Pizza Hut

Okay, I don’t know why my friends are always complaining about this place? I received nothing, but HOT deliciousness from this place every time I order delivery. The online app is very customer friendly and makes for a quick and easy process! It’s my ol reliable when I’m feeling like a chain style pizza. Now, I have no idea what the service is like on the inside, but it’s hard to believe it’s that bad if the food delivery is this good. I’ll find out soon.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA HUT! I was told the wait for delivery was 50 minutes which I agreed to. When the delivery was 20 minutes late, I called to check on my order. I was told it was on the way, and they gave me a three dollar discount. However, I was given a new total that was not the same total that was given to me when I placed the order. So, once we got the actual total squared away, I was told the food was on its way. 30 minutes later, I get a call to ask if I still want my order. Not only had it not left the store, but they hadn’t even started making it. So, two hours after my original order, I’m at Little Caesars getting my dinner.

Waitresses not very attentive. Came in and asked for our drinks and only brought one for the table of three… Had to ask after waiting a few minutes and then walking by a few times if we could have a cup for everyone at the table. They also walk by a few times and won’t ask if you need a refill even if you try to get their attention. Too busy socializing. Food is what is to be expected during the lunch buffet– warm at best but very filling. Slow to replace things that run out.

The Pizza Hut buffet for dinner on Tuesdays and lunch Monday-​Friday is an excellent deal, and I consistently come to this location for the buffet. The price is reasonable, and kids eat free, making for a great dinner at a low price. I usually get a custom veggie pizza, and it always turns out great! While the staff consistently changes at this location, the previous time I went here there was great service, and a great manager. Would come back for the pizza buffet.

Worst Pizza Hut of all time! First experience about a year ago I called to get delivery and they claimed that I wasn’t in there area even though the website said they did. When I asked to talk to a manager the girl hung up on me. Today (a year later) I give them another try and order two large dinner boxes online for a 12:00 delivery at 10:30am. Pizza arrived 10 minutes late and wasn’t even prepared they way I requested online. I guess five large three topping pizzas are to difficult for this place to figure out. Look else where for delivery as there are much better options in Hoover.

Seriously… I’m not sure what happened to this location, we used to never have a problem. It’s convenient, so I overlooked it the first time as just a bad employee/​bad night. I will never spend my money here again. Past three experiences: ¹⁰⁄₂₇ They called 30 mins after delivery time and said they were out of pizza, told my husband they were closed & that he would have to call their corporate # for a refund (???). The corporate office was friendly, offered him a $ 5 coupon, he still he didn’t have dinner since everything was closed. Sat. ¹¹⁄₃ ordered pizza for kids… 30 minutes after the estimated pick up time still sitting in the restaurant waiting on the food. Tonight my husband went to pick up an order — the estimated pick up time was 5:55. He was still waiting at 6:30, they finally gave him a pizza that had been sitting on the counter for ten minutes and said it was just made. He wanted to walk out but he had paid them when he first went in the store. He called their corporate # and they told him he would need to talk to the store location manager and that any complaints with the store have to be filed directly with them. Obviously, we’ve tried that already, so instead we will just stop buying from them. Instead of being helpful the employees were rude and arguing with each other. Re-​staff or something.
