West main street pizza is a family tradition and an old Houma family owned business. They have fantastic thin crust pizza. Try their pepperoni with or supreme pizza. The taco pizza is also a family favorite. This is a great place to bring the kids as they can run around and have fun. We don’t rush or worry when our family and friends meet at West Main. Try the French bread toasted in the pizza ovens with both cheeses and both peppers: jalapeños and bananas peppers. This place is not cheap, rather it is expensive compared to fast food pizza places and chain stores. We love it for its quality and easy atmosphere. Please don’t criticize it if you don’t like it, appreciate it for a place that we grew up loving it and with many fond memories. I think the quality is under appreciated as I have dined in the famous pizza places in New York, Chicago and St. Louis.

I hate this place. The interior needs to be redone. It is so outdated. Also, the toppings on the pizza are soooo overwhelmingly obnoxious. If I wanted just meat, I would order a steak, not a pizza. Spaghetti meat sauce is very bitter tomato tasting and needs a bit of sugar. Also, burgers have obnoxious amounts of toppings, and it’s sad to find out that the cook and waitress are placing bets on you if you finish the entire burger or not. I should not have THAT many toppings that employees are betting on if I can finish. Not impressed.

We love the Taco Pizza. The pizza here is really good. Different, but good. I can’t give it more than 3 stars because a.) it’s pretty pricey b.) the interior has not been updated for decades c.)it’s on the slow side, even on non-busy nights. I believe nostalgia is what keeps so many customers coming back.

Crackery, crisp crust with baked to perfection in an iron stack oven. Somehow these guys create an awesome pie by doing everything that would usually make a mediocre or bad pizza… they load up toppings, limit sauce, and bake it in a pan. Be prepared for something very good, but very nontraditional when your order comes up. Don’t go in with a preconceived notion of what pizza is or should be. Another warning… not heart healthy or price friendly establishment(a large pizza can run you $ 35 or more, but worth it).

I have had pizza in over 20 different cities and 5 countries and I consider West Main Pizza the best I have ever had by far. Every time I’m in Houma I always stop in this place for pepperoni pizza. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy and they never skimp on the toppings. But the sauce is just next level, sweet, a little spicy, hardy, and rich. I seriously consider this the best pizza on earth. Its a local favorite and a lot of the staff has been there since I was a kid. I highly recommend West Main.

West Main Pizza is a local pizza joint in Houma. Everyone here loves it and I have to say, their pizza is good. We ordered a few for dinner one night while I was visiting. We had the Shrimp and Crabmeat, the Taco Pizza, and the West Main Supreme. All were great but my favorite was the Shrimp and Crabmeat. That one was really delicious. The reason for the two star review is because of the outrageous prices. A large pizza here is 40 dollars. 40 dollars!!! What. The. Hell. Our three large pizzas set us back $ 135. Again… What. The. Hell. Surely that must be a mistake? No. It wasn’t. Surely we had appetizers and drinks as well? No. We didn’t. That is just an insane amount of money to charge for a pizza. I mean, do they put flakes of gold and platinum on those pies? No. They don’t. If you have an unlimited supply of cash and love a great pizza, this is your place.

Not like it was when I was in school. Horrible slow service. They would rather fix their own plates and eat in the kitchen. Or even worse, they sit at a table not far from you and stuff their faces while you wait for help. Grossly overpriced for average pizza. I used to love the taco pizza as a kid. Head to Redfish Pizza and you will not be disappointed.

By far the best pizza in Houma! Yummo! Cold beer. The same ladies have been there since I was a little girl. Lots of toppings and reasonable price. Enjoy!!!

I will never go back. The service was slow and the food was aweful. The meatball spaghetti was watery and the meatballs tasted old. Yuck. Can’t believe they charged us for that food even though we complained

Not bad for a local pizza joint. I can’t comment about dining in, but always had good service carrying out. Tried the Dave’s spaghetti and wasn’t really a fan. Had like miniature looking meatballs, pepperoni, onions, and green bell peppers in it. It was just too watery and wasn’t very tasty to my palate. Pizza on the other hand was pretty good. Had the taco pizza and thought it was just okay, but I really enjoyed the seafood pizza. I’m not a huge fan of eating shrimp, but I gobbled down this pizza. It had shrimp, crab meat, onions, green peppers, pork, and mild banana peppers. Talking about explosion of flavor in your mouth. It was like taking a bite out of Louisiana itself. Can’t really describe it, you have to taste it for yourself.

This is a small, family owned business which has been around for a long time. They have decent service. The atmosphere is comfortable. The pizza is good and always plentiful in toppings. Although I haven’t tried much beyond it, my favorite is the seafood pizza.

AWESOME!!! I could eat pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this place!!! MYABSOLUTEFAVORITEPIZZA! I dream of this place when it’s been too long! If you like a thin, crunchy crust, this is the place for you! You have got to try it out! I counted the pepperoni’s on one slice one time and it reached 28 ~ I’m not kidding! They don’t use a lot of sauce so that the crust doesn’t get soggy, but you can request extra sauce.
