit and pieces of mango incorporated in the syrup. The ice was soft, cold, and finely shaved. It was topped off with a small piece of fresh mint. Nice presentation. I watched the workers making the dessert for each customer and their attention to detail for each one was divine. I believe this is a new business which is local and in need of support. So everyone out there try some delicious organic shaved ice!!!
