B Trouble Skate Shop

It’s great to find a skate shop where the owner is knowledgable and friendly. Joining roller derby can be intimidating partly because of the gear, and what you need is all personal preference. Having a fellow skater there to patiently answer questions, make observations, and generally be enthusiastic is wonderful. I went with a friend and we found a wide selection of skates, gear, and accessories. We have wildly different body types and were pleased to find that we both had plenty of options. We came away with full kit and the confidence to get out and skate. There is also a 4 week skate rental option if you’re not sure about your new skates and need to wear them around the track a few times.
