I just sent in notification to cancel our PV agreement with Sunrun. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing transaction with their company that has costed us the opportunity to save on this year’s tax credits and the«old» HECO credit program. The reason that we are cancelling and going with another company lies solely on the company. Sunrun«dropped the ball» on our NEM paperwork by not submitting it to HECO. We went 2 months without hearing from them while I repeatedly tried to reach out to the project coordinators via phone calls and emails, without ever receiving a reply. Once I got her involved again, our sales consultant, Ashley Bailey, was the only person who seemed to care about our business. But even she couldn’t save the mess up caused by missing the deadline to get in the queue for the old HECO plan. We initially agreed on Sunrun because of their relationship with Costco and they promised excellent service. That all was proven wrong in only the set-up and paperwork part of the transaction!
