I had a shrimp Poboy, wasn’t impressed, shrimp tasted old and had a slimy texture, ended up throwing most of it away. I don’t think I would eat here again.

Delicious! Daughter got the French fry poboy and enjoyed it. The Ray-Ray is awesome(fried shrimp, sausage, and roast beef in gravy). Hamburger steak poboy with grilled onions is awesome too. We also got an order of gravy fries and corn nuggets and both were awesome.

I was disappointed with this experience. I felt my roast beef poboy could have had more meat and it was kind of dry.

I recently was in Houma and was craving a good roast beef poboy. This is the best one I’ve had in the years since I moved from South Louisiana. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 is bc my corn nuggets were room temperature. My order was to go and I started to eat them as soon as I pulled out of the lot. I should have gone in, but by the time they replaced them my sandwich would have been cold and the bread soggy. I can’t wait to return to Houma for another sandwich.

If you have a po boy shop in south Louisiana, you better be able to make a good sandwich right? They do here. The place is nothing fancy, but they have plenty of inside seating. I had a soft shell crab sandwich that was just perfect, juicy and full of flavor. I can’t wait to try some other menu items.

Chicken breast po boy used manufactured chicken patty with painted on grill marks(the kind used at subway) and the tamale po boy was some microwaved tamal with ground beef stuck inside some bread. The only good thing was the bread which was soft and fresh.

Hands down best Po-boy in Houma! Bayou Blue used to be the best, but somewhere over the years they changed the recipe or management or both, and it really went downhill! But thank God for Mr. Poboy! Omgosh! The Roast Beef is so freaking amazing! Get lots and lots of napkins or do like I do and just lick the gravy off your arms! Also, the fried shrimp Poboy! So good! It is chock full of perfectly seasoned, crispy fried shrimp! Just make sure you check the hours before you go. If I remember correctly, they have some weird hours.

I love this place. I had their soft shell crab po boy and it was amazing. Although it was my first soft shell crab. So the first time experience might have been what really sold me. The boudin balls are awesome as well. If you want a good po boy and are near by, this place is it.

Great place for a shrimp po-boy. Really loaded with a lot of shrimp.

If this is the best Po Boy in Houma, drive east to get one. Shrimp PO Boy has small, nothing special shrimp. The Roast beef is way too broken down. Looks like a chocolate mess. The bread was cut thru instead of being just sliced to open. Everything falls out. A place with this name should know better. Sorry. Not that great.

I have eaten Po Boys from this restaurant for awhile. These are the best Po boys this side of the Mississippi. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

If you want the best roast beef poboy in Houma area you need try only two places. Mr Poboy and Bayou Blue Poboy. I rather Mr Poboy because they have sweet potato fries.

Locals agree, this is the best Po’Boy sandwich in Houma, Louisiana, and it’s the best I’ve had period.(A Po’Boy is similar to a sub sandwich). Not fancy; just good ingredients. Get it «dressed,» with mayonnaise, tomato and lettuce. I had an 11-inch Po’Boy that was one-half roast beef(most popular order), and one-half fried oysters(they were insanely great!). They also offer a variety of Louisiana dishes like: Bread Pudding. Corn Nuggets. Muffelatta. Sweet Potato fries with sugar. Shrimp Nuggets. Cajun Fireballs. Ray-Ray. Popcorn Chicken. Crawfish… the list goes on. Sit in, or drive-thru pick up. Very busy at lunchtime; parking can be challenging at times.

I go to this place every time I’m in Houma, LA. I’ve tried the shrimp and the roast beef poboy and I gotta say it is the best I have ever tasted. Even though I’ve never tried them I hear they have crab and chicken too. You get in and out pretty quick and the prices are on point. One tip unless you are starving get the half order, it is more than enough to fill you up.

Best poboy shop in Houma, period. I would recommend the ferdy or the roast beef as some of the best you can ever get. The other poboys are good, too. But these ones I’m recommending will do you right! I also recommend calling ahead to avoid a wait. This place gets popular.

Good, not great po boy’s. The shrimp po boy is what I normally get, to go. It comes out fast and hot. Really nothing special, but always filling when I need a quick bite while working in the area. Get the small, cause the large is just way to much. A local spot that I support when I can.

I had the shrimp po boy and LOVED it! Usually I am a roast beef kinda gal, but I branched out and didn’t regret it. The batter was light and flaky, not too greasy and full of wonderful flavor without overpowering the shrimp. The bread was a tad dry, but some how it worked with the whole experience. The ambiance is wonderful! I love the sheet metal interior. The whole place is VERY clean(which is something I’m really picky about). Mr Po Boy will be on our regular rounds for eateries when ever we visit Houma.

Ah Mazing. I had the roast-beast po boy. Get it. Eat it. I’m really at a loss for how to describe how wonderful this is. It’s one of those weird moments where I’m really happy to be a human because I can eat ridiculously good things like this. Tip: Get it to go so you can go eat it alone in a corner or something. It’s MESSY. Not pomegranate messy but messy. Atmosphere, service, location: No one cares because the sandwich is too good.
