Applebee’s

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon and I was so impressed with the friendly service we received. Very attentive waiter, all of our needs were addressed and our food arrived hot and delicious. For a chain restaurant I was very happy with our experience here.

Lousy service, no compensation for errors. Four of us went, two orders were wrong but the waitress never came back. Asked another waitperson to find our waitress, to correct our orders. Got cold bacon to put on the ½ eaten buger, sent it back, waitress asked if we were done while three of us were still chewing/​silverware in hand. Manager came over to apologize and offer to ajust the bill. The only adjustment was the $ 2 off for returning the cold bacon… Go to the 99.

My first time here. In fact my first Tim Ron New Hampshire. Stopped in to get a bite to eat and a drink. I have to say I was blown away with my server. His name was Alen. Yes that’s how he spells it. His advise on drinks was spot on and he made sure it was made to the T! I have to say you need to stop in to this place and when you do ask for Alen.

I’ve been going here for a while now, the food is very good, one of my favorite places to eat. But lately the last couple times I have ate here the service wasn’t so good. 10 minutes after I get my food there already giving me boxes to go and the bill, the place was half empty so they weren’t even busy. I feel rushed and unable to enjoy my food when coming here.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to an Applebees, not sure I’ll go back. The new décor is nice and the bartender was attentive and friendly but the burger and fries were sub par for the price I paid. I left feeling hungrier than when I went in. Save your money and go to Wendy’s, the fries are better.

Ate here after going to a movie at the Cinemagic IMAX. My waitress was friendly and attentive, food came out quickly and was quite good. My party got an order of boneless wings, two orders of the half rack of ribs, and a salad. My salad was fresh and was very tasty.
We left very satisfied and I would definitely come back if I return to the Hooksett area.

The meal was good. Had a cowboy burger wife had a wrap of some type. When we sat down we over heard the table next to us complaining about an hour wait, so we ordered an appetizer, just in case it was a long wait. Our meal arrived before the appetizer, so we asked to canceled appetizer. No biggie really. Well, the manager came by graciously and apologized and offered to compensate for one meal and get me a refill on drink. Never got the refill drink but got the more expensive meal compensated. It seemed they were short staffed as tables took some time to clear and our waiter seemed to be new as he botched a couple of orders.
The food was really good and we had one of the best hostess I have seen in a long time, she was slightly older than the usual 20 year old hostess. I believe her name was Kay and she was from Scotland. She made it a point to speak conversational style, asking questions and making kind comments. She even picked up a broom a few times when there were no customers waiting. Just a real pleasant person to have for the front of a house greater. As I walked out of the Applebee’s, I mentioned to my wife that she was the highlight of the lunch.

The food is terrible. I’ve been to different Applebees before and I generally enjoy their food. This particular one is not up to par. Every time I go here, I’m waiting extra time before getting seated or getting my food because the staff is chatting with each other. One particular day, I ordered a burger that was way over cooked and my friend ordered haddock that had some hard pieces and bones in it. We told the waiter, who didn’t seem to care. Most of the servers there are really nice especially in the lounge. I’d give it two stars for half off apps and cheap food.

Absolutely disgusted with this restaurant. Not only did I NOT get my meal after an 1 40 mins, but the manager responded very poorly. Will not be going back to this place again and would not recommend anyone else go either. Quite frankly, the only reason I give it 1 star is at least the waitress tried to be helpful.

Driving through Hooksett and decided to stop with my girlfriend for Dinner. The new décor in this particular one really brings the hometown feeling with all the local High School Sports pictures and the large wall wrap pictures of the local scenery. One thing I do miss is the pictures and such of Adam Sandler that they had up. The new lighting is very vibrant and eye catching. The host was not familiar with what Gluten-​Free was and asked if it was an allergy or something. The staff should be up to date with allergens especially gluten-​free & nut allergies. The server Cora was a very good server and very attentive to her tables and always was ready with a beverage refill when needed. I requested for my Bourbon Street Style Steak to not have any onions or mushrooms on it. However when I received my steak it had mushrooms on it, I asked for a new one and the vegetables with my girlfriend’s meal wasn’t even cooked, however the Manager Michelle was quick to react to the situation and recover it properly with a great and pleasant attitude. The Dessert shooters were best I’ve sampled at any Applebee’s as they had the perfect amount of each ingredient that didn’t overpower another.

This is our favorite go to spot. always good food and drinks and very comfortable. We also eat in the Bar!

Okay, I have to admit that I have those moodswings for chain food, especially after a long day and evening of work when my brain can’t work anymore. My boss and I have lunch and late dinners often at the Hooksett Applebee’s (located in front of K-​Mart) to discuss project related issues over mostly fatty foods and drinks. The food here is conventional, but pretty tasty. The Tequila Lime Chicken rocks! The lunch combos ($ 5.99-$ 6.99) are a great deal and after 9:00 PM (Mon-​Thurs), all appetizers are half off, except the sampler and mini burgers, a convenient time to quit work for the night. The Dessert Shooters ($ 1.99) are just the right size to satisfy the sweet tooth after the meal. Oh, for those counting calories, they have a Weight Watchers Menu. The service here is consistent and friendly.
Each Applebee’s is different with a local theme and flair of decorations. For example, the Derry Applebee’s (my other favorite location) is decorated with Pinkerton Academy and Londonderry HS scholastic sports. This Hooksett Applebee’s has a special wall dedicated to Manchester’s own «Adam Sandler.» All of his movies and music really crack me up! The food here is definitely a lot better than what the «Lunchlady» serves up: sloppy joe, hoagies & grinders, sloppy joe, navy beans, sloppy joe. (blech), hehe
