Groupon sparked my interest in this establishment.(I paid about $ 6 for their $ 15 Groupon). Johnny Rockets is now my go to for when im craiving a juicy burger! They are offer some serious deliciousness and variety! I love their burgers as well as their shakes. They have the best buns. Nothing ruins a burger worse than a bad bun. The fries were great as well. I tried the classic, an order of fries and a vanilla shake. You can estimate spending $ 10+ per person, and a few dollars more for desert.

Food is a three. Service depends but typically between a 3 and 4. Environment is 50s diner which I like but the deal maker is the made to order cokes. Soda water and syrup old school fountain made and dee-damn-licious. They also offere flavored like vanilla or cherry but I like the plain olé coke. Nothing plain about it. Strange to rave about a soft drink but if you like coke you’ll understand it. Food is a bit expensive but the quality is good. Shakes and ice cream etc… Not a place I can go very often. With all the cokes I drink I gain 10 lbs and am on a sugar rush for two hours.

Good food but when u buy a Cheese burger fries and coke and pay 14 dollars, wow. Burger wasn’t that great for 14 bucks. So sad like Johnny rockets to pricey for 1 person to eat, imagine 2 people 30 bucks no way.

Great burgers & onion rings(gonna skip the half&half order next time and go all rings!), and a fun atmosphere. Service can be spotty, we’ve had great experiences and not so great. But the value for the quality/size burgers and the retro diner atmosphere make up for it.

Ask for Shea, most bubbly friendly waitress I’ve met in a very long time. Food came out quickly as was delicious.

My husband and I went here for lunch on our trip to AL. The burger was great. I would’ve enjoyed the fries if they’d put salt on them. Next time I have to try the shakes. The waitress was nice. The atmosphere was pretty laid back.

Excellent service, great selection of American diner’s classics, fresh ingredients, over the top shakes! The waiters are always very accommodating and attentive. I am a regular and I always have a great experience at this Johnny Rockets. If you are military they offer a significant discount in appreciation to our troops and their hard work! Great place to eat!!!

My wife and I just dropped in for a quick lunch. We were seated pretty quickly, then we waited. And waited. No one came to get our drink order, no one said, «Be with you in a second.» We looked around and the place wasn’t busy. It appeared there were more employees than customers, but at least three of the servers just appeared to be standing around behind the counter. Finally, we got up and left. There are too many good places to eat in this area to wait around for crappy service.

Flavored condiments are the new rage here(chipotle ketchup, smokehouse sauce, Houston sauce, red red sauce and Frank’s Red hot sauce). Go with creamy, spicy Houston sauce on a Patty Melt or to dip your fries.

Wear long pants. The seats are sticky and GROSS! Otherwise, the food and service are fine. But at $ 50 for 4 burgers, sodas and one order of fries to share, it should be good.

Now here’s a chain that’s located all over the world serving a cheesy dose of classic American dishes. By cheesy I mean the entertainment of occasionally singing servers dressed in 50’s attire. My husband and I ate here recently after about 4 years. We don’t go to Hoover much. I was surprised to see how much their menu has grown and that it now includes Philly cheesesteaks. My husband’s burger was good. My Philly was just ok-the bread wasn’t a delicious roll and the cheese wasn’t melted like I would typically prefer. I’ll stick with a burger next time. The fries have always been bland but it’s cool how the serve them on their own plate with a paper container that they shake your ketchup onto. The milkshakes are absolutely delicious, huge, and not too thick! Even if you have already eaten somewhere else I’d suggest coming here for a milkshake. They have a flavor for everyones tastes. You get a full glass and the tin that they mixed it in that has the remaining amount that couldn’t fit in the glass. The food is good, not outstandingly great, but you come here for the atmosphere of ‘stepping back in time’. Kids love it! List: The BEST milkshake I’ve ever had.
