Awesome wings! Had the 6 piece and they allow you to try 2 different spices. 3&3! French Fries are worth the stop alone. Service at the counter was provided by Justice who was great at helping me choose what spices to try. They also serve beer! We will definitely be back!

Quality of product, Service(Shout out to Justice!) personnel & cleanliness of the restaurant were all high scores! Value is very good, combos are well priced. Atomic & Cajun on one side of the table, Original and Louisiana Rub on the other! All were better to best, only downside, was they could have been a larger sized pieces, a couple were chopped off ends with a somewhat sharp bone protruding. Fries, Excellent! Not greasy, great seasoning. Looking for another long Road Trip from Kailua!

Awesome wings, nice variety and nothing goes better with wings than a cold beer. This place doesn’t disappoint. My favorite was the teriyaki, then the lemon pepper and the honey bbq had a great flavor too. Any three of these are highly recommended. They have cookies which are pretty good, but if you’re looking for desert better off hitting up some place else. Great environment, great service, great music. All in all great place to chill with friends.

We ordered the fries and boneless wings. The flavors we got were the Louisiana Rub, Hickory Smoked BBQ, and Teriyaki. I personally did not like the Louisiana Rub since it tasted like uncooked flour to me. However, my sister enjoyed them! On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Teriyaki! It was delicious! I also liked the fries. You could never go wrong with fries! Overall, I’d go here again and try the other flavor options!

The staff is beyond impressive. The management is beyond words for superior detailed service. The owner — well, He’s just amazing and his staff reflect him greatly. This location has taken every suggestion I have made and improved on their business. They are clearly not just a franchise but a business that wants to get it right the first time with guest. I appreciate that they know me by name, they always get it right the first time, its hot, on time, and amazing. What a value from the other places from Louisiana that are down the street lol. For wings in Hawaii, quality service with a smile, and they get it right — its WINGSTOP –Dillingham!

You can place orders online now!(I hate ordering over the phone for fear or having someone with an accent I can’t understand, or they don’t understand me. And then I have to wait around because the order got messed up). Anyways. Go online, make an account and place an order. Then go in to pick them up at the set pick up time. You don’t have to wait! What’s cool is you can customize and ask for the wings and fries to be extra crispy. Since they always seem to get soft by the time I get home. And for the fries you can add special seasonings!

WingStop is located on Dillingham in the a Kapalama Shopping Center. There is plenty of parking available in the front. They have about 10 tables and 3 TVs mounted up on the walls. We came here for lunch on a Sunday, so they had the foodball game on. This actually seems like a mellow spot to chill and watch games. OH, and they serve beer here! Winner winner, chicken wings and beer for dinner! :D Another neat thing about WingStop is that they offer 3 additional ways to place your order. 1 — Online 2 — Over the Phone 3 — Using the WingStop App The Grub. We decided to share the 10 piece boneless meal combo $ 13.19(2 flavors + 1 dip + Fries + 20oz Soft Drink) and upgraded the fries to cheese fries($ 2.49). For the dipping sauce we got was honey mustard and for our flavor wings we tried the Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. I liked the lemon pepper more. the garlic Parmesan was really really oily for some reason =/ Flavors available for wings: Atomic, Mango Habanero, Cajun, Original Hot, Louisiana Rub, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Spicy Korean, Hawaiian, and Teriyaki. Dipping sauces to choose from: Rnach, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, Cheese Sauce Overall, I thought this place was okay. It wasn’t super busy when we came and the food came out pretty quick.

I am so glad this place opened up in Hawaii. We ordered the 10 piece mango habanero and the atomic flavored wings. The mango sauce was really good. Heads up though, have some water with the atomic, those thing will burn your lips off, but they tasted so good! We did have one problem with the food, however, it was quickly resolved and we were given another batch of wings and a dip for free! The customer service was great! We’ll definitely stop by again.

Perfectly okay if you’re in the mood for wings, but not amazing. FOOD: I love wings and I have to say, there’s are okay. For me, they left something to be desired. I didn’t care much for the level of crispyness(low) or flavor of sauce. That’s personal preference though. SERVICE: Not great. It’s fast food, but I really think they could do a better job when taking your order and calling it out. It’s trying to be a touch better than fast food, but it’s missing the mark. It’s almost painful to order, because I’m constantly being interrupted with questions, like my name. Maybe it’s the ordering system that makes you put in the info in a certain way, but it’s annoying and should be fixed. Also, I think it takes them a little too long to make wings and fries. Often the wait is 20 min or more. PRICE: Average for wings. About $ 10 – 15 per person for wings, drink and fries.

My theory has proven correct. I came to Wingstop in hopes of having some solid wings. When I walked in there were several people there, but many had been served. I ordered and the influx happened. Unfortunately, I know that when they get busy the work gets sloppy. When I received my order my fries were mixed with hot and lukewarm fries and it wasn’t even a full order. The wings were a bit more disappointing. The drummettes were more like quail drummettes than chicken. There were six of them and I was so disappointed because the only meat was on the four wing portions. I was not satisfied whatsoever. I would have had to order a large portion to give full. It was great to see the shift manager hustling around clearing tables, but I paid too much to munch on quail for dinner. He should have made sure the quality of food coming out of the kitchen was at an appropriate level.

I first was introduced to wingstop in Cali because my sister who lives there is a big football fan and always brings me to wingstop whenever I was in town. I was pretty excited that they were opening one here especially in town where it’s like a 5 min drive for me to dillingham. I love my chicken wings so to have one near me especially reminding me of my cali visits, I was looking forward to it. I first went within the month it had open last year. As I remembered it, service was a bit slow but gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they’re because they’re a new establishment in town so they’re still working on the quirks of running things smoothly there. Some of their chicken that we tried then was a bit salty and not as what I had remembered back when I was in Cali. But then again, gave them the benefit of the doubt and told myself maybe i’ll get better if I come back at a later time. The server then was friendly so it made our experience a bit enjoyable as we salivated on the chickens that was tastier than others. Cali does it better though. I had tried wing stop recently this month but it was from a take out order that my boyfriend had ordered for when we got home from work. He ordered the family pack that came with 3 different choice flavors. He got the louisiana rub, teriyaki, and lemon pepper. They were all good and tasty but my favorite would be the boneless cajun chicken because I like everything spicy and not messy by getting the boneless chicken ones. But I suppose some people like getting the bone to suck the flavor out of it. lol Based on the reviews on customer service, I probably wouldn’t wanna dine in especially since this place can get busy. I’d rather do a take out and probably check my food before I leave so I don’t go home and have the same experience as others who’ve gotten their orders wrong. There’s a lot of parking in that complex area but it can get packed also as it shares with a lot of restaurants nearby especially zippys the main food attraction there.

Well, they got me. I am officially a Wingstop addict. I’m ashamed to report that one of the cashiers recently recognized my boyfriend Jake and I when we stopped in to pick up our online orders. What can I say? I can’t get enough of that GARLICPARMESAN. Now I know why Rick Ross felt the need to become a franchise owner. If I was filthy rich, I’d buy my own Wingstop too! Wingstop is a great place if you know how to work it. Orders take a while to make, so order ahead online through their website or mobile app! Yes, they have an app — and yes, I’ve debated on whether it deserves a spot on my home screen. I almost think you get more options by ordering online. I love my wings and fries cooked crispy, and there’s an option for that! You can also choose two different wing flavors — even plain if you just want to taste the chicken. When it comes to sides, I’ve tried a couple different fry seasoning options and recommend staying away from the soggy fries drenched in processed cheese. Opt for either the Parmesan or traditional fry seasoning — both are delicious! By ordering online, you can even choose *how much* fry seasoning you want. I would give Wingstop 5 stars if ordering online was a flawless operation, but like any system they get it wrong once in a while. One time Jake was gypped a chicken wing, and once I scored an extra wing. You win some, you lose some — but like any fast food location, it’s best to check your order before you leave. Also don’t forget to load your to-go bag with napkins and utensils yourself, as they still don’t do this. You can also place your order online as a future pick up. Just set the time you’ll be there, and your wings will be ready — still hot and waiting for you. We tried this once and got a call from the store saying they made a mistake and prepared our orders immediately. They ended up making us a fresh batch that was ready by the time we had scheduled to pick up our orders anyway, so the mistake didn’t end up being an inconvenience. What can I say? We just can’t get enough. MONDAY + TUESDAYSPECIAL: Missing the weekend already? Don’t feel like cooking dinner? Yeah, we’ve all been there. Wingstop has the cure and it’s their $ 0.70 boneless wing special(but you’ve got to be buying at least 10 pieces). PARKING: Free in the lot shared with other businesses like the Zippy’s Dillingham location.

Wingstop is your place to go if you’re gonna make a long voyage across the sea on a boat, like a pirate, and need to be prepared for scurvy. Their wings were the saltiest pieces of chicken I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. It must have been preserved in salt, rolled in salt, cooked in salt flavored oil, and then the sauces was 99% sodium &1% flavor. So, intense. The fries were about the same. The staff here was super nice. Everything was clean. 2 stars. The power went out while we were dining and so that was another WTF? So far I am UNIMPRESSED with this whole shopping center when it comes to food options. From the road it looks cute, and like you might find a great spot to dine, but once you try all the various places you quickly realize it’s all terrible.

If there’s something I really like eating, it’s buffalo wings. Like hot pot and yakiniku, buffalo wings is another food that you can gather all your friends and just start having at it. It also goes great with sports and beer — two things Wingstop has to offer. There’s a bunch of tables inside to watch from the several televisions they have up. Maybe it’s a weird setup or it’s a good business strategy. The area to order is small and the dining area extends. I’m pretty sure if there was a much bigger need for buffalo wings and everyone was craving them at the same time the line would go out the door and around the Kapalama Shopping Center. I would suggest getting the boneless rather than the signature. Their bone-ins aren’t as meaty as I’d like them. My favorite seasoning are lemon pepper and mango habanero which isn’t as spicy as it sounds. They offer rice, fries and coleslaw as a few sides that you can get. The combo comes with buffalo wings, a choice of a side, a sauce and a drink ~ can’t go wrong in that combo. The real reason why this is a three star review is because oddly enough, my phone orders got mixed up, twice. I ended going home with a bunch of signature buffalo wings instead of boneless and a bunch of large sides of rice instead of regular. The second time, I phone ordered I waited the same amount of time I would if I had ordered when I walked in… Overall, like any other sports bar they have buffalo wings and good ones too. I wouldn’t stay to watch a whole game with a bunch of my passionate sports fan though, it’s not big enough.

Unilocal 100 Review Challenge 2015: 5⁄100 Sorry, long review: I attended their WingStop event which I found through Unilocal that celebrated the opening of their two in Hawaii locations. The advertisement promoted 5 free wings(classic or boneless) for free no purchase necessary. Besides the balloons there were NO signage promoting this event. It wasn’t too crowded either. I ordered an individual meal(6 pieces classic with a drink and a side) and asked to add on the promotional 5 free wings. I was informed by the employee that it would be an additional cost so I agree though I believed they would be free. She charged me and was informed by her coworker that there’s a promotion on going until 5pm. She snapped at her coworker for not informing her and without an apologize, snatched my credit card back to refund me. As I waited for my «to go» meal I watched as several people placed orders and never once did the employees inform the customers of the promotion, so many just ordered regular and paid. Finally, after an extensive amount of time waiting, my name was called and I walked to the counter to see a tray of my order. I informed the employee I ordered my meal«to go». She rolled her eyes and took the tray in the back to later return with it in a package. My experience was horrible as is, I even heard other customers complaining about their experience. As I walked out the door I saw the upper management eating and talking story outside on the tables. When I went home I was angry to find that my order was incorrect. I had order all my wings«classic» and instead, 6 were classic and 5 were boneless. After all I had just went through! I have never experienced this at other mainland WingStops and this is definitely not local hospitality! I suggest this locations management inform their employees of promotions and how to relay them to customers… it wouldn’t help to train them on customer service 101 as well!

Unilocal 365 Challenge 2015 #55/365 This is my second Wingstop experience, but my first at the Kalihi location. I saw on Unilocal that they were doing a grand opening event, where you could get 5 free wings between 1−5pm, so I figured we had to check it out, right? Funny story, ran into a few Unilocalers, and one, Nadine C., was holding her phone out with my Unilocal profile picture on it. Hilarious! It was cool to finally met her IRL! There are a few good things about this place: –Friendly staff –Sells beer –Good tasting food Some bad things: –Kind of a long wait for food –Napkins are on a paper towel roll for customers to grab and rip for themselves(with no perforation!) –Forks are all hamajang –No trash cans(that I saw) I don’t like that they don’t give you any utensils with your meal. If you want napkins or a fork, you have to grab it yourself. Even if you have a take-out bag! I ordered the original hot boneless wings with a large cheese fries, and Rachel ordered the garlic Parmesan wings with a small cheese fries. The original hot sauce singed some of my nose hairs when I opened it, but I was still excited. They were alright, nothing super special, but when I tried the garlic Parmesan wings, my taste buds exploded! Those were probably the best tasting wings I had ever! The cheese fries were kind of disappointing, but I guess you get what you order, because it was just that: fries and cheese. It’s a little pricey for my taste, as the large cheese fries were $ 5.19. We got the wings for free, but when I looked at the menu, my first thought was that the prices were a little high, especially just for wings. Despite that, I would probably still come back. They have better wings than Buffalo Wild Wings do.

I love chicken wings, and even though I live in town, it’s hard to find good wing places. When I’m in Pearl city, I’ll go to the BWW there, but I don’t go out there very often. I’ve contemplated going to the wingstop in Kapolei or wherever it is, but I’ve never actually done it. I was therefore very excited for the wingstop opening in kalihi. The«restaurant» is newly renovated and clean. There are no trashcans, so it’s awkward to leave your mess on the tables, especially when the workers only come out chat with their friends. Really. Several«youths» came in to take water cups from their cashier friends and fill them with soda. –__– The menu is a little confusing with all the combo options and sauces and dips and sides. The list of sauce options is also a little skimpy. I guess I’m used to the huge BWW list, but let’s be honest, you crave wings for the sauce the wings are smothered in. The cashiers welcome the customers when they walk in, but the cashier helping me was insincere and rolled his eyes at me a couple times. We got a combo for two, a side of veggies and an add on of wings because I wanted to try the lemon pepper too. It came out to $ 30! Lol it’s not very cheap. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me. I liked the bbq sauce the best and I liked the generous servings of ranch and blue cheese dip that came with the combo. I did not like the limp fries nor that I had to pay for a side of previously frozen carrots. If I’m gonna have to pay for it, I don’t want to bite into a mushy carrot! The fries are the worst I’ve ever had. Seriously. They were warm, but not crispy at all! Huge disappointment, especially when our food took 20 mins to come out because everything is «made to order»! I won’t be back, sorry wingstop.

I finally got to try this place out. This was my first time here and I’m not impressed. Its just chicken wings. If you want something different there’s different flavors for your chicken. Tried the 10 piece original spicy and mango habanero. Didn’t care for the original. The taste was like vinegar and cayenne pepper and it was dry like it was an old batch. The mango habanero was much better and more moist like a fresh batch. The sweet and spicy sauce builds the more you eat. I think they shouldn’t be skoshi with the sauce either. Really nice kick. For the 20 piece mix it came out to just shy of $ 20.00 so basically its like a buck a wing. The smallest you can order is 10 pc too unless its chicken strips. I didn’t order any fries, rolls or drinks either. Inside is nice with a fair amount of seating. customer service was very good. parking was not a problem at about 10:30 pmish. But noon you’ll be pressed to find parking. Although I got half a bad batch of wings, I’m more than willing to give it another try and bump the stars if its better but for now thats where it stands. I would advise you to wash your hands before you use the bathroom or rub your eyes just to be on the safe side.

Since this location just opened up in Kalihi, a.k.a. my hometown, I finally got around to trying it out last night on my way home. You’d think that after a night at the ballet & cute desserts from a spot in town that a classy girl like me wouldn’t wanna get my hands dirty, but you’d be wrong! 11:25pm and Cathy T. & I walk into Wingstop because our friends are already there noming on wings, so of course we decided to join them. Parking: SOEASY. I’m not sure how it’ll be during the day when all the other businesses are open, but there’s a parking lot that’s free and fairly easy to find parking in for the plaza that Wingstop is in. Hours & operations: They’re killing it with their hours. Seriously. They close at midnight, so showing up at 11:25pm was totally fine and we still got to eat and enjoy whatever we wanted! Ordering is easy enough, and they’re willing to walk you through flavors/spice levels and sauces and all that in case you’ve never been there before. It’s a nice enough store. Very clean and new, and the décor is pretty bright and sporty. One downside is that there are no trashcans in sight. I felt bad having to leave my mess/trash out on the table and walk away, but their staff cleans off the tables. Seems kinda rough, especially at a wing place with all those sauces and stuff lol. Food: Flavors of wings range from non-spicy teriyaki all the way up to atomic. I had a chance to try garlic parmesan(not garlicky enough; mostly parmesan), hickory smoked bbq(slightly sweet & tangy), lemon pepper, atomic(not bad at first, but really builds as you keep eating), Louisiana rub(dry rub, not a wet sauce), and original hot(not bad, but not my fave). I like eating my wings with ranch, no matter what kinda sauce is on it, so far, because the creaminess helps cut the spice. You can order wings, sides, extra sauces, family packs, personal combos that come with a drink & a side(normally fries, but you can switch it up with something else) and all that. The combo is a relatively good deal for what you get(2 flavors of spice &1 sauce), so it’s what I ordered— 6pc combo w/fries for about $ 10. Turns out, they use a lot of salt. The fries are sadly not crispy, and are a bit too salty for me. some of my friends thought their wings were too salty, but I didn’t think they were TOO bad, especially when you use a dipping sauce. BEER: On the bright side, they serve beer! You can’t really hate a chicken wing spot that makes sure they offer beer to go with their wings. I didn’t actually find out what kind of beer it is, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough. Overall: I was kind of just underwhelmed. I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but it was good for what it was. I would eat there again because the prices aren’t bad, the service is nice, they’re open late, and they’re conveniently located for me. On the other hand, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back or to take people there if they weren’t already craving wings.
