It’s all right. I like the concept though they didn’t invent it. I like the execution. You walk through a cafeteria style line, picking your sauces, ingredients etc. The pizzas, even when the place is crowded, get to you pretty quickly which is nice. The actual pizza? Meh. They’re fine. It’s worth going and worth going again but it won’t be a regular for me. The pizzas are somewhere between a 2 and 3 for me. There are better options if you are a pizza junkie but this place is satisfying and has their routine down and does it well. It is small and I’m not thrilled with how the tables layout so if you go you might want to go slightly off peak. Just before or slightly after the lunch or dinner rush.

One of our family faves. It’s a build-your-own, as noted in previous reviews, but the portions are generous, and if they aren’t generous enough for you, they’ll add more! Atmosphere: The staff is always more than friendly and the place is always nice and clean. Plenty of room for a large group. They are quick to serve and as speedy as the people in line. Never felt like it was overwhelmingly noisy, even when we took our middle school-aged soccer team plus families! Lighting is a little dim, maybe but never bothered me really. Food: I always enjoy the food. Beware if you endeavor into the spicy zone: the spicy marinara plus crushed red pepper flakes on the pizza will make it near inedible, but that was my own fault. Half spicy marinara and half tuscan marinara is the way to go! The desserts are… fine. Not like in a fine china way, but in a «that’s fine, I guess» way. They wuill satisfy a sweet tooth, but are by no means gourmet. The salad, however, is fresh and a large serving! Watch the amount of dressing, though. Depending on the creator, it can be swimming in it.

Atmosphere– Big and roomy. Decorations. Are good looking and funny Staff– Always happy Food– This is like a Subway for pizza. If you don’t like what you got you probably didn’t order something you would like anyways. They have a ton of options for toppings and they will put a lot or a little of whatever you want. Everyone gets there own pizza made just the way they like it. We love this place!

Warning. Do not eat at this establishment. I got a to go order, and by the time I drove the twenty or so minutes back home my food was cold. The pie didn’t overwhelm my taste buds either. This was a once tried and done thing.

The Food is fresh yet fast! Reasonable prices… Its great for individual, family, couples and kids. It allows each customer the opportunity to create their own pizza which is unique. This is probably my new pizza place, would definitely go back.

Meh… Pie Five is just okay. In my opinion, it’s an under-executed version of the whole«build your own — with fresh ingredients — before your own eyes» pizza place concept. See my review of «Blaze» for somewhere that does this much better. I believe Blaze spoiled my ideal of this concept of restaurant. 7 – 8 bucks aint bad for a personalized pizza that literally comes to you in minutes… but it feels kinda small. At least the pan crust variety. There’s a considerably thick crust edge, which is typical of pan pizzas… but for the circumference to be so tight anyway… ease up on the crust man! There are several crusts to choose from, several sauces, and few ingredients/toppings. Nothing so numerous as to be overwhelming at all. Flavors are there, but nothing wowing either. I’ve been here twice, the second time forgetting that I thought it was just ok the first time. Doesn’t mean I won’t go again, just nothing that gets me hype about the meal to come. Very large restaurant. I’ve never seen more than 6 people in there at a time, but maybe I go at non-peak hours which is very likely. Sodas don’t come with pizzas. It’s just okay, I promise. Looking forward to the Pieology franchise over in The Summit. Their ingredient list alone, excites me for more of an experience like the one I had with Blaze. Enjoy!

Great concept! Pizza is excellent and love that you can really personalize it any way with unlimited toppings for the same price. Also has several crust choices which is nice. You can also get a kids pizza, my daughters favorite lunch spot.

I’m sure the pizza is great, but after waiting in line for 10 minutes and the line not making a move, I left.

I love Pie Five as I travel all over the country. Always consistent and the staff at this one is awesome! Super friendly and clean. This Pie Five is a definite stop for a hungry traveler looking for fresh ingredients and good conversation.

This is a great concept! A fresh pizza made to order that doesn’t nickel and dime you on every topping — they’re all included! As much or as little as you want. The toppings were fresh and prepped well. End result was a very good pizza(and the spicy marinara is SPICY… but very good) served fast. But that’s not why this will be a regular place for my family going forward. The service was excellent!!! The staff was very friendly and the shift manager that was on duty Saturday, Sept 12th went out of her way to make my family feel very welcome our first time. Including turning an extra beer we had paid for and left for later in the cooler into 2 of their excellent desserts. In an age of declining hospitality in the restaurant industry while the bills just keep getting higher, it’s really great to see a place that gives more value than what is charged. And top notch service as well. A very high recommendation from me and a lot of repeat business in the future.

This a great place to eat, especially for the price and the speediness of their service. I consider this the Subway of pizza, but with better ambiance, with staff that cares, and without the smell of musty bread all over you when you leave.

Cosmo Kramer: «I tell you this pizza idea is really going to happen; it’s a pizza place where you make your own pie!». Cleary ahead of his time. Kramer has created a whole new segment for the pizza industry. I really liked this place. It is similar to a Subway Sandwich shop, but they build your pie to order. Pie Five is a fast food chain, and the process is organized and efficient. The restaurant is much bigger than it apprears from the outside. The décor is clean and pleasing. I created my pie with spicy marinara sauce on the artisian thin crust. I added bacon, artichokes, and sun-dried tomatoes. The ingrediants were fresh, and I was pleased with how it came out. I also had a Caesar Salad and I was impressed that the salads are made fresh when ordered. I enjoyed my visit and I would definitely recommend it. They have a frequent diners card named the«Circle of Crust». After your first five pies, the next is free.

Been here once and pizza was ok for the concept of a subway sandwich. You build the puzza then they quickly cook/heat by the time you pay its ready. Taste was good but not a place to take serious. Kind of a cheap cheesy concept. Take a date here and she should never speak to you again! Great for kids and little league.

My date and I ate here tonight for the first time. I ordered my custom made pizza with Alfredo, beef, cheddar cheese, mozzarella and Parmesan. It was the best pizza I’ve ever ate, and I’ve eaten plenty. I first tried the Alfredo and beef combo at a pizza buffet years ago and loved it. But many chains and independently owned restaurants don’t offer Alfredo as a base sauce. Pie Five to the rescue! This place is nowhere near my neck of the woods, but it’s well worth the drive for the deliciousness I experienced tonight.

The pizzas are individually sized and can be ordered with thin, wheat, or regular crust. Also, there are several sauces to choose from, as well as many toppings. They have several menu options, or you can just create your own and add as many toppings as you want. I love the fact that all the pizzas cost the same, regardless of the toppings. Simplicity is often gold. Both pizzas I tried were great tasting, and the dough was excellent. I’d definitely come back if I was in the area and craving pizza. The portions are a good size if you’re on a strict diet, plus all the nutritional info is readily available online.

If you have a wheat allergy, this restaurant has done the most superior job I have witnessed to date in accommodating. My son has a legit wheat allergy and the GM, Jeremy, took personal interest in making sure that there was no contamination. Not that he had to because his staff was all over it. The staff here has no idea how much it meant to our family to get to enjoy a meal together at a restaurant without our son having to eat something we brought from home to keep him safe. The pizza was quite good and our son especially enjoyed his«special pizza». If you are wondering, this is an unbelievably fast custom pizza restaurant that you need to try. It is perfect for people who like to experiment with pizza or are just very particular. Check them out. They are an asset to our community!

Great hospitality and high-quality, made-on-demand pizzas/salads. Pick a specialty pizza or salad and follow it down the line as it is built. A quick trip through a conveyor-belt and your pie is done. But wait! Get some magic dust and fresh herbs sprinkled on at the end. The owners/operators have many years in the restaurant industry and have a promising future for this franchise. There is nothing like this in the area and it I s great for a quick midweek lunch(less than 30 minutes) or a leisurely family dinner. Simple beer selection and enticing dessert options(conveniently placed in front of you as you await your pizza). Moderately priced and a definite re-visit!

I wanted to try Pie Five since it opened a week ago. When I came in, I was welcomed by a nice young lady who described the process of creating my own personal pizza and shared how I could also bundle my pizza with a salad and drink or a dessert and drink for $ 9.99. I ended up selecting the High Five and the Chicken Carbonara, with a side salad and drink. I watched the people(there were a LOT behind the counter, but only 2 worked on my order) prepare each pizza and put it in the oven. I walked to the register and was asked if I wanted a salad. When I said yes, I was sent back through the line to get my salad, which was interesting that they sent me back. The salad was small, but it fit into the cute pizza bowl they made for salads. All in all, the pizza tasted okay(wasn’t fantastic, but wasn’t terrible). I may go back to try another type of pie.
