Stopped to check out one of Aggieland’s newest restaurants and bars inside the now Four Points by Sheraton. While this hotel has changed names and ownership multiple times over the years, the restaurants have as well and it’s been interesting to watch. Here in the past we found an outstanding Chinese restaurant, followed by an Indian restaurant and for a brief time in between a Mexican restaurant that had a great following on Facebook.
The newest incarnation is the Fireside Café & Bar. And what do they have on tap? Karbach Hopadillo IPA from Houston and none other than Skylight Dunkelweizen from New Republic Brewery in College Station. Hell yeah. Local brew is spreading out. It tasted very fresh and they said that they will have the brand new seasonal next week.
Large, open and very clean establishment. Great place to taste the homebrew of Aggieland. Easy parking and full food menu as well.
