They said that they were NOT part of my insurance group and that I would have to pay for an exam /cleaning($$$) and get reimbursed from my insurance later. Then they changed the story and told me that my portion would cost more since I was from out of town. My provider informed me that Dr. Ly WAS indeed part of the network and that he could not charge me more for the services in order to take my insurance. My provider called Dr. Ly’s office to clarify the specifics and faxed them the necessary paperwork outlining my benefits. Dr. Ly’s office(Sue) said that she would call me when she received the fax to confirm the terms. They never called to confirm my appointment, either. If this is the type of customer service that you get when trying to set an appointment, what would you expect when you get under the drill?
