Came here for a business lunch. Pretty good food. Good menu. The waiter was top notch with one huge exception… when he took my order he clearly just came back from a smoke break. So disgusting to smell that as I’m about to order my food. I like Friday’s. I’ll be back.

Oh, man. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for so damn long. I literally nevvvvver complain. I can’t. I deal with that shit daily. And most of it is just whiny bullshit. HOWEVER, the bartender was so off. Good god. Was he drunk? No? Who knows. Josh was serving us with glee and then ALLOF A SUDDEN wasn’t there for 30 minutes to take our order. Inexcusable. Mind you, there were 5 people at the bar and 2 – 4 tables in the restaurant. I don’t know how you could have been busy. Unless one of your keg valves just busted? Maybe? Luckily, a part from the rock hard ciabatta bread and the dirty silverware, and the debris ridden martini glasses, bar manager Megan came in and saved the day. Her service is what I live for! Not everyone is perfect, people have off days! Shit is hard, you try to do your best. Or you should. But Megan was clearly the only one who did. Promote her. Do something. She is too good for TGI. Thanks, Megan!

This place was walking distance to the hotel we were staying at so it was an essy choice. Unfortunately, the food was just okay and the service was definitely underwhelming. I would recommend you venture out to other nearby places. I gave it a 2-star rating because maybe on another day with different choices and waitstaff, maybe it would be better.

The Jack Daniels entrees are great. But watch your bill– you will likely be over– charged. Happened to me twice in 3 days. They advertise bar appetizer specials but charge full price when they should be $ 5 if you dont closely watch your bill. That’s BS if you ask me. I will go elsewhere in the future … Too many other places in West End not out to rip you off

Upon hearing of my terrible experience, the store manager contacted me and profusely apologized for the terrible experience and that it wasn’t the norm and that he was very sorry. He told me he would comp my meal and would send out a gift card with the total to me. It has been almost two months and I have yet to receive the gift card… Maybe the terrible service wasn’t so rare after all…

I have never had such an amazing experience ever! Our server Nick walked up to our table with a smile and a high five. Excited about his job, and the service of us the customers! He was super attentive and friendly. The other staff member Romi was awesome as well! By far two of the greatest staff members at this location. A+ great job fellas! Thank you! You made our night!

I’m not sure if maybe someone called in sick or something, but our server was also the bartender. She was not familiar with the food, took ~15 minutes to even take our order, and got a little too up in my boyfriend’s business for my taste. Goodbye, personal space. We eventually got our food, and it wasn’t bad. The flatbread was actually pretty stellar. Might have been better 15 minutes sooner with the refill I had asked for twice. That said, it seems like it might have been an off day, and I would give it another shot. As far as fast-ish food goes, I like TGI. They’ve always got some neat décor(oh hi there, canoe hanging from the ceiling).

Went to TGI Fridays at 810 on a Monday night, it took 15 minutes for our waitress to stop by our table. Then, after never getting the water the table of 6 ordered, it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Our waitress never stopped by to let us know what was going on and ignored our saying«excuse me» when we wanted to inquire about our food. Then after we were told the manager would stop by it took her over 10 minutes to stop by and all she did was ask«how’s your night?» Then waited for us to say«it’s okay» then walked away. Go somewhere else unless you want to wait 45 minutes for mediocre cold food.

Went to have a business lunch. Very disappointed when the air conditioning vents over the bar turned on and it started to snow dust all over the bar. This made me very concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I hope they get it all cleaned up before someone gets sick

My husband and I were shocked at how great the food quality is here! We are not typically the bar food type but the food is Delish!!! All the staff are super nice and have great people skills. We know at least 9 of them by name different personalities and they’re all really consistent! Great staff great location! Cheers! I recommend a passion fruit mojito with a salt rim!!!

Third day in a row eating out. Yikes! Also my 3rd Unilocal review. Upon walking in the door the friendly hostess staff was helping a elderly women out the door. Bonus! Veronica immediately cleaned a booth for us so we could sit in a spot we wanted to. Pierre grabbed menus and was extremely friendly. We enjoyed his personality that seemed like he enjoyed his job! Rare! Our server Tiffany… also was personable and friendly. She suggested some items. The ribs which I usually don’t order sounded delicious the way she described them. She also offered suggestions for the type of sauce to order. She was right on the money. The ribs were outstanding and the meat fell off the bone. I’ll be honest… I didn’t expect this from Friday’s. I’m one who orders a burger at a burger joint and ribs at the BBQ place. It’s the safe bet. After a move at West End this was a choice that we were happy with.

That’s right folks, I’m writing a review for TGI Friday’s. Get over it. We found ourselves on the West end of town and hungry, but really couldn’t bear the thought of dealing with the nightmare that is the West End so we somewhat begrudgingly ended up at TGI Friday’s. It was a fantastic decision. I got a Lunch Pairing deal which allows you to choose a number of mix and match items. I got the Tomato Bruschetta and a Chipotle Yucatan Salad. I’m not kidding you, both were better than anything I’ve ever had at Crave or Figlio. And it was only $ 7.99! I would have paid at least twice as much for food half as good at any other place in the West End. I know what you’re thinking, but really, you should give it a try. It’s not swank or hip or a place to be seen, but if you want great food, great service and great value, you can’t go wrong here.

What can you say, it’s TGI Friday’s, about the only leftover of the way old school themed bar/restaurant chains. The good news is it’s predictable. Not great, not bad, just consistent & predictable. A Damn site better than any fast food burger joint, so why not. Plus they have beer, which McD’s can’t say, thank goodness…

I was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly service we received here last Friday night. My S.O. and I were in the area doing some shopping, and I remembered that I had a gift card here. Perfect excuse to stop for a couple cocktails and apps after blowing my paycheck on shoes, right? We both ordered cocktails(can’t remember the name but they had Red Bull, vodka & grapefruit juice, YUM), shared the Jack Daniel’s chicken strips, and split a Rachel sandwich and sweet potato fries. I personally love the Jack Daniel’s sauce, but my boyfriend was sort of weirded out by the gelatinous consistency. Which meant more chicken for me, yay! The sandwich was delicious(though a little skimpy on the sauerkraut) and the sweet potato fries were super salty, which I love. It was refreshing to have such prompt & friendly service, from the greeters to the server. It’s kind of sad that good service actually SURPRISES me these days, but I guess I’ve just had too many run-ins with bored, indifferent or downright rude service industry professionals. I certainly wouldn’t say this is a «must-go» destination, but it’s a perfectly viable option if you’re in the area and looking for a place to grab some food or drinks.

The new test menu in the twin cities is not up to bar. Two huge draw backs. Changed famous motzerrella sticks recipe. And removed chips and queso from menu. Will not eat at Fridays until they change it!

It doesn’t get much better than this! Anytime I’m looking for a place to eat, I choose TGI Fridays. The mozzarella sticks? To die for. The burgers are also incredibly savory and cooked perfectly. The waiters are fantastic, as well. I went there once last week and sat outside to an amazing sunset. Unfortunately, this was also the smokers’ section, so I went inside within 5 minutes. My waiter was understanding and even made a couple of jokes about it :) I’m not really a fan of having a smoking section in restaurants — it seems a bit hypocritical to me, having that odor and food in the same environment, but who am I to complain? I’m not much of a fan of Friday’s chicken, however. Like every other restaurant I’ve been to, the chicken is bland, and usually quite dry. I ordered it once and will probably never order it again. All in all, the experience was good and the food was well prepared. I will definitely keep this as my go-to spot in the future.

Was there on April 7, 2012 for lunch with a friend. Ordered the ham and cheese sandwich which comes with a cup of soup and potato chips. The sandwich arrived and the ham in the middle was cold, but the cheese and bread was warm — clearly they didn’t heat this enough — or at least didn’t put the ham on the grill first to warm it. The cup of soup was also only half filled — mind you this was a cup — not a bowl — so why only half a cup? I told the server about the cold sandwich and he promptly ordered me a replacement — a whole new entrée came out — again only half a cup of soup — but at least the sandwich was warm. Overall — this visit was a fail.

Okay, let me start by saying I’m not a fan of chair restaurants. But, this place does everything right. The food is affordable and delicious. We love the Chicken Bruschetta Pasta and the Turkey Reuben. The service is fast and you can sign up for their Stripes program and get great deals. We usually use some sort of coupon to make it even more affordable. The re-design of the store is great. This is one of our ‘tride and true’ stops near the West End. It’s kid friendly and the ‘Cup of Dirt’(oreo, chocolate pudding, gummi worms) is a favorite for my boyfriend’s son. There is one really annoying server(a guy) that makes bad jokes. I’m sure he means well, but it is kind of uncomforable and we avoid being sat in his section. haha.

I haven’t been to Fridays in a number of years, so I’m not surprised their menu has changed quite a bit since then. Honestly, there aren’t as many options of interest for me as there once was. It was nice to see the selection of app-entrée-dessert deals like three for $ 12.99 and 3 for $ 16.99. I decided on one of the $ 12.99 options, which was only slightly more than the cost of the entrée alone. My trio was the pork pot stickers w/sechzuan sauce, the chicken bruchetta pasta and the Oreo ice cream sandwich. The pot stickers were probably the highlight of my dinner – such a bummer that I started out my meal with them(sorta set the bar high for the rest of the meal). The bruchetta pasta was good, but the one sample of the BF’s cajun chicken & shrimp pasta(sans shrimp) was way better – sad face for not having ordered that :(oh well, dessert was next: the oreo ice cream sandwich was a little smaller than I expected – probably accentuated by the fact that it’s served on a 15″ plate. The BF set his sights on the big juicy strawberry on the plate, but just after he took his last bite of the dessert, our server came by and whisked away the entire plate, but most importantly the strawberry. I can still picture the sad face he made when he watched it float away. :( On top of that, my water glass was nearly empty by the time our main course was brought out, but our server never came by to refill it. Once she came by while my mouth was full of pasta to check on us, but she was gone so fast I wasn’t able to get the word«water» out of my parched, pasta-filled mouth – and she didn’t notice my glass was then empty. I didn’t get a refill until AFTER our dessert was brought out, and by then it was hardly worth it. Note: Don’t ask to substitute anything in their trios – they wouldn’t even accommodate a request for basic, cheap fries instead of a more elaborate and expensive appetizer. I get it, special requests suck sometimes… but what a bummer.
