We phoned in an order, excited to try a new place and were extremely disappointed. First of all, we weren’t familiar with the menu and asked for something comparable to a medium because we wanted to try two different types and didn’t need big pizzas. When we picked up our order, one pizza was an appropriate size and the other was bigger than a card table. They said our total was $ 58… FIFTYEIGHTDOLLARS for what was supposed to be 2 medium sized pizzas. Then the check out guy requested a tip on our to go order. I’m all about tipping for great service but that is not what we received. It was our fault for not opening the giant pizza box prior to leaving, but when we got home, our pepperoni pizza was actually a mushroom, green peppers, and pepperoni pizza. The pizzas were very disappointing. They were undercooked and tasted less than mediocre. We always save leftovers to eat the next day, but unfortunately we threw away the rest of our enormous pizza because no one wanted to eat it again. Nearly $ 60 down the drain. Even if the experience had been better and the order had been correct, we still would never order from here again based on taste of pizza alone.

This is the first time I’ve been at this restaurant and it will be the last. I came in with a group of 20 people including 8 children. The proprietor is extremely rude, and has been shooting dirty looks at the kids, and has asked us to «move down» so that he could«free up a table». There was nowhere for us to «move down». I will grant that the kids are hyped up after a cheer competition, but there is absolutely no excuse for how incredibly rude and hateful the owner /manager /whoever is acting. DONOT come to this establishment. I have not been treated so badly by a restaurant in years.

I’m giving this place 1 star due to the rudeness of the owner. Twice now, I have held birthday parties here and both times was treated very rudely. The first time I went in beforehand to let them know we would have several in the party. His question to me was«how long would we be there.» This time I brought in my family for a family birthday, and exactly one hour later, as we were getting ready to leave, he came over and asked us to leave because another group was going to leave since there was no room for them. I probably wouldn’t have been so miffed if this had been the first time, but it has happened the only 2 times we have been there. The huge pizza is a novelty, but the rudeness of the owner is not. Will not go back.

This was a quick stop for dinner before practice. The slices are huge! It’s NYC style and that is the only way to eat pizza. We split a garden salad and order two fountain drinks. It was a perfect meal and quick!

I went on a Friday night around 7; it wasn’t the best time in terms of getting a seat in the restaurant. I switched my order to «to go» in the middle of them making my meat calzone. It was delicious, though I’m not too sure if it was my absolute favorite. Their pizzas looked very tempting, especially the 36″ pizzas. And I understand that they serve giant pizza slices for lunch at a pretty reasonable price. Will return to try the pizza and am considering them for catering. Definitely try this if you get a chance.

I’ve never seen pizza slices this huge. I went her for lunch. A great value for the money. This place is worth checking out.

Loved it! Will definitely be back. The whole family was happy. We had the calzones and a 12×12 Sicilian pizza. Update: Recently ordered a 24″ to go. It was very greasy and thin. Not a hit with my family. And forget about left overs. It is so thin that it turns to mush.

The missing stars is because their online ordering is not perfect. They get the order thru a 3rd party but dude forgot to put it in their system so I now have to wait when it should have been waiting on me. Beware of the online ordering. He simply forgot so its likely not a big issue but I can’t give 5 on that. Pizza is good, hopefully the 24inch I ordered is worthy.

Went here tonight for my brother in laws birthday. We ordered the 32″ Pazzo’s special pizza thin crust. It was huge!!! I could barely finish one piece. We all thought it could have used more marinara sauce on the base of the pizza. We had to ask for a side. Other than that, I’d go back. The staff was really nice. They made a birthday poster for the birthday guy.

My wife and I had a coupon and Italian sounded good. We went in and ordered what turned out to be the freshest and best calzone we had ever eaten. While we were there they were bring out 30″ pizza’s! They were the biggest, most delicious looking pizza’s I had ever seen. Can’t wait to get my 7 grandchildren and take them to Pazzo’s for Pizza. They will be blown away. Moderately priced and fantastic!

This is the first time here and we are here for takeout… tables have been served and left while we have waited. Finally they have admitted to just forgetting about us. So free canoli. Not the service I would expect for the price. Will I go back??? I’ll just go down the street to Salvatore’s.

This was my first trip back since the menu was changed. I must admit I miss the build your own calzone format. However food quality is still there. I had the Tutto Meat Calzone. Portion sizes are huge. Wait for freshly prepared and baked is reasonable. Next time I will try the lunch special $ 7.99 for a xx-large slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza with a salad and drink.

This place is very good. I have been a couple times. Once when it was more of a build your own calzone place, now as a pizza by the slice with plenty of options. They have updated the décor a bit inside. I have had delicious calzones, lasagna, bread, and chicken parmigiana here. it is definitely worth a visit, and the staff is quite friendly.

Good stuff, great pizza. A little pricey if you order the wrong size but still a good pie.

Went here last week! They have huge pizza! Their 32″ is not available for take out unless you have a container. No man has built a pizza box this large, yet! Pazzo is supposedly getting one custom made! Cool! Everything was great, service, cold salad, great calzone(huge) and pizza fabulous. Zebra cake dessert was OMG and I am not normally a fan of dessert. Rating should reflect it was quite hot in dining area but granted it was a 98 degree day.

Food and service were excellent! I had the Pazzo Special calzone and it was excellent. My boyfriend got a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was excellent too! I highly recommend this place.

Pepperoni slice was pretty good. not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. Definitely needed to add the garlic sprinkle stuff provided on the table to give the slice that extra kick it needed. I’ll definitely go back and try something else.

I really like Pazzo! The customer service was great. The employees took time to explain how everything works and explained the ingredients very thoroughly.(my first time). I was pleased with the calzone… it was huge and very delicious. Their dough, vodka sauce, and marinara on top were phenomenal! I’d recommend others to try and I’m definitely returning.

I ate at Pazzo’s for my first time today. I really like the concept of having a Calzone made to order. The restauraunt is set up like a Subway, where you see the ingredients and choose what you want. There are lots of options to choose from. I also like seeing the fresh dough ball being flattened to create my calzone. My first calzone included ziti, classic tomato sauce, spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni slices, spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, and mozzarella. I thought it woud be a good combination. I was expecting big things but it came out a little dry and was missing something. I can’t put my finger on it, but it just didn’t have a lot of flavor. I will mix it up and ask for extra sauce next time. This is a unique concept; it reminds me of Kramer’s classic idea of «build your own pie.» And there is another Seinfeld episode featuring the calzone. George gets Steinbrenner hooked on eggplant calzones from a nearby restauraunt. George gets banned from the restaurant when the worker catches him taking money from the tip jar. Very funny episode. The calzones are really big and very reasonably priced in my opinion. I would try again.

Having grown up in Brooklyn NY I went into the place not expecting to be happy with what they had to offer. Keep in mind a «Traditional» Calzone is Ricotta, Mozzarella and maybe a little pecorino or parm cheese. So I looked for the traditional ingredients, and they had them except the Ricotta had roasted cloves of garlic in it. Now while it tasted fine, I would have liked to have had the option to have a traditional set of ingredients. None the less, after closely scrutinizing the ingredients, looking for the junky sausage balls that pizza places use or the pre-made meatballs from a bag, I found none. So I thought I had a good chance to put something together that would be good. I ordered one with Ricotta, Mozzarella, Spinach, Meatball and Sausage and asked that they put the sauce on the side. It arrived faster than I expected and it was covered in sauce(opps) so instead of complaining I just scraped it off because I was sure it was going to be an acidity cheese stick kind of sauce, my wife tried her sauce, she gave it the thumbs up and I tried it and also agreed. It was not acidity at all, it was fresh, light and the surprises kept coming. The sausage and the meatballs, very fresh, not like the junk you get on a pizza from oh maybe Dominos, actually all ingredients were great so I came in expecting to be disappointed and walked out very pleasantly surprised. Now some of the things that they offer to put inside the Calzone, like Ziti pasta and cream sauce, took me as a little strange, but I have no reason to believe they were not just as tasty as the other ingredients. By the way«Pazzo» means Crazy in Italian, you’d be crazy not to give the place a try. I was very surprised with the quality of the food!
