Such a great place for ribbons and yarn! Amazing samples of the different types and styles to make leis. Even better, a free lesson on how to make the type of lei that you want to learn. Amazing and easy way to make a souvenir for your next Hawaii trip that will last longer than the chocolate Mac nuts, pineapple, or tan you first bring home from your trip!

Wow, what a beautiful store. My wife is in a candy store of craft. This is a must go place for crafties and they have plenty of seating for non crafties :).

I found my little happy place in paradise! The leis here are absolutely stunning! Every type of ribbon you can imagine, yarn, rattail, kukui, shell… everything you need to make beautiful forever leis! I was just in awe!
There were a group of ladies at the table, all creating their beautiful projects and talking story. I was told that I can have a free lesson of any one of the many leis in the store, I just needed to buy the materials. Plenty leis to choose from, that’s the hard part! I only had a couple days left before flying back home, so I had to choose one I felt I could finish.
I chose the niihau shell lei and I am so happy I did. Aunty Sandy gathered the ribbons I needed and got me started. I stayed for a few hours and met more Aunties. I came back for the second day to learn the next part of the lei. I had a great time with all the Aunties and my lei turned out so u’i!
Next time I come back, it will be at the beginning of my trip so I can come learn more! Mahalo for the lesseons and letting me talk story with you!

Awesome little shop full to the ceiling (no I’m not exaggerating!) with all sorts of yarn. Every style and color you could imagine. The proprietor is a very friendly guy who helped us find what we were looking for and ordered additional for us after we bought out all he had in stock. best part was he had the order ready in 2 days!!! AWESOME service! Plus, the shop offers lei making classes, etc. Very nice :)

There is something magical when an establishment gives you a genuine smile. Traci and her staff have a good handle on this success elixir. Walk into her shop on a Saturday and you’ll be greeted with cheerful voices and giggles from Traci’s students.
Traci offers free craft classes to patrons who buy yarn and supplies from her shop. The shop walls and cases are covered with her creations… lei…hats…vests…even slippers! Patrons point out what they’d like to make, buys the supplies and they are given free lessons on how to make the item.
Tip: Traci has two shops and rotates her time between both locations. It’s best to call ahead for class reservations.
