BEST WESTERN PLUS Goodman Inn & Suites

The working staff were nice, but the bed was sunken, the bathroom doesn’t even have a vent. The door, tables are cover with dust and finger prints. Over all the experience were bad, all I can say about this place are dirty and old.

I’ll give it 3 stars, just like it says it’s a 3 star. A little generous unless we’re talking a 6 scale.

Nice foyer with a bar, but the design person is a lunatic. The color scheme is all kinds of crazy.
No extra blanket and the lampshade is cracked like hell.

Checked in looked new but found out hotel is 6 years old, hotel appears to have gone through a recent facelift. Hallways smell like paint or wallpaper glue the lobby was being saturated with a commercial generic spray bottle air freshener that was way to strong. Get to room the King «Spa» suite. Looks nothing like the picture on the hotels website the main room is ok but the jetted tub is stuffed off in a corner where it doesn’t even look like its there when you walk in. Random stains on the floor damage to the walls and ceiling shower curtain covered in calk from new bathroom tile, tile grout has more open cracks then the grand canyon and then there is the HUGE gash in the carpet as you walk in the door to the room. Then there is the tiny pillows.

Stayed here last night. Called from 5 minutes away to see if they had rooms was told they did and quoted a price. Told Them I would be there in a few minutes when we got there was told no king rooms and a much higher rate. Finally got that settled went up to the room used soap left in the soap dish, hair in the toilet, hair in one of the beds, no local channels. Won’t stay here again

It’s thanksgiving night and with traffic heavy. we decided to save the last two hours and drive them after a good nights sleep. On a whim, we booked here thru
for less than $ 72.00 so obviously this ain’t the Ritz Carlton.
However, being one of the busiest travel days of the year, this is a hotels time to shine. The first room we checked into had the thermostat cover completely ripped off the wall. As in, wires visible and it was 54 degrees. It is currently 27 outside. Brrr. We called downstairs and they immediately apologized and changed us to a room on the third floor just needed a new key. The new room was warm and nice, but two light bulbs were burnt out, one being in the bathroom. It’s 11pm. My kids are asleep. And I’m not walking back downstairs. I take a shower and there is very little hot water, and there is an old dried washcloth hanging from my towel rod. It has hardened and been there for quite some time. Gross. Again, general cleanliness is always nice. Drury Inns will get my business next time, right down the street. They were sold out tonight, and now I know why. Not the worst I have ever experienced staying in a hotel but definitely need to step it up a notch! ;)

I stayed at this hotel on 11÷22−11÷23, 2013. Here is why I rate it so low:
PROS: Clean, nice pool and hot tub, new carpeting and decent facility, with easy access to the highway and Memphis airport, simple basics like light breakfast and wifi were adequate.
CON: For the two straight nights and mornings I was there, there was no hot water. It wasn’t an issue with supply/​demand due to overbooking or others getting to the hot water before me, either. It was literally non-​functional, and everyone staying there knew this. Instead of openly admitting the problem, the staff and management repeatedly told us that we should have called them at night to have it fixed by the morning. Then, upon checkout I suggested that paying full price was just not fair. Others were checking in and they were not even explaining that they have a problem in the entire building with hot water.

Clean & Quiet! Would stay here again in future.

Stayed here on a trip to Memphis and it was great! So close to lots of restaurants, shopping, attractions. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great free breakfast every morning including fresh waffles. Pool and pool area was clean and well stocked with towels. Absolutely no complaints. I hope we get to stay here again!
