IMSOSOMADTHATTHEYARECLOSEDDOWN!!! This was my absolute favorite restaraunt, great servers, awesome friendly bartenders, and the cooks would personally come to bringg me my food…(I was a regular on mondays, margaritas 2 for $ 3.23!!! AMAZING) Huge disappointment that they shut down. One star for that. Ive been to many other Chile’s and this was the only one that got it right everytime. A piece of my restaraunt love has died with the closing of Chile’s, St. Louis Park. RIP

It appears they’ve closed. Drove by last night, and it was dark, and the Chili’s logo has been painted over on the building.

Walking into the place I was welcomes by a friendly host and sat down at a small two person table. After asking to move we were friendly seated in a nice spacious booth. The environment was very casual and it had the ambiance of a fun bar. I did not feel that this would be something to take someone from work, but rather if I wanted to drink in the evening. The restaurant was pretty loud and we did have to raise our voices a little to be able to hear each other, and we were not seated near the bar but in the restaurant area. The menus were very nicely done and brought on a very delicious menu. Upon meeting our waitress we had decided to order drinks. The waitress did correct me on my drink choice so that I was able to receive the buy-one-get-one free special for Happy Hour. I ordered a margarita, which seemed to have been made incorrectly as it was extremely sour, but still was okay. The flavor that I had ordered did not seem to be present in the drink at all. The Blackberry Ice Tea was extremely tasty though. We had ordered the Tostada Chips & Fire-Grilled Guacamole for our appetizer. The guacamole was very well made and we enjoyed the awesome salsa and fresh chips. This stood out in my mind as the positive about the meal. Our food had a very nice presentation. I had ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta and my guest had ordered the Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs with Home-style Fries. Like I said, nice presentation. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was supposed to be spicy and with the entire plate, only two pieces of chicken were spicy. The pasta was just that, Alfredo. I feel like I missed out on the spice that I so love. The food did seem a little bland on my plate. My guest had me try his ribs. Now I have had ribs before, I love them. He had asked about Chili’s to the point of that is what they are known for. The ribs seemed a little dry and as if they were either sitting out under a heat lamp or cooked in a microwave. I have to say that serving fries with ribs brings about a little bit of a stance that this is not a serious restaurant. The check did take a while to get to us and the server was nice. However this restaurant was pretty«mainstream» as I have heard. The price for two was priced at about $ 30. I would find this hard to rate as a four.

Really, really good. You HAVE to try a bacon burger and the beef fahihtas(how do you spell that?)

My husband and I ordered Chili’s to go just this evening. It was our first time ordering food to go from this particular location. It also turned out to be the last time. The food was ready for us when we got there, so things started off well. But when we got the food home, I took a look at my cheeseburger and realized it was not made how I had ordered it(mustard only… not too difficult), and it looked like it had been sitting for a while(it was nearly impossible to take the top part of the bun off as it did not want to separate from the cheese). Also, they did not get my side order correct. The order tag on top of my box had my order right(side of mashed potatoes), but inside the box was french fries. There’s a sticker on the top of the box that says, «Made right by: ______» and of course, there was no name in the blank. Because I was very hungry, I ate the burger anyway, but it kind of sucked. I had really been looking forward to a good burger. I received an email from Chili’s asking me to rate my online ordering experience, but much to my chagrin I realized the receipt I was given did not have the 12-digit customer code I needed to complete the survey. Perfect. That was when I decided to turn to Unilocal. At least I’ll get my two cents in this way.

We went there on Friday nite, suprisingly it was quiet or because it was a day after thanksgiving? The decoration was so so kinda weird feeling for the things they put there if they wanted to look like latin America I didn’t really feel it… the waiter was attentive. Chips and salsa were good so do boneless chicken wings and onion rings with jalapeño. The ribs was ok. French fries was too salty. Chicken fajitas was so so for me, if they could make the veggies more appealing other than look mushy and brown and more spice on the chicken. Rasberry tea was ok it wasn’t sweet but I like it that raspberry I could taste a real tea on it. I would say overall this place is good on their appetizer and the service. Too bad I didn’t know the server name but he is young and very tall. He’s always checkin with us and want to know if we needed something.

Brandon was very attentive. Food came REALLY fast, and we were never out of drinks or chips & salsa. We have visited this Chili’s on quite a few occasions, and while service is always good, this time it was down right stellar! I highly recommend the country fried steak… the bf and I share it almost every time, and it is so good! Occasionally the corn-on-the-cob is a little over done, but the last couple times we’ve been there it’s been spot on! Even if you’re not hungry, this is a great place to go for drinks and apps! You can’t beat their bottomless chips & salsa and 2-for-1 beers & margaritas every day! I would also recommend the fajitas, and if you go on Mondays they have a fajitas-for-two special for $ 12.99, which is awesome, and more than enough food for 3 people to share! I’ve tried the unlimited soup, salad and chips lunch as well, and they have a great variety of soups to choose from. All the way around, I love Chili’s, and after our most recent visit, we’ll likely be back again soon!

OK, for being a chain restaurant, I feel Chilis is OK. Never order their«Mexican» dishes. Their idea of Mexican, simply means piling loads of Pico DE Gallo on all of their dishes, and magically they become«Mexican» food! As for their famous fajitas… NASTY! I love how they come out«sizzling» or should I say, doused in vegetable oil, with limp vegetables! This place is crazy. As for my experiences here… OH, here we go! The staff is usually pretty shitty, the hosts are always rude, or treat everyone like they are gods… may be they are though. I don’t know The only reason why this place got three stars from me, is because I’ve had one of the most ridiculous dining experience of my life here! My boyfriend and I came here once on a Saturday around mid afternoon, before dinner, but after lunch. Our server came out to us, and literally was talking a mile a minute. not really listening just talking. He was coked out of his goddamn face! At first we just though it was kinda funny… our waiter… at Chilis, coke out, and hating life. Not funny, but it brought one of those really awkward smiles to our faces. Anyways. we continued to watch him deal with people, and other tables were rally taken back by his speedy attitude, but he really didn’t seem to care. It was completely obvious, and I really don’t care what you do in your life, but when you are dealing with people, as a server does, and are constantly struggling with nose drip and you are running around at speed 10, I mean, really, people notice! and it is unpleasant! So anyways we kept eating, and trying to ignore this guy as much as possible, and when we were finished, my boyfriend had to go to the bathroom. In the bathroom on the floor was(probably) our servers coke bag! empty of course! So we decided to leave it and just tell the manager of what was going on. I mean, I felt bad for completely calling this dude out, but wow. wow! As we were getting ready to get up and leave, we watched the manage go in and pick it up, and then all of a sudden you hear«WTF» really loud from the kitchen, and you can just hear this guy getting his ass handed to him. He got fired on the spot, and just got yelled at about a lot super loud. That was fucked up, because I know everyone in our area knew what was going on, and could here the entire situation going on in the kitchen. Looking around, everyone was just sitting there baffled by this whole experience! Anyways, we just got up and left. We had to get out of there! It was ridiculous. I will never forget this!

ok, this was a a major mistake, i hadnt been to chilis since high school, and the days when portion control was a far away reality and the fajitas for four were doable by a kid with a metabolism that could overtake the speed of light. i got a salad that kinda stuck with my crazy ass diet and just pretended that i couldnt have asked for it without bacon or cheese and also pretended that by getting the dressing on the side and dipping my salad into it and licking the empty bowl was not as bad as getting the dressing on it. portions=huge. watiress=classic minnesota friendly, telling us that i was not the first of the day to make odd substitutions and thinking that was reassuring in some way and not alienating. temperature=insanely cold, and it pisses me off to have to bring a hoodie everywhere i go in this city when its 90 out. seems to be worse in chains. booths=plentiful, this is good. menu= many selections but font and organization that made you think you may be on a minor mushroom trip. overall=eh
