Acre Replacement Windows

DO NOT HIRE THESE OAFS! They are liars. Andersen Windows denies that they are an «official installer.» Their prices for Andersen Windows are 3 X the going fair rate. Their installers are inept. They got my order wrong THREE TIMES. They have never completely fixed it.
They send out an estimator who bores you with an unnecessary «time share style» pitch. They promise you a good price if you write a good review of them on the spot, I’ve been unable to remove that kind statement I was coerced to make.
BEWARE — THEY ARE A RIPOFF. They are con artists in the grand style.

Door has been installed for 2 weeks now and still isn’t complete. I had a similar situation as another customer in that we discussed details that the salesperson didn’t write down so I am battling to get those items done. They insisted on taking the final payment (which isn’t supposed to be paid until completed install-​I guess that was my fault). I have to keep pointing out issues for them to fix-​like air coming through the door-aren’t these guys the experts? Until this is remedied I am wishing I had gone with the first company who gave me a quote.

The salesman was great but no one wrote down what I actually wanted. So they installed the wrong thing then told me no one had written it on the contract despite me telling everyone who came out what I wanted. They offered me 750 off a future purchase to make it better but I have no desire to sink more money into a company that can’t do it right.

Lee Austin came to the house today to do a free in home estimate. Their products are as good as it gets, and their servicemen are specially trained and certified with installing, and troubleshooting Andersen windows. You can tell that ACRE is a company that strives for perfection. Though the pricetag is higher than we were expecting, the quality that we will be receiving is above all. Lee was incredibly thorough in explaining what we needed to know about windows. He took his time and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy, and he found exactly what we were looking for: quality, longevity, and energy efficiency. We are first time homeowners and had a lot of questions, and required a lot of education but he was very patient with us. We have not received our windows, but just from our experience today, we feel confident in our decision with ACRE windows.
