Lindees Saloon & Eatery

CLOSED. Out of business. Called. Number no longer in service. Drove by yesterday and signs saying auction posted on the building. Was in here last summer and it looked like it was on its last leg. Indeed it was.

I like playing cards here Tuesday and Sunday nights, staff is very nice, nice to be able to play music on juke box. Atmosphere is laid back not too loud, friendly people, burgers are good. Service can be slow during cards if they have newer waitress, but jess does a great job and is always happy and friendly.

Absolute worst dining experience I have had in the twin cities area. Our food was awful and the service was ten times worst. I got a rack of ribs and the other people in my group got the chicken and ribs. All of it was dry and mainly fat. I hardly finished most of it because there was more fat on the bones than meat. Our waitress took over ten min to even ask us if we needed drinks, even longer to take our food order, and then she never told us we had to pay for refills on soda, so one of the people in my group got charged for 4 drinks, when she didn’t even mention we had to pay for refills. When we were ready to order my boyfriend ordered the grilled parmesan and she asked if that was really on the menu. It was. I chose not to leave a tip because she was so awful. I checked my card statement the next day and they charged 20% more to my bill than was suppose to be charged. I can understand some places charge this in case you leave gratuity, but when I called to ask for a manager they said they didn’t have one and the owner would give me a call back. He never did. Needless to say I will never come here again.

A step above a dive bar with good beer and decent food. Try the ribs.

NOT IMPRESSSED. service was very bad and i paid on credit card it was 38.19 and when i looked at my account online it said i was charged 45.83. I called and she said that happens and i should wait til it goes through the bank and then it should show the right amount… well we will see. Im keeping my receipt and making call to manager since there was not one there when I called.

Been passing this place for awhile and always wanted to saunter on in… finally made it and will be baaaaaccckkk! This place speaks to me. They had a full parking lot and a big sign announcing that they had meat raffles and all you can eat ribs. Yeeehawwwww.
I found a seat at the bar and the daughter and I had 2 for 1 screwdrivers. The female bartender was efficient friendly and had a little sass which is great!
We got the all you can eat ribs and broasted chicken for 10.00 make ya holler… The chicken was better than the ribs but still a great value. They have a juke box and it was fun to see what people were playing.
They also have bar bingo that is free to play if you are drinking and eating… the jackpot is up to 3900… I must go back for that.

I just plain old like this place. If going here I wouldn’t hold too high of an expectation unless dive bar is what you are going for… but as far as dive bars are concerned this place is great. Sometimes when you go into a place like this you expect your typical Flo as a waitress, the ever so cranky server that only responds kindly to the regulars that have been coming in for years, however, I have been pleasantly surprised by the good service here. The two for one’s they offer on a daily basis can get you into a bit of trouble much like Liquor Lyles but hey, what a deal. Decently good food, nice divey atmosphere… sometimes it’s just what the doctor ordered.

Lindee’s is a dive bar in the park. I love when it someone suggests stopping in for a drink or two. The food is ok, but I go for the happy hour!

Gregory Lasica loves the prime rib. I believe they only make it on weekends. They are super fast when you call in order. Great dive bar food.

Good greasy ribs, chicken and other bar food. Jukebox, pool tables and a few video games are available. This place isn’t classy but it is good. Also they have all you can eat ribs and chicken deals but I can’t eat more than the regular serving anyway.

This isn’t anything I would write home about. I have been here several times since the BF lives right over here. We have been there to play Lingo a few times, which is a fun little thing they have. The food is cheap, but nothing of steller quality. This place is very dive bar small town feeling but never busy… ever. We have tried evening for dinner, late night on weekends for drinks… and its never packed! The food quality is not that amazing and there are some other places I would go before dining out, but it works… its just nothing that I would recommend to anyone who is around…

The only reason I go here is for the 2 for 1’s. I’ve ordered 2 sets of shots and 2 coronas for cheaper than I’ve gotten 2 drinks in Uptown.

Knockin’ round some balls while relaxin with my friends, ordering some grub, taking advantage of the two-​fer-​ones most of the evening. Plenty of space to just chill. Can’t help but like this place.

Get the BBQ Burger, add American Cheese, have it cooked Med & you’ve got a good ‘ol fashioned burger that’ll make your mouth water. Delish!

Good dive bar. Cheep beer and pull tabs. The food was actually pretty good, I had the fried wings which are ‘broasted’, and were very tasty. Good place to go when you have had a bad day.

Love love love Lindees! Old school tavern with the best 2−4 – 1’s in the area and the owner is on site most of the time to be sure everyone is happy. Food is based on a smokehouse style with an amazing all you can eat broasted chicken and ribs for $ 10.95. darn good deal. lingo on
Mondays and Wednesdays always packs the place and is a lot of fun. one of my favorite bars to have a few drinks and good times with friends.

Solid food.
This was my 3^rd time visiting Lindees and each time I have had the same experience. Good food but service that is sub-​par. a quick rundown of issues. Wait staff that didn’t introduce themselves or offer greeting. No review of specials, we ordered drinks and didn’t see the wait staff for 20 minutes. Ordered food and had to go up to the bar 1 plus hours after walking in to ask to pay.
This place could be so much better if it was a bit cleaner and the staff cared at all about customer service.

Seriously one of the coolest hiden bars in Hopkins, very old school north Minnesota dive. Lingo «bingo» is awesome on Mondays and Wednesdays– I won the bacon once and it is delicious and they smoke it in house. Also, love the two for drinks from 3 – 6 and 9 – 10 as well as two for one drink tokens given out when the vikings score. The bartender Russ makes the drinks really strong! Definately worth the money (jack and coke costs $ 4.70).
Its a good place to go if you like pool, buck hunter, pull tabs, meat raffles, darts, texas hold-​em and pretty damn good bar food.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place in Hopkins that doesnt charge a cover or attract the typical college age drunk kids.

This place is a blast to northern MN — crappy wine, cold beer, Guns N Roses for music, pool, pull tabs and some roulette type wheel. I’m pretty sure every night after 9 it’s 2 for 1s… dangerous.
Overall a fun non-​pretentious night out where you don’t have to worry about what you where or putting make-​up on.
I wouldn’t recommend the food — but if you want a dive bar this is an excellent choice PLUS taco bell and white castle are footsteps away ;)
