Thyme Out Grill

This place, although has a charming atmosphere and pretty good food, has a horrible staff. When I came in no one welcomed me even though it wasn’t busy. They sent out the deli girl, who said she had no waitress experience, to wait on us. I asked what her favorite item on the menu was and she described everything on the menu. I think she was nervous and, like I said before, not a waitress. She also had ripped her pants, and they still let her walk around the front and serve people food.
After waiting 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches and fries, only one of my party members got their order right. When we got our check she said they’d take off for the fries but added a whole other meal to our check. We sat there for another 5 – 10 minutes as they blamed the computers for their wrong doings. They said it was a new computer and they weren’t used to the system… if you’re not used to the system yet why are you using it for the public? Almost all cash register programs have a training program on it.
All in all the food was good, the menu has words all over it and is very hard to take in, the people we’re friendly but unprofessional, and the atmosphere was very warm and family.
I will not be going again. I don’t care how good a sandwich is; I will not wait 45 minutes for a sandwich and fries, just to not get what I ordered.

Horrible. Used to love this place when it was the Parkside Café. They kept some of the same waitresses but one waitress is a bitch, the new waitress we had was just a slow moron. The food and coffee tasted fine, but it took them about 40 min to bring it out. A pork roll & cheese on a roll and an order of french toast w/​bacon. That doesn’t take 40 min. And they forgot the bacon until we had to remind them twice.
I could also pick out from the tables around us that those people were not happy with their food or at least the service provided. One family ordered banana pancakes and the waitress is going on and on about the pancakes and all of a sudden stops and tells them they ran out of bananas. Those people were pissed!
