Visited on 12−10−155pm or so Not impressed with this place at all. A lot of bulbs were burned out in the ceiling lights. The place was cold for a pizza place. It lacked any warmth. I was freezing. The walls were bare and there was no décor in the place. A pizza place WITHNOBOOTHS??? I never heard of that and there was no one there. Place was empty which speaks volumes. I got a 12″ pizza with bacon and it was«for here» It was placed in a box and I was not offered any plates. I had to ask for a plate. Poor customer relations. I will NOT be back.

Great pizza. Huge slices of pizza! One slice of pizza is like two or three slices! Very flavorful. I like the different options you can chose. Best pizza in the area hands down.

Love the fresh pizza by the slice and super fresh ingredients! !! There is now a 16″ pizza which is nice when you don’t need the huge one! Best desserts in town! Try the giant cupcakes or brownies!

Sadly, Sal’s quality just isn’t the same as when they first opened in this location. Ordered a large cheese pizza to go, opened it up once home and inside was a gross mess of cheese. The crust tasted like cardboard, and the cheese sort of «curdled» on top of the greasy pizza. It was almost as if they re-heated an old pizza by adding extra cheese to it, and throwing it in the ovens. Gross!

I certainly do like Sals pizza. Although the location in Hooksett always seems to disappoint. Living in the area I like to stop on the way home from work and like others have mentioned it always seems to be a younger crowd working and they don’t seem to care so much for their customers. I am usually a bother to them and their conversations. Besides that there pizza slices are always very old and choices limited. Best option would be just to order and pick up.

I’ve always been a big fan of Sals pizza and I enjoyed the slices that I bought today. In buying those slices though, I encountered one of the rudest employees I’ve ever seen in any restaurant. I went in at about 3pm, when there was only one or two other customers in the restaurant. The guy behind the counter(probably between 19 and 23 years old) comes over and just looks at me. I said, «Hey, how are you doing?» to which he responded, «what kind of pizza do you want?» so, I ordered my two slices(which are really four in the world of Sals). He then rang up my order and didn’t even bother to say the amount — I just read it on the register. So, I paid and he walked off… without a word. Then, when my pizza was ready he stuck it in a box, and pushed the box into my general direction on the counter, while grumbling, «here». Then, he just walked back over to where the other guy was making more pizzas. I’ve always enjoyed the food at Sals, but it’s just as easy for me to go to the one in Manchester as it is to go to the Hooksett one. If I’m going to be treated like my mere presence is offensive, I’ll just go to Manchester on South Willow street next time.

Well… There pizza is good, But I will say that the cleanliness of the kitchen is not so good. They don’t wipe the counters with sanitizing solution and I have yet to see anybody wash there hands. They use a pizza cutter that either lays on the counter or sits in dirty water. And the worst thing I saw… They took my pizza from the oven with a large metal pizza spatula spatula was removed from a red soda crate which was sitting on the floor of the kitchen in front of the oven. The crate had holes in it and was dirty… and again it was sitting on the floor. So Im really not sure if I will go back.

I’m a fat, fat man and I’ve had many slices of pizza in the 26 years I’ve been alive. Sal’s is, bar none, home to the greatest pizza I have ever had the pleasure to mercilessly devour. Huge slices, and prices are very reasonable.

The pizza at the Hooksett location is pretty good! My company gets their pizza from here a lot. The dough and ingredients are fresh. Each slice is one-fourth of the giant pizza pie. Stopping here for lunch, they have several varieties pizzas ready to go by the slice. My favorite pizza is the Tomato & Garlic(slice tomatoes, fresh garlic, olive oil & cheese). The pizza crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They also have a selection of Italian desserts including cannolis, brownies, cakes and cookies.
