West End is a great area to enjoy drinks and food in a low key atmosphere. There are many great places in the area but Yard House is at the top of my list! The happy hour prices are great and service is always top notch. Love the huge beer selection and the Moscow mules are to die for! The food selection is great too… It’s slightly overwhelming as the menu has a few too many choices making it difficult to know what’s actually good and hard to make a decision. However, with all the choices I’ve never been disappointed in my choice! There’s always a chill atmosphere and good time at Yard House!

We love this place. The Hot Nashville Chicken is great.(Not spicy at all) The pancakes are amazing! Blackened Chicken Torta very yummy. Steak Sandwich was perfect. And you have to get the apple peach cobbler! Can’t wait to go back!

Lunch with a friend resulted in an enjoyable experience at YH with mixed reviews on the meal. I had the kale salad with blackened chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it, while my friend had the barbecue chicken salad and found the lettuce to be mostly the yellow center hearts of iceberg lettuce and the tortilla strips to be soggy. Having said that, I’ve had 3 good experiences at YH and recall their happy hour to be exceptional. I will definitely return. I will say that I hate the West End area because of the disjointed parking and access to the restaurants — you need to park a mile away, walk through the wind tunnel to get to YH, Cooper’s, Blue Fox, Crave, etcetera. The parking ramps are confusing and access to the theater is through convoluted blank hallways. The architects on the complex should be hung by their toes and fed Ex-Lax for this one.

Food was really good. Lots of beer selection. It was pretty quiet over lunch, but I’d like to get back with my wife on a date here.

For the price and compared to other excellent restaurants at West End, it didn’t wow me enough to want to go back anytime soon.

Great menu, lots of choices and extensive beer list. It was borderline overwhelming. I went on a Tuesday night with friends and it was packed to the brim! People were even lined up to get a seat. I recommend going during happy hour because the prices are a bit more reasonable. Servers were a bit scattered, but with not an empty seat in the house, that’s to be expected. You’ll have to talk loudly here but get ready to have good food so you won’t even need to talk!

If you like to yell to have conversations while eating, you’ll love this place. This is not a very gluten free friendly place. Don’t get me wrong, they have a gluten free menu, which has an out dated beer list. Marisa, our server explained the vampire taco to us, which sounded great with cheese crusted on the outside. What she didn’t tell me is that the corn tortillas don’t have that cheese. I ordered the GF rice(brown rice). What I got was the regular rice with gluten. A different server noticed my GF beer on the table and asked if I wanted the GF rice. I said that I had ordered the brown rice. He brought the brown rice out to me. You know how to make brown rice inedible? — Do nothing to the flavor. I mentioned we were out for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Marisa said OK and no other acknowledgement from Marisa the rest of the night. I saw another table get a scoop of ice cream with a candle. We did not. Maybe they ordered it. Then there was the food. French onion soup is worth it, chicken penne with asparagus was nice, tacos were good except for the blackened fish taco. That taco was extra crispy and not very fresh. I’ve been here one other time before and it was a better experience than tonight. I’ll probably give it one more chance before I’m done with the place.

Nice ambience. Lots of beers to choose from. French fries were not very fresh. Hamburger was average. Reasonable prices. Good happy hour hours and discounts.

Gran lugar para tomar unas buenas cervezas y compartir con los amigos. Hay más de 100 opciones de cervezas para elegir y la comida es muy buena; altamente recomendable.

My lady found this place. We were driving nearby and looking for a place so we busted out Unilocal and did our due diligence and came up with this place. Based on the menu I didn’t expect an ultra modern, industrial looking, hipster brew pub with food. Reading the reviews I saw a pic for a turkey pot pie with some raving to go along so I went in that direction. I was delivered this massive thing the size of a steering wheel. It was beautiful. I then found that the first two inches of he circle were crust baked to the bowl. I was instantly underwhelmed. Tasted good, but I felt like I was tricked as to the portion. As I got to the filling I found the pastry was undercooked above the filling, still tasted nice and buttery. The filling as far as I know had no turkey as all. The vegetable were underdone and crunchy(I like them like that) so that was a plus. Other than that the filling tasted like a frozen pot pie you can buy from the store. My lady got a chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and a burton gravy. She said it was wonderful. You’d have to look to her review which I’m sure would be far better than mine. The place is too loud and the food I had was average at best. Poor value for the price that we paid.

You know what u should drink here. I would love to eat BBQ Ribs here. They come along with a side of sweet corn and Beans. Once u taste it, u will never ever switch your dish in the next visit. They have very good stuff for Happy Hour. Don’t visit this on a Friday Night or Saturday Night. Just to save more Bucks. ;) All other days u have lots of deals

A friend of mine told me about this place when I confided in her that I was trying to expand my beer palate. The girls and I went to Yard House on s Friday evening expecting to wait for a while to b seated especially outside. It was a 5 minute wait. Con: happy hour ends at 6 and there’s no late happy hour option. That’s it. Pros: their beer list is EXTENSIVE! We had some nachos(meh), street tacos — chicken and fish(yummy), and the spicy/hot edamame(I need this recipe like yesterday)! Our server was knowledgeable about their menu and gave some awesome recommendations! The ½ yard size beer is a sight for sore eyes

I don’t give many restaurants five stars, especially chains, but the Yardhouse totally deserves it. I loved their speciality ice teas. I had the server order for me. I received a turkey pot pie that was big enough for two. The Yardhouse makes the dough fresh daily. The turkey and carrots were bigger than silver dollars and cooked to perfection. The Yardhouse is one of a rare few of chain restaurants that I can’t wait to eat at again.

Yard House seemed like a typical American bar-food restaurant for me. I had a good drink and food but the experience was very similar to other restaurants I have been to like this. Free parking in the ramp was great and convenient. My group of five got seated immediately(Friday @ 5:30pm) but we were seated in the back and it was so so dark! I would have liked the place to feel a bit brighter because it was a nice, hot summer day outside. Our server said if we ordered drinks now we could get the happy hour special so I opened up the drink menu and was so overwhelmed! I couldn’t really tell if the happy hour specials were good because on the HH menu it just said $ 2 off etc so then I had to flip to the drink menu and see how much it would cost since all drinks were different. Ended up with a specialty drink that was fun and fruity. For an appetizer we split the guacamole and it was good but only came with a few chips so our server had to replenish them twice. Luckily for dinner I checked out the menu online before coming. It probably took me 10 minutes to decide because their menu is so dang big! I would rather go to a place that specializes in a few dishes rather than offering everything from pizza to Asian to tacos to seafood! Very overwhelming! Ended up getting the Chicken Rice Bowl — it was very good and ended up being great leftovers as well. I enjoyed my experience here celebrating my friend’s birthday because it accommodated our group and had a variety of options so everyone could find something they liked but if I were to go out again I would prefer something a little more unique and specialized.

Yeah, this place is a cheesy chain. But seriously, that beer list. I love that they offer smaller sizes of glasses, so that you can work your way through a few tasty options. I came in for happy hour and while the prices weren’t life changing, and much of the food was standard fried food, the beer list and the food list was pretty hefty. We settled on the nachos and they were AWESOME. Huge. The two of us split them for dinner at $ 7 and were full. I’ll be back pre or post movie viewing when I’m in the area to tackle for of that beer list, for sure.

PROS: Been to the Yard House a few times. The Food is great! Menu has a few off the norm items, and plenty of vegetarian-friendly items. Ordered the Pastrami Benedict Burger, SUPER Messy. In fact I had to remove the Pastrami it was too much to grab and eat but the béarnaise sauce w/the egg… this burger was great! Love the skinny fries at this place too. CONS: Ok, would it hurt to turn on a few lights at this joint??? At night… ok, dim is fine. Noon lunch and the place is Pitch Black. It’s alittle overkill and annoying. Service – hit or miss, but nothing too bad.

This review has nothing to do with the food, because I’ve never had the food here. I usually end up here for drinks later in the night. The space is so weird later at night. The dimmed lights and giant space always highlights how half full the place is. Is this place ever full? It’s so large, and even with people there it feels so empty. The cocktails are nothing to write home about. The balance in them is often a little strange, but they’re still drinkable. The servers are usually harried, despite the perceived emptiness. Seriously, I don’t know if this place is actually empty when it looks that way, or if it’s just a trick of the design. Not sure why you’d design your restaurant to look permanently empty, though. This place just confuses me. Must be why I keep going back.

I’ve been to this Yard House before, but this particular time hasn’t been my favorite because of my entrée choice. First off, my family is crazy. We came in with a group of 10 loud and chaotic humans on Mother’s Day, but I really did appreciate how well Yard House handled us! Haha! For the food — it was around lunch time, so you can order off their lunch menu. There is a select number of items on there that come with either soup or salad. This was a better deal, since I do think that Yard House food prices can get a little high. We ordered our appetizers first: chips and guac, nachos and calamari. The guac was fresh and the calamari was good. The nachos are my all time favorite appetizer because it’s a huge portion size and SO good! Great for a big group to share, too. For my entrée, I ordered the fish taco combo — one swordfish and one volcano. The volcano taco was good, but the swordfish taco was not so good. It tasted extremely fishy(good fish isn’t supposed to taste fishy) and just old. The tacos were pretty dry with barely any sauce. The rice seemed oily and it upset my stomach. My dad also had fish tacos and agreed they tasted old and fishy. I didn’t finish them, but instead had some bbq pizza from my boyfriend and that was good! All of the other entrees and appetizers I’ve tried have been great though, minus the fish. For the service — it was awesome! Our server was a real trooper working with our difficult table! I’m not kidding — were the loud people with two little rascals climbing under tables and being too loud. She was extremely accommodating, very attentive and super helpful. I would recommend going here for happy hour because the prices are more affordable. Happy hour has always been a good choice for Yard House, so I would come back for that for sure! Yard House has great food all around, but I think I’ll pass on the fish for a while!

I loved it! My server was amazing. I wish there was a place like this a little closer to home because it’s kinda out of the way, and it’s not a place I would make a special trip to go to, but if it was nearby I would frequent it more often! I got there a little bit early and it was happy hour and my server was great about suggesting and selecting a happy hour cocktail for me. I let her choose and it was perfect! When I asked her about a few things on the menu she said the ahi tuna salad was her favorite, and it was my top selection, so I knew I was going to order that. I also got a blackened swordfish taco on the side. My friend got the crab cakes and calamari and a taco too. I had bites of hers and it was delicious! My tuna salad was to die for and I loved every bite. I also loved how they have calories listed on the menu. I try to(usually) make healthy choices and when restaurants offer this, I really appreciate it and it makes me want to return!

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Love the area and loved the atmosphere of the Yard House. I was disappointed they were out of deviled eggs. Got the crab cakes and they were fabulous, I was impressed by the presentation. We got the BBQ chicken pizza and it was very good. Could use a little more toppings, but the crust was very good. We also got a hamburger, I ordered it medium well. The burger came very rare. The waitress took it back to the kitchen where we could see what was happening. I had cut the burger in half and the kitchen staff was now very carefully removing each half from the bun and toppings. They then proceeded to place it on the grill. The fries that came with the burger were cold and were now under a heat lamp. When the waitress came back to let us know, we informed her we would like to see the manager. The manager came and we explained the situation, no argument, he said do you mind waiting while I make this right? He had the cut in half burger and plate thrown out and a new ordered placed. I am concerned they would take a burger that has been topped and cut and place it back on the grill, kinda disturbing to me. The manager sent out hot fries while we waited, soon the burger arrived with more hot fries. The burger was cooked exactly as requested and was magnificent. The manager stopped by to make sure it was correct. The check arrived and we were ready to pay, but the manager stopped by again and asked if he could provide a dessert on the house. He sent out the macadamian nut cheese cake. Absolutely amazing and the manager was fabulous. I will definitely stop at the yard house if back in the area, the food was outstanding and the cheesecake incredible. I am very thankful the manger takes exceptional pride in serving food as requested and didn’t try to send that burger back out.
