Came here tonight with the parents in town visiting. Wanted something different to eat. Garrett was our waiter and was phenomenal. Great service and everything was delicious. Definitely will be back! Everything was great! Food came out quick and hot. Happy hour prices are great! Drinks were amazing and everyone really enjoyed themselves!

I usually am a big fan of PF Changs, but I was less than impressed with the food and service on our visit at this particular location. The food seemed a little bland on this visit but was otherwise fine. our service, however, was unacceptable. First of all, we had come in during off hours so it was not very busy, there were 2 – 3 other tables in his area that he was responsible for during our stay, and they were both small groups of 2 and 3 ppl at each table. He took our order and after a considerable wait he finally came out with a coke and water for us to drink, we hardly saw him at all after that. Another worker brought out our food, we ate, and sat there with empty drinks and no signs of our server for about 15 minutes. I noticed the patrons at the table next to us also waiting around with empty drinks. I was about to walk up to the bar myself and ask for a drink and our bill when he finally emerged from the back and provided us with a refill without so much as a word. We hardly heard so much as a peep from our bald, bushy bearded server until check time came, at which time it seemed like a switch had been flipped and he started with the pleasantries and small talk. I was wondering why the sudden change in attitude until I looked at the bill and saw he had circled the area of the bill with recommended tip amounts. How tacky, unfortunately two minutes of charm at the end of a visit does not erase an entire meal of horrible service. While we were waiting for our bill to be rung up, i noticed him stop the hostess and complain that she was not giving him enough tables. I feel like the service for the patrons in our area was shotty enough, I can’t imagine if there was another table of people. Perhaps if he would have actually come out of the back and checked on his customers, he could’ve cleared his tables a little quicker and more customers could’ve been seated in his area. Maybe try working on upping the service game and the tips will be better so you won’t have to worry about table quantity so much.

Food quality is the same as any other location. However, their prices are way higher than any other location plus they try to trick you. If you take a look at the menu that they have outside the restaurant while you are waiting, the prices on that menu are cheaper than the actual menu that you receive inside. Not sure about this being very legal but it’s definitely shady. I won’t be back at this particular location.

Our waiter was really friendly and the free app with Unilocal check-in was a nice surprise, but holy sodium! I’m not one to complain about too much salt in my food, but my beef and broccoli was nearly inedible. And to add insult to injury, it was $ 20…a little much(especially with the crappy Canadian dollar right now, which means I’m paying almost $ 30). However, the beef was very tender. A lot better quality meat than what I am used to at the Chinese food places I frequent in T.O. My Dad got the«Dan Dan noodles» and said it was also very salty, and not authentic. The lettuce wraps are supposedly quite popular. My dad enjoyed them, I thought they were«meh». The calamari was weird. All in all, not that impressed. Third star goes to our server and the free app with check-in.

If You been to one you been to all! It’s a chain restaurant, so the food taste almost the same. The only thing about this location is that they do not have a lunch menu. It’s dinner price but not dinner size. On the mainland, the dinner portions are much bigger like family style to share for two. Thank goodness hubby and I don’t eat a lot and was able to share this small cute meal. Mongolian beef was tender & good with the nice added touch of scallions.

Food was just ok, it was nice enough. We got three starters: dumplings, crab wontons, egg rolls, and one entrée the sweet and sour pork. I also had an egg drop soup on the side. We shared everything and it was the perfect amount of food for two. The dumplings and wontons came out lukewarm so were cold before we could finish the dishes. The dumplings were awesome but horrible cold. The crab egg rolls were nice but super greasy and I didn’t like the sauce it came with, I used the sauce from the crab wontons and that was better. The sweet and sour pork had good flavour and meat was tender, but the coating on the meat was a touch soggy and there were big chunks of pickled ginger we weren’t a fan of. Save room for dessert and get the banana spring rolls! Recommended by our server and soooooo good. Four stars because service was excellent. Our server was efficient, so lovely, and had great banter. I would go again and try some different dishes.

Nice environment, Americanized Chinese food, they tasted good. However, very expensive, but Unilocal give your free appetizer when you check in, and order two entries. The drinks are also very expensive. A Mai Thai cost over $ 11 dollars, and they justify the price by give you an insulated cup with the alcohol drink, that your can take home. It was not worth the trouble to take the cups home. We ordered combo fried rice, ginger chicken with broccoli, and then the calamari was the free appetizer. As far as the free appetizer goes, we kind of had to «fight for it.» The server stated that we must get the chicken lettuce wrap as our Free appetizer. But no where did the Unilocal offer said it must be that appetizer. The server said that he had to ask the manager, and eventually gave us what we wanted. It was a struggle to get what we wanted. If it wasn’t for Paintnite, we would not come to PF chang’s, we knew it was going to be over priced, and unauthentic food. But it was acceptable.

had dinner last night(jan. 1. 2016). very good. very fast. very noisy.(upstairs, busy). beef & broc. & sweet & sour, 2 bowls of steam rice, 3 glass of wine. came to $ 65. not too bad. food was very good, but a little on the cool side. Service was excellent, for such a busy place. Will go again, but, there are lots of great Asian restaurants in Waikiki.

We came here with a family group of 9 on a Saturday during the Christmas swarm. We had a reservation that I made by directly emailing with the sales director for 6:30 pm. Once we were all assembled we were given a slip, sent upstairs and seated right away. The place was very busy with large groups but our server came by promptly and took drink orders which were delivered to the table without delay. We ordered some appetizers which also came out post haste. Food wise –things were pretty much the same as every other restaurants in the chain-decent quality and selection. The most noticeable thing about our visit was weak service team and lack of coordination. Once we placed our order, the food(sweet/sour chicken, curry chicken, sesame chicken, spring rolls and beef/broccoli) showed up in under 15 minutes-very fast-delivered by a team of runners. But we sat there for several minutes without plates. Eventually we got up and grabbed our own from the stack at the servers station. It was quite a while before we saw our server again. Perhaps our waiter was new, overwhelmed or just too busy but the service at this location during the hectic Christmas week late on a Saturday wasn’t what I’ve e oriented elsewhere in the chain. The kitchen was too fast for the servers.

Go see Kimberly in the bar. What a fun, friendly bartender who takes good care of you! The food is consistent and the restaurant is always busy(reservations recommended for dinner). This is a large restaurant with an upstairs area and a good bar with a lot of space and TVs. It is almost always busy, if not packed, and the wait can be quite long at times Go have a cold drink on a hot day and let these awesome bartenders take great care of you. They will!

***Update added*** I was so disappointed in the take out order my housemate and I got the other day. What a waste of money! I can’t believe I spent $ 36 on burnt tasting lettuce wraps and dry non-crispy honey chicken. I’ve had P.F. Chang’s before, inside of the restaurant and those are two normal things I order. But then again, I haven’t sat inside of their restaurant in a couple of years so perhaps this is just how untasteful their food is these days. I am hoping it is just a one time flaw and that it won’t happen again. P. F. Chang’s is one of my favorites and I am so disappointed to have had such a terrible experience. However I will say customer service was spot on, the girl who took our order, I wish I had gotten her name, she was awesome. She seemed efficient and genuinely friendly. She got our orders correct and we paid quickly and left. I will hopefully revise my rating of them later… if another experience is given. Now I’m nervous to even order anything from here, much less eat inside the restaurant itself. *** I have to update my post to say that my experience sitting down at P. F. Chang’s was pleasantly memorable. Our waiter Mark was phenomenal. He perfectly paced out the time he came to check on us, the food, and when to bring us water. Amazing service! I brought them up to 3 stars because of my experience. I might rethink it and choose to go 4. But I haven’t tried take out again so we shall see. My friends and I got there during happy hour and took advantage of their appetizers. We got the pork dumplings, dynamite chicken, crispy green beans, and crab wontons. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken. Everything was superbly made. I was impressed the chicken was not mush or dry. Like the crispy honey chicken I had ordered for take out was. I was afraid to order the lettuce wraps… I think I may be scarred for life for that item but we shall see if I will brave it again. We loved the sauce(and I’m not the type of girl that cares for much sauce on anything) for the crab wontons. The crispy green beans appetizer was massive and we didn’t finish those. The pan fried pork dumplings were perfect combination of flavors. We used the crab wonton sauce for the green beans and pork dumplings… yes we loved it that much. The dynamite shrimp was nearly too much for us. But with rice it was made easier. For dessert I coupled it with pineapple coconut ice cream from Dave’s, which our awesome waiter Mark went to find out for us. One of my friends got their version of banana lumpia there was fruits and the same ice cream on her plate. It was perfectly balanced. I again thank Dana for sending me the certificates and I am happy that I got to share my amazing experience with my friends. Dana, I will try take out next, and I hope with that experience it bumps up to 5 stars. Which is what I would’ve given years ago if I had kept up with my Unilocal reviews. I also have to say get Mark as your waiter, he answered all of our silly questions about the menu, including where the ice cream came from, what he liked best, and actually gave us honest opinions. Some waiters/waitresses don’t do that… or they lie about it. I wish I could give 3.5 stars as I’m not ready to give 4 yet as I didn’t get the lettuce wraps or crispy honey chicken that I had in my takeout order. Where I had rated this restaurant with 2 stars.***

Two words: Happy hour! PF Chang’s is the spot in Waikiki for Happy hour. They have specialty drink specials, beer specials, and appetizer specials. Happy hour is 4p-6p, and it’s usually not crowded if you sit upstairs. Personally I like to eat upstairs outside on the lanai. It’s covered and cool, and not right on the sidewalk. When hubs and I go to PF Changs, we totally go for the happy hour, and all the happy hour apps, and it’s enough to fill us up, and doesn’t break the bank. The last time we were there, we had a total of 5 drinks and 4 appetizers from the happy hour menu, and walked away with a bill of $ 54. Seriously?! In Waikiki? Unheard of… and totally amazing! Service is always fast, as if they already have your food ready for you before you know what you want to eat. Food isn’t authentic Chinese, it’s American-Chinese fusion, and if you haven’t already tried it, you must order the lettuce wraps. If you want to watch a game, they usually have it downstairs in the bar area, and they also have regular seating areas downstairs, but I don’t like people watching me while I eat, so upstairs it is. Upstairs is more chill, and a little more restaurant-like than downstairs. If you are doing meals outside of HH, food is served family style, and if you check in on Unilocal, there are discounts or a free app – just for being a good Unilocaler!

Our 2nd visit here this week. We had a family birthday dinner on Sunday and really enjoyed the entrees we had; the steamed Asian style Chilean sea bass and the lemon grass mahimahi with cilantro rice were so good we really wanted to have them again. Tonite after a day of shopping at Ala Moana we were going to go to Chai’s but they were booked till 8pm so decided to go back to PF Chang’s. The food again was just as great as the first time. The reason for rating only 3 stars was the service was okay but definitely could use improvement. To start, I ordered a Kettle One on the rocks with a lemon twist but it came with a lime wedge! I told my server it was wrong so he brought me a twist from the bar and left me to put it in myself. I used the Unilocal check in and got a free appetizer so I showed that to my server and ordered the seared ahi. The ahi was great but it was charged on my bill so I had to have the server take it off. In between the service wasn’t slow, just a bit inattentive. Overall, food was an A– and the service was a C– but I would still go back.

Visited Tonight while trying to escape the crowd and get some air. We ordered the PF Chang Sushi and the pork dumplings. Both were pretty tasty and hit the spot. My only complaint would be that the service was a little slow, and we had to wait quite a while for our check. Other that that the food and drinks were great. Very fun atmosphere in here tonight!

It was my first time here, and I must say… Lettuce wraps are on point! What’s so awesome is that they have the check in deal. If you check in, you get a free appetizer! Give it a try, lettuce wrap will not upset you. At first, the plan was to go yard house. Upon reading yard house reviews, my other half and I decided to walk over to Pf chang’s. The service here is fair, nothing about our waitress really impressed me. She was good at giving recommendations, but I guess when I eat out, I have high expectations when it comes to service. We decided to go for the dinner for two. I found that it was an awesome price for two people, I believe we spent 60 bucks for the price of two, which seems reasonable for the amount of food we got. We started off with soup, the Bird nest soup is yummy! As well as the spicy soup, it will not fail you. We decided to have honey shrimp and spicy chicken. They were bout yum yum! As for the dessert, we had ice cream. I had a mango yogurt while my other half had a pineapple coconut ice cream. If I were you and you are reading his right now to see what type of dessert you should get… I highly suggest the pineapple coconut ice cream! Definitely a must

I rate 2 stars based of pricing and taste. I’m picky when I have to pay top dollars for my food. The lettuce wrap has average seasoning over the meat. In my opinion the dish needs a little more salt to emphasize the meat and compliment the freshness of the lettuce. We ordered the ginger chicken and shrimp walnut because the kids can’t eat spicy. I have an issue with the shrimp walnut dish. The taste doesn’t compliment the ingredients. The melon is not sweet and was too bulky. In Chinese cuisine, it all about texture and taste. Because of the big ball of mellon and the crunchy small shrimp, you just can’t combine both in a bite create the wow effect or twist to the dish. I think they need to take the fried rice noodle from the lettuce wrap for this dish and ditch the melon and just a little more soury on the mayonnaise to highlight a seafood dish. The fried banana desert came with a dead mint leave(sad!). But the taste and temperature were just right. This saved the day…

Bottom Line: This place is like a fancy Panda Express. So we were given a $ 50GC to this place for Christmas last year. Silly me, I thought they were in Ala Moana but I guess that location closed a while back(goes to show you how much I avoid town side). So this past Labor Day we decided to get a sitter and have a lunch date. We showed up around 1200 and surprisingly they were not that busy. We were seated immediately at one of their inside booths. We waited for our server and then ordered our drinks when he came by. I got a strawberry lemonade in a keepsake cup. I tried to get just a glass of it, because let’s face it, no one really wants yet another cup in their kitchen, but the server said they only sell it in the $ 9 cup. Mind you, it only comes with ONEREFILL. In that time, I began perspiring profusely. I know it’s been humid, but it felt like the AC was off. We asked to be seated outside where it was much cooler with the trade winds, although I think it messed up our server as he was rarely seen. We used our Unilocal check in to get the free appetizer, although if you like soup and dessert the meal for two at $ 57 might be the better option for you just know that you can’t use the free Unilocal appetizer with it. For our free appetizer, we got the lettuce wraps that everyone raved about. I was a little skeptical, but it was actually super good. I really enjoyed the crisp lettuce with the saltiness of the chicken mixture. My husband though, said it tasted like leftovers thrown together. I ordered the Crispy Honey Shrimp based off another Unilocalers review of the chicken version and my husband got the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Our entrees came with a small bowl each of Chinese style rice, not sticky rice. I should have known, but still I was disappointed. The shrimp though, was on point!!! I liked how you could taste the shrimp, indicating its freshness. The batter was light, not too greasy, and the sauce was sweet but not overpowering. If you like the honey walnut shrimp from Pandas, you will like this because it taste very similar but better. The sweet and sour chicken, I did not care for. While it was the juiciest ss chicken I have had, I did not like the sauce and preferred my veggies a little more cooked. The sauce was… I don’t know… bland but with a tart bite? It just was not anything like what you associate sweet and sour with, whether tradition or Panda style. The veggies were raw. I mean, like chopped up, tossed with the sauce and chicken and put on a plate. I like crunch to my veggies, but I don’t like it raw like that. Like I had mentioned before, we rarely saw our server. And when we did, he wasn’t as friendly as expected for a higher scale Waikiki restaurant’s server. I had to track him down to get more free lettuce cups, and more than once did our drinks go empty. But funny when I asked for our check, his tone changed, and became friendly and even tried to get me a second«unauthorized» refill on my lemonade. He made sure we enjoyed our meal, which in my experience as a server and customer you always ask them this shortly after getting their food. Lame dude. The bill comes with a convenient little tool telling you how much to give as a tip, starting at 15%. Our server took the time to highlight that gratuity was not included. I decided to give him a little over 15% even though I really felt like he didn’t do his part to deserve it. But he did get me that extra refill… lol. For the appetizer, two entrees, a drink, and my $ 9 refillable cup our total came out to $ 54 with tax. Not bad I suppose as we were both stuffed. It’s the wraps that are so filling, I think. Before leaving we got our parking validated which gave us an hour free, so parking was only $ 2. Bottom Line: I enjoyed the food here, but it wasn’t spectacular. It really is just a fancier version of Panda’s food. My service was pretty crappy. The location for me sucked. This is not some place that a local girl like me would frequent. But if I got a GC again, I would probably come back here and not re-gift it.

Located in the heart of Waikiki. PF Chang’s, like every restaurant in Waikiki is busy, and with it being in a tourist location, it is also expensive. Ambiance is good; they have available in and outside settings. Their greets are pleasant and nice while the servers try to be as courteous, it can be a little challenging being so busy. Although they get pretty reasonable tips just because it’ll automatically dictate how much customers should tip on the bill. Food. Food is okay. Other than their wraps, I would like to compare their food to the frozen Chinese boxed food available in the grocery store. Nothing special about their food, in addition with it being overpriced. I do not recommend this place; for a real«tourist» experience, try the Sicilian place next door or something else that’s not common in your state, or country!

Two words: Lettuce Wraps. This is must get here and what is even more phenomenal than that? FREE lettuce wraps! That’s right, with a check-in here you get one free appetizer! So why not use it for the most delicious one they offer? Ok now that I am done sounding like a commercial, let me just say this is such a great place to go eat at. Along with fantastic service, yummy drinks, delicious lettuce wraps and finger licking entrees(we got the orange chicken with white rice and the ginger chicken with brown rice) and dessert, there is no doubt why this place has such great reviews. You also get a free cup when you order a drink! This place has a great view too. When we sat at the booth we were overlooking the Waikiki torches. It is a great date night restaurant!
