Evergreen Haven

RUDE!!! I have had mulch delivered from here for over 15 years. This year, however, when I had my mulch spread i started noticing that my tender herbaceous perennials starting to wilt and change color anywhere where it touched or near the mulch. After a couple days the damage was great so I went over to ask if they knew of this happening. The attack started with it was something I did not their mulch. I was not yelling, asking for any kind of reimbursement. I was just wondering what happened. Now the owner comes and I am trying to show him my plant leaves. He is yelling at me. YELLING in my face that I don’t need to see anything its the drought. Nothing is wrong with my product. I tried to tell him that i have a sprinkler system. He wouldn’t stop yelling at me to hear anything. He then turns and storms away. Really!!! I have been getting thousands of dollars worth of mulch over the 15 yrs. I was stunned. Wow. I have never encountered such an outburst of such rude, ignorant people. Again, I was not asking for anything. I came home and did some research. It is «sour mulch» that burned my plants. His mulch has always been great. Things happen. But I will never patronize this place again due to his bullying attitude. If you need mulch, or very, very, pedestrian annuals this is the place. Just put your money down and leave. Don’t interact with anyone there. I will give all my business going forward to Angels across the street.

Evergreen Haven is basically a run down shack on the side of the road with a limited selection of crappy plants. The staff is rude!
