It’s Pizza HUT. If you don’t know what the food is like, then you are either not a college student or have never lived in America for very long. It is a keiki favorite for birthday parties and last resort for those who are hungry that plan too late for anything else– sometimes I too am guilty. Though there is basically no seating here– it is one of the most beautiful places to order a pizza and sit by the ocean. After a long day at work, it is super relaxing to just eat a comfort food pizza on a park bench table near the ocean water waves gently ebbing and flowing while seeing passing by infrequent boats passing by — not having to think for a while, and insert joke here, if I wasn’t thinking about what to order before ’ I’m not thinking about what I am eating now as I have pizza hut breadsticks and a slice of a bacon Big New Yorker in hand. With things on Hawaii Kai side– it is less crowded than places in Honolulu — so there is a plus in that there are usually not long lines. Honolulu side places should really have this much open room to order and wait — but here there is plenty of room. Staff are just fine. They get you what you ordered basically in about the same amount of time– It’s just easier since there is not a rush– and well ’ I wait outside and watch the water instead of looking at the same signs of eating and ordering more than I should– get some fresh air.

It is outrageous that they charge $ 7 more for. Deal than the mainland advertising price. This practice is why HAwaii is so expensive! While good store like best buy, macys, crocs will match their mainland price or the website price(or other stores prices)… This is a much more customer friendly philosophy. So until Pizza Hut Hawaii changes their price gouging, I am going to just say no… I mean at least dominos only charges $ 2 more from 5.99 in the mainland to $ 8 in Hawaii for a medium pizza. $ 7 is ridiculous!

Walked in here and tried to use a buy one get one free coupon for a large pizza. Instead of charging me the price on the menu on the wall($ 16.99), the manager tried to charge me a random $ 26.99 for a large pizza, claiming that the price on the wall was a «special price». So I asked to see a copy of any published menu that shows $ 26.99 as the regular price — the manager was unable to do so. No menu listed $ 26.99 as the regular price, so I feel charging this arbitrary price to a customer trying to use a coupon is unfair.

Total scam!!! I ordered pizzas this week and someone named«Jxxx from Pizza Hut» called. He said the cashier did not ring my card properly and that the charge did not go through. He asked me to provide him my card information so he could re process charges through the phone. I thought it was a little fishy so I told him I would call back after checking with my credit card. Total scam!!! Beware. I called corporate office to file a complaint and the district manager told me there is no reason for the Pizza Hut local store to call directly to the customers and ask for re process a mischarge. If anything you should be getting a call from the number from call center, the number you call when placing your order. I would rate 0 star if I could. Please let friends and family know never give out credit card information to them on the phone. It is best to go to the store and re-swipe the card if there was really a mischarge.

Efficient and polite staff. Lexi was very kind and professional; not the sadly common zombie appearance of most food industry workers. Good job Lexi. Prices for everything are higher in Hawaii can’t blame Pizza Hut alone for that Condiments and dipping sauces are probably worth being complimentary though

We’ve ordered carryout from here a few times. Everything has come out fine and on time. It is a little weird that you can’t order from here through the Pizza Hut website and that it’s not even listed as a location. But if you’re in Hawaii Kai and are craving Pizza Hut, this is the place.

Ordered pizza, pasta, and buffalo wings last night. The pasta was okay, but the pizza was soggy and doughy because it wasn’t cooked long enough. The buffalo wings weren’t that great either. This makes me miss papa johns in hk.

how does this place only have one review? anyways, Jon said, its pizza hut — thats it. I’ve been coming here since i was a little kid. Maybe its just me, but i feel like the pizzas have gotten smaller over the years(or i just got bigger). If you’re looking for that franchise pizza taste that you know & love, this place delivers(and they bring the food to you as well). side note: they don’t honor the same pricing as you see on the national TV commercials — lucky we live hawaii right?

Okay I feel like this is the stingiest Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here several times and it’s always the same. The toppings are sparse, certain pizzas(like the New Yorker) are cardboard thin, and even when using coupons I feel ripped off. costco or other store bought pizzas are cheaper with more abundant toppings. poor to mediocre quality aside, the staff is friendly and helpful. I just wish they represented something better :/

It’s Pizza Hut. There’s really not much to say about Pizza Hut I feel like. If you’re looking for an average pizza joint, this is your spot! But I guess if I’m looking up places to get pizza, and Pizza Hut is in the consideration, then I’d just want to know that it’s not a junk Pizza Hut. It’s not. It’s tasty, it’s clean and it’s decently priced. Nothing special, but consistent pizza hut quality. If you are looking for a pizza that makes you say wow, that was delicious, then try Boston Pizza around the corner or V Lounge in town. Both are fantastic. One for amazing quality and one for quality with massive doesn’t even fit in the pizza box size.
