Just a little neighborhood bar with a good kitchen. Great place for a sandwich and a beer — and you can watch the game while you are at it.

Came here to watch the soccer game tonight. Can’t say I was impressed with the service or the food. This place seems so cute from the outside looking in but it’s nothing special which is upsetting. Everything seems so worn down and old. I shared the chicken wrap with someone just for a little snack during the game. It wasn’t great but the little fries served with it were good! I wish I could see this place change because I feel like it has so much potential in such a great location.

This is a nice little place. A little hard to spot because of local ordinances that prohibit neon signs. I was staying at the resort across the road and found myself at this local watering hole to watch a Thursday night football game because the one bar at the resort that got the NFL Network closed at 9. I wished I had started my evening here. The locals are good folks and are very outgoing and fun. The prices were good, and the menu is full of good selections. The owner originally hails from Scotland but has been in the area for 30 years and is every bit a charming host. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop in for a drink and say, «Hi.»

Great place right across street from Horseshoe Bay Resort. Lots of options: salsa & queso, tacos, grilled ham and cheese, and chicken fingers were all tasty. Nice way to wrap up our day on the lake.

Okay for a quick lunch… basic menu with a lot of fried selections. French fries are good and come with most sandwiches. The menu is extensive… preparation of most items is what you expect from a café. They do need more servers at lunch as a lot of horseshoe bay golfers and construction workers are there.
