I tried this place at on a whim with my friend this past Friday. We were immediately greeted when we arrived. The girl at the cash register was extremely friendly and went over the menu with us since it was our first time. There wasn’t much room on the inside but we were able to find a table right away. The food was REALLY good(bacon swiss burger) and fresh. We were asked on more than one occasion how everything was going. It was also really clean as well. The price is reasonable because you get plenty of food and a drink with your order. I would definitely go back!

I love baha burger! The burgers are fresh, consistent, tasty and the sides are great. Great service too! I love that you can order smaller«baby» burgers. My go to is the baby buffalo with sweet potato fries.

Took my family of 4, had bang bang chicken, lamb burger, salmon burger, regular burger, fries, sweet potato fries, okra. Everything was awsome. Takes alot to impress me but the food, the quantity, service and price couldnt have been any better. 5 stars all the way. Five guys is not in even there league. Total price for 4 was $ 51 worth every penny.

Love this little gem!!! Awesome food, great prices, the friendly staff. The baby burger option is perfect for me and my hubs hubs the big one. The chili cheese fries are bomb… and I love that they have«chewable ice».

We were traveling through from the beach towards Nashville and decided to give this place a try. We wanted something quick, but not fast food. This was perfect. The burgers were big and tasty, the fried okra was just what I needed, and the sweet potato fries did not disappoint. The most impressive aspect for me was the courteous and attentive people working there.

I use to go often since I worked close by. I had an issue with call ahead curb service. They tried to make it right with a gift card. So I try to give them a second chance… they missed one of my burgers on a call in order. I ordered 3 burgers and 4 sides. Sent my husband to pick up. Supposedly they checked the bag twice when he picked it up. When he got home the bag contained 2 burgers and 3 sides. The receipt stapled to the bag had the correct order listed. On top of that the sauce on my burger had changed and apparently now contains hot peppers. After the first bite i noted the hot spicy flavor. Never had that before and i have eaten that same burger in the past. Then my third bite of my baby Burger I found a piece of string!!! Needless to say I ate a bun with cheese for dinner. My family shared the other burger. Tried to call and let them know about the error and was placed on eternal hold. So disappointed. Maybe they only get your order correct if you eat in. At least that is my experience. I am done. That is just unacceptable.

Finally gave Baha Burger another shot this evening, for dinner with my son. In years past it appeared to open close and rebrand multiple times which made me apprehensive about dining there. We tried it at some point during that phase and weren’t impressed. Tonight’s venture was better. On our arrival we noticed décor commensurate with a small surf shop. Vintage skate boards adorned the walls, I remembered one in particular from my youth. There is a roughly 10 – 12 table indoor seating area and a small open patio area. Friendly staff acknowledged us immediately upon entering the facility. The place was virtually empty when we first arrived around 6:45−7 but business picked up soon thereafter. I had the lamb burger which had good flavor. The sauce, feta and accoutrements complimented the lamb well. The tots were hot crispy and delicious! The okra on the other hand was chewy and not what I expect when I have fried okra. Texturally, it seemed like it was cooked earlier and reheated in the microwave and shouldn’t have been served. My son had the chili cheese burger with tots and he quite enjoyed it. The tab equated to roughly $ 12.00 per person with sweet tea and water to drink. With the surrounding area having an abundance of good burger places this one is a little pricey for what you get. I understand its boutiquey with offerings such as lamb and salmon burgers; however, the more traditional chili cheese wasn’t executed to the level of at least half a dozen other burger joints in surrounding area. One of the aforementioned superior burger place being in the adjoining strip mall. I would eat there again. I wouldn’t seek it out over a number of other local burger places.

Love this little gem, no idea where to even began. My favorite item is the turkey burger, I usually get it with half side of okra, and half side of sweet potatoes fries. As mentioned before, it’s really a self serve spot. Order at the counter and they’ll bring your food to you. Any given time this place is full, but never had to wait very long. Great food, inexpensive, with good service. No reason no to stop in

This chill atmosphere is nice to have lunch at. We choose eating outside just to enjoy the sunny spring weather. The ordering system is like any fast food joint except they cook your meal fresh after placing your order. Ended up getting just a regular cheese burger with skinny fries but you’ll have to pay separate for fries. My burger was medium well which I like and came out hot and fresh. The employees were helpfully and made sure we were attended.

There’s something for everyone at this cute and very chill burger spot! They have beef and chicken options, as well as a veggie burger and a salmon burger. And most of the burgers come in a mini size, which was actually a very good portion! My boyfriend had the special(beef burger with grilled pineapple), his brother had the lamb burger, and I had the mini salmon burger, and we all liked our options! The sides were pretty good as well(lots of choices: tots, fries, sweet potato fries, fried okra…). They have non-burger options as well: chicken tenders, nachos, fish sandwich, etc. They have beer, too. Service was good, very fast even though they were busy when we got there. They have outside seating(which is encapsulated in plastic in the winter months) which is really nice. And… its really affordable! If I lived in Birmingham, I’d hit this place up again if I was in the neighborhood!

Baha has had somewhat of an identity crisis in the past couple of years. It was Baha Burger, then Riff Burger and now it’s back to Baha. I assume some trademark of copyright issue with the name that they’ve obviously worked out. The menu didn’t really change in the transitions, at least as far as I could tell. It’s close to my house so we go there occasionally for a burger and beer. It’s a bit of a boutique burger joint. Chicken and Lamb burgers, Salmon and Pork and so on. For me they’re sandwiches, not burgers. Burgers are Hamburgers and are beef. They have those too, they just call them ‘Old School’. They have a couple of short order type appetizers as well as salads. I’ve really only had the specialty burgers and they’ve been good to very good. I really enjoyed the Lamb and Salmon. The Turkey was pretty good as well. I’ve been with company that has had the traditional beef burger and all gave it a thumbs up. They serve beer and perhaps they’ve added to their selection. This is a growing local craft town and if they haven’t they should. Last time I went it was the typical domestic and Mexican beer choices. Which is fine, but I’m fairly confident that they could sell local and do quite well with them. I’ll update this if I go back and they’ve hopped on board the craft train. It is clean, friendly and decent to very good food. It’s solid, affordable and convenient. Well except for parking trouble on occasion. It’s in a very busy strip mall located on a very busy road. They have some stiff competition from a place across the way and there are plenty of choices within walking distance but Baha Burger is a good place to go and you should enjoy it.

First time here, family was really impresses with the food. I had the chili cheeseburger minus the jalapeños. It was good, but since i did not get it the way they make it i cant say it was great. The fries were very good, nice and seasoned right. I will say one thing, the staff!!! Extremely nice and do a great job taking care of their customers… The wife has the grouper burger… She LOVED it. This place is a definite staple if you love burgers, and if your wife does not want red meat… Get the fish LOL. Note though, if they served Angry Orchard it would have been perfect :)

Really good food. Customer service was excellent. I had the blackened salmon. All in all, very good. I could have done with a little more blackening because it really didn’t seem blackened to me but still it was a lot of salmon and the fish was cooked just right. I had a side of onion rings which were a little bland in my opinion. My son had the chicken tenders which he said were excellent. The French fries are good too. My husband didn’t love his burger but he said it was OK. There’s a good amount of seating including outdoor seating. A few tvs with sports on them. It was very crowded and parking is not the greatest as this is a busy shopping center. However, well worth it.

I really love this place. I haven’t been there recently, though, because I am trying to cut back on my eating and I have NORESTRAINT here! Try the sweet potato fries with tomato chutney… off the chain! The lamb burger has a great Mediterranean taste with the feta cheese and yummy sauce. Salmon burger, you say? Don’t let the name put you off… it’s also SUPER. Turkey burger? Check! Also super. In the mood to go the traditional route? No problem! Regular old beef burgers are anything but. You probably won’t want to go traditional, though, when you come in and see the awesome décor and meet the ever-energetic and friendly owner! You really must go to this place. You’ll be glad you did.

Maybe the best burgers in town. This and Mugshots are neck and neck. Don’t miss a chance to eat here. Atmosphere– surfing safari! Surf boards hanging from ceiling. Live music(sometimes). Videos showing of surfing movies. Staff– Friendly. Always seem to be having a good time. Drinks– Some of the best milkshakes in town Food– This isn’t a normal burger joint. Yes they have a plane Jain burger but you must try all the other burgers they have. The salmon burger was a reach for me I tried it and loved it. The sweet potato fries mixed with the homemade sauces are amazing. I could sit in there all day and eat those while chatting with owner. He is a super nice guy and has great stories. Give thus place a shot and you will be back… again…and again… and again.

This place is still a five star place as it is one of the few default what’s for dinner places for me and my wife. I still love the salmon burger, bacon swiss burger, sweet potato fries with tomato chutney, and fried okra with ranch. I usually call ahead and get it to go. The order is always right and the staff is SOFRIENDLY! One of the best spots in Hoover.

Been driving past this place for the past 8 years, decided to give this place a try. It was pretty good, but it didn’t blow me away! The burgers are freshly made per order, the meal come with fries and a drink. I had the Baha Burger, it was pretty good!!!

Competent, attentive employees that are happy to serve you(Thx Cruz!). This restaurant seems fun with cool beachy, surfy, hula motif. You can sit in a clean, comfy, covered patio area w/covering to keep you out of the sun while fans create a breeze. You can even enjoy watching daredevil surfing videos sitting inside if you choose. I’m only giving 4 stars bc their fries lacked a crisp. However, they have the oh-so-cool option of half and half for sides selections. Now to the good part… Its hard to pick just one burger: buffalo chicken(large, spicy, and have 2 napkins nearby), lamb burger, bacon swiss(delish), fish sandwich, etc. Large and in– charge! Oh, wash them down w/a $ 1 Miller High Life… what, its the champagne of beers! Seriously though, for a good burger joint, this place is a fun alternative with more variety than the burger joint next door.

I had the Baha Beef Burger, on recommendation from the very friendly cashier. It was the special for the night, meaning it included fries and a drink, those things are normally ordered à la carte. The burgers normally cooked medium well, so specify if you want it cooked differently. I was temped to add a bottle of beer to my order, they had several to choose from. I settled on iced tea. The place was very clean and they had a roll up garage door to open up the place. Surfboards and skateboards hung on the pastel colored walls. It kinda reminded me of the movie Lords of Dogtown. My burger came out super hot and once I took my first bite, I couldn’t set it down. The burger was easily managed until about three quarters of the way through, then it got rather slippery and I needed several napkins. Anyways, the burger was awesome with the thick sweet pineapple mixed with the chipotle sauce. They were generous with the fries, which were plenty crispy for me(not burnt) and not mushy.
