My family just switched to T-Mobile from Sprint. Last night my mom called and spoke with an individual who quoted a promotion that they have which is a $ 200 per line credit for customers transferring from Sprint. Since we were coming with five lines, $ 1000 bill credit was great! My mom made sure to ask that this wasn’t some mystery promotion that would be gone by tomorrow. But hey, what’s that? We went in tonight and was told by the person we spoke with previously saying that the promotion that was quoted had actually ended a week ago. That individual thought that the loss of a $ 1000 bill credit was funny for some reason because he kept laughing nervously. You know what would be better than nervously laughing? Confirming the deal you’re advertising. You spoke on the phone for a few minutes with my mom gathering information to expedite the process last night for our appointment this evening and not once did you make an attempt to confirm such a lucrative offer was in fact still valid. But it’s okay, karma got you back real quick from that mistake with a trade in.

I went in after my phone got water logged and I was assisted by Katrina. She made sure that she helped me take the best route to fix my issue and even got second opinions from her manager on my options. She even walked me to the door lol way to go above & beyond! I hate when I have to walk into TMobile. It’s usually super crowded and takes forever. My one exception is this location and I’m so hesitant to write this review because I don’t want anyone else to know how great it is here. I live in Aiea but I will come to this location for the friendly service. I used to ask for Natalie but I’m not sure if she moved stores or changed jobs. This past week Katie helped my grandmother out. We wanted to upgrade her outdated smartphone(a hand-me down) to an iPhone 6 plus. Katie was super helpful in explaining all the options to my grandma and the went as far as to transfer all her contacts and photos. The photos had to be sent one by one since her old phone was ancient. We never felt rushed or pushed out the door while we were there. Even when it got super busy Katie still took her time and made sure my grandma was happy.

Great customer service! Daniel was great and really could tell that he was genuine and had our best interest. He was so patient and assisted us with everything and made the experience of buying a new phone so so special and fun. John was also great and so friendly and easy to talk to. Experiences like these are the reason I will continue to stay loyal to T Mobile regardless of all the other competitors out there! Thank you!

Nina A., the manager for this Hawaii Kai store, is wonderful! She is friendly, helpful and provides terrific customer service. She found a solution to a potential problem, and by doing so, reinforced my loyalty to T-Mobile. Other cellular companies have tried to get my business and even though I’ve been tempted to switch, it’s employees like Nina that keep me with T-Mobile. Quality service and products, presented by quality employees, are what makes this company my choice!

Jon is the man! I would have given this store 1 start if it wasnt for Jon! The week the IPhone 5S was released, I checked in with them to see if I was able to switch from Sprint to Tmobile. Not only did he answer all my questions, he set me up with a new sim card to reserve my IPhone 5S. Pretty remarkable considering no one was taking reservations for the 5S. We later found out that no carrier stores on the island received their shipment of Gold and Silver IPhones… Long story short, I was given inaccurate information by the Store Manager, Nina who later redeemed herself by hooking us up with Galaxy S3’s as loaners until our new IPhones come in(the typical loaner phones are those flip phones, tacky). Anyway, these 3 stars are because the store understood that I couldnt be seen in public with a flip phone. I will not give in to social suicide. Bye Nina! #2moviequotesinone

I have been a T-Mobile subscriber for over 10 years, and am quite satisfy with their services, with both cell phone quality and customer service, NOT their marketing direction, however. This review is NOT about T-Mobile’s national services or strategies, ONLY specifically for the service I have received at the Hawaii Kai retail store, located in the Hawaii Kai Towne Center. I AM still satisfied with T-Mobile’s service to date. I rarely obtained or required service from an agent at a T-Mobile retail store, I have always able to have my issues resolved on the web or over the phone which was great. I have occassionally visite a retail store to get facts about T-Mobile’s new rate plans, and test drive new phones. My experience is mostly pleasant, most service agent are courteous and knowledgeable. But one would think you could receive the same quality service at any retail store from the same chain, wrong!!! I went to the Hawaii Kai retail store to swap SIM cards, from a full size SIM card from my aged and dying phone, to a Micro SIM card for a new smart phone I have purchased outright elsewhere. I was told by a T-Mobile agent that this is a FREE service that T-Mobile would provide to their current customers. The agents at this store insisting that this is NOT a FREE service, and will charge $ 20 for the service. I even asked to speak with the store manager, and got the same answer. When I mentioned about the conversation I had with the agent from another store, the manager told me that this is thier new policy that started a few days ago. Thinking I missed the opportunity of the free service, I went back to the other store where I found out about this service. The agent there made no fuzz about it, and did not charge me a cent, and I did not even have to mention the word FREE. The service was done at the S. Beretania store. The staff there is definitely more knowlegeable and professional. So I was a bit shocked the differences in customer service at different retail stores, especially for long time customer such as myself. If the store would over charge for a free service, I wonder what they would charge for an actual purchase. So always compare prices even between retail stores!
