The food is nothing special and neither is the atmosphere. I ordered the baked potato which comes with chopped brisket cheese and butter. I think they forgot the chives and bacon bits as I was told that’s what came on it but it was missing them. I also wasn’t given a receipt so I could complain about my order.

The food wasn’t very good at all, I ordered the homemade links but the casing was incredibly tough. After waiting for a very long time my order came back wrong. I was asked a few times what I ordered because the guy wasn’t sure. The place isn’t run very well at all, the one guy there is trying to take orders, work the register, bring the food to the table and bus the tables. All in all it was a bad experience, Thelma would be pretty angry about how it is being ran, it was great when she had the place.

I agree with the previous reviewer that the flavor of the food was bad and the sauce is store bought. The water supply wasn’t working so I really wonder how the cooks washed their hands or cleaned the kitchen.

Nowhere close to Thelma’s flavor and quality. I ordered a half lb of brisket and another half lb of sausage, both to go. I suspected that the barbecue sauce on the condiment bar was store-bought, but grabbed some anyway. When I arrived home I opened everything up and felt the servings looked a bit small. I confirmed my suspicions by using my food scale. I was shorted by two ounces. The brisket was tough and the sausage was dripping in grease. Flavor was just okay. Can’t compete with others in the area. Oh, and the sauce was store-bought and not very good.
