This past week I stopped in the pizza man after going to the movies with someone I was on a date with. we ordered a large mushroom and Hamburg pizza… which we decided in the car because we were so hungry. They brought over a pizza with peppers and Hamburg we told the waitress we didn’t order that and she seemed upset and made some comments about flipping out on someone for making it wrong. then the manager Megan comes over thinking she was going to apologize or something and she was RELENTLESSLY holding up the waitresses pad of paper in mine and my dates face she wrongly wrote peppers and Hamburg on… blaming us for not speaking clearly and telling us to make sure next time we come in to make sure we don’t make a mistake(never going back)… BUT would not stop holding up the pad and blaming us and telling us it’s our fault the waitress has to pay for the pizza… making us feel guilty. At one point I held my jacket to my face because I was getting so angry she would not stop badgering us and wouldn’t leave us alone being embarrassingly unprofessional. regardless even if we did make the mistake of not ‘speaking clearly’ which we didn’t. I don’t think the cost of us NEVER going back there being locals is compensating for the $ 5 dollars of ingredients. she was so rude and when we walked out put her head down ignoring us and not even saying goodnight. never going back there and who ever put that girl Megan who clearly has never managed anything let alone her attitude should highly reconsider the cost of their business.

This was the first time I’ve ordered delivery in about 5 years & it was well worth it! The bbq chicken pizza was delicious! Perfectly done in every way and delivered nice & hot. They quoted the delivery time almost to the minute, he actually arrived a few minutes early! Next time, I’ll skip the spicy fries and stick with the standard french fries. Great experience!

Visiting from out of town, and I can’t say I’ve had a calAzone as good as this one ever. The only thing I feel bad about is that I came here alone and I could only finish half of it. I certainly hope I am able to finish it before I get on my flight tomorrow.

We were a little worried due to some of the reviews but we so enjoyed. Salad and pizza were delicious. Service was awesome! We will definitely return!

Great service. Very cheery pleasant atmosphere. Very clean. Most importantly the best cheese pizza I ever had by far. Ordered the 4 chz pizza. The crust and cheese combo top notch. I live in bedford. This place is worth driving to just to pick up pizza or eat.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner on our way to see a movie a couple weeks ago(on a Wednesday night), what a mistake! First no one greeted us at the door we just kind of stood there waiting for the host that never showed, our waitress ended up seating us at a table she wasn’t even sure was clean! The service was terrible and the food was sub-par. 30 $ for a small pizza and buffalo finger app?! The waitress took our order, dropped off the food walked by multiple times and never asked us how it was or if we needed anything. I was so perplexed because every time I drive by the place is packed, needless to say we won’t be back.

The Pizza Man is an over all nice spiffy looking restaurant but don’t judge a book by its cover. The greeting was nice but later service was just refills without asking. The food quality was horrible. I had half meat lovers half Phili steak. I only had the meat lovers because it was so bad. I will never go there again

This is the 4th time we’ve been here. This time the worst! Millennial wait staff too busy to visit/chat w/their friends. Waitress checked once on us, no refill on drinks? One side was cold I told her. No apology, no offer to take it back to the kitchen, replacement etccc Too busy wanting to see what friends were doing at another table Won’t be back!

Great selection and big quantities. A favorite are the steak tips — have them as a dinner or as a salad and you will not be disappointed. Many specialty pizza options as well. Pizza sauce is on the sweeter side but still delicious. Spicy fries and chicken parm bulkie are a favorite with my sons as well. Delivery service will go to extended locations and will even bring ice cream! Dine in experience is always great. Thursday nights tend to be a busy dine in time.

Portions are HUGE — you definitely get your money’s worth(of food). Overall food(preparation) could be better and a few ingredients could be better(quality), but the price is right. For a quick meal during the week, there are worse places you could go.

I remember when they first built their small location, before they expanded and became a nice lil pizza joint with a nice bar setting. Though I have yet to dine in, my family always orders our pizzas from here when we have a family movie night or get together. One of my favorite pizzas is the chicken bacon ranch pizzas. Ranch sauce is put down instead of tomatoe sauce. They give you a ton of toppings with the right amount of cheese. The pizzas here are always fresh and are HUGE! I’ve had an occasional sub or salad from here too, and have always been pleased. If you have a lil get together, and you want to sit and chat over great pizzas, do yourself a favor and order from here. It’s always wonderful to see a local business do so well. The staff has always been friendly, and their food quality is consistant.

The food is very good. Service is very good too. But the noise level in the building is crazy! You can’t even hear yourself think in there. For that reason alone, I won’t go back.

My wife and I came in for lunch. Bartender seemed more interested in the other activities she was doing and irritated by our arrival. She was pleasant enough, not totally rude. We ordered a soup and a bowl of chili for appetizer. My wife enjoyed her soup but my chili was luke warm at best. We then ordered a BLT sub to split. It would have been better if they splurged on some bacon. It was a lettuce, tomatoes sandwich. This is the third and final try for this place. We just haven’t had one good experience here.

I ordered a pizza online last week. They didn’t use a gps to find my location and then yelled at me when they finally found me. Really? I’m the one eating cold pizza. I couldn’t believe it. I’m can get pizza from literally 25 other places. Why would I go back? The service is terrible.

Great selection, ok prices, very nice location and new modern bld. Would Def return again, only had a burger and fries, the burger was a pre made party, it was one of the better ones I have had for pre made, oh I also tried the clam chowder, very good and they have like 6 different soups, I love soup and liked the selection

Great food and great service! Pizza Man doesn’t mind taking special request food orders either. Wine pours are awesome too! Only drawback is the noise level at times. Hopefully they will find a solution. Good job Pizza Man!

I ordered a calzone and pizza and both were not good. The BBQ chicken calzone was soggy/under cooked. The spinach and feta pizza was soaked with water. I likely not try this place again, but if i did, it wouldn’t be for pizza.

Just moved to the area, and this was the first local establishment I tried out. I have mixed feelings about it. I loved the garlic pizza sticks, although I think the sheer amount of garlic butter sauce gave me a terrible upset stomach. However, I want to eat these again. The pizza, on contrary, was disgusting. I ordered the Mexican pizza, and it was the worst/weirdest pizza ever. I guess I’m used to Midwest-style taco pizza. This was basically a cheese pizza with hamburger, black olives, onions, and salsa thrown on top. And you get lettuce, and tomato to put on top as well. I ate one piece and this food went to the dumpster. A serious waste of $ 20+. I may give it one more shot, and opt for a normal pepperoni pie and see how that comes out. And maybe I want to go again because I’m intrigued to checkout Merrivale Ice Cream next door…

The Pizza Man is still trying to figure out whether it’s a sit-down restaurant or a pizza shop. As a pizza shop, which is what it was for years before the recent remodel, the pizza was better than good and the sandwiches were far above average. I’ve been friendly with the owner for years. The shop was light-years ahead of the quality of food beging served up at the Giovanni’s, a lower than average shop just down the road. I’ve given the new sit-down restaurant several tries within the past few months. There are still some kinks to be worked out. 1) The food is not coming out of the kitchen at the same time. Upon a recent visit, I commented to the waitress that I still had not received my food although my bf had. She replied that the kitchen didnt’ want his food to get cold. Ahhh, that’s not the way a sit-down restaurant works. The food for each table should go out together, period. I ordered the veal parm and it was a mixed experience. The ziti was overcooked as most pasta is at middle-range restaurants. The veal was breaded and fried and then chopped into small pieces. I was baffled by this becuase there is no good reason to serve the veal in this way. There was also two slices of provolone melted on top of the dish. This wasn’t bad, just not traditional. The sauce was a light marinara. I suspect that this is the same sauce they are using on their submarine sandwiches, which, once again, illustrates the fact that they are not really serving restaurant-quality food. A sauce with a pasta dish with meat should be more hearty and flavorful. The good news was the hapless waitress was gracious and apologetic not really knowing what to make of the food coming out of her own kitchen. All in all, the food here is good just not as good as it could and should be. If you are going to turn your pizza/sandwich shop into a restaurant, train your kitchen staff on service, and then take a closer look at your menu and adjust accordingly.
