This is a beautifully presented art space that hums on first Friday and is a tranquil stop at other times. Ms Hopper’s work has always been on display during my visits and is worth the trip alone. There is usually a selection of works by other artists too which makes it worthwhile to call in from time to time.
Others have commented on Ms Hopper’s Italian poster advertisements and these show a quite different but very cute side of her talent.
Melanie is knowledgeable and super helpful, a real credit to the gallery.

If you’re doing the first friday art walk, you gotta stop by here. The venue is nice and clean with beautiful expensive artwork.

The Pegge Hopper gallery is one of the can’t miss galleries on our First Friday art walk treks. I love the poster art for the she did for the Italian department store. You can also buy the Taste of Aloha cookbook series here. Other works vary from visit to visit, but there’s usually a wide selection of the iconic images that made her a fixture of the island art scene.
