We had a quote from the Lexus dealer for $ 7000. We decided to see what a local garage would do, and because of the excellent reviews, gave Smith’s a try. We see why they have those impressive reviews! They have it in excellent working order for $ 2000. Quite a difference! They used their judgment in what made sense and came in at the original quote. I was impressed with the calm professionalism I witnessed while the phone rang constantly and people were treated with respect and patience. I would highly recommend them for fair prices, honesty, and mechanical expertise!

If you are looking for an honest and reasonable mechanic shop, this is your place. They do excellent work and are always one of the most reasonable estimates I get. In fact, after doing business with them for a while now they have my trust.

I can’t say thank you enough to Robert for always taking good care of my car. This is the third time I’ve been to this place and Robert is always quick to help and accommodate me as well as Chris. WOW! I would give ten stars if I could. I needed a speed sensor replaced, so I bought the part myself and called around for estimates. Smith’s Auto gave me an estimate of $ 60-​$ 70 while other shops wanted to charge me in the $ 100s range. I met with Chris and he was so friendly and honest. Each time he spoke to me and other customers, he had a sweet smile on his face and told them what they needed and didn’t need for their car. And, they get A LOT of business. When I arrived, there was only one spot for me to park! My car was done by the afternoon and I paid the $ 60 for labor. My car is running even better than before! This shop is a little out of my range since it’s kind of a far drive, but it was well worth the trip. Thank you, Smith Auto!

A death in the family is always a rough time. So much to plan and do. Couple that with a broken vehicle when you are traveling from out of town and you have a potential disaster on your hands.
I called around several shops and it being Easter week, some garages were shorthanded and all were busy. Yes, I even delicately tried to input that I was from out of town and had to attend to my Sisters funeral arrangements, but I understand the situation they were in.
I called Smith’s Auto Repair and was immediately treated with respect and compassion. They got me in the day after I called and completed the job on time and on budget.
Thank you so much for making a difficult situation a little bit better. Our truck is running great!

I don’t usually write reviews but I think This review will be very useful to others. This is the most honest mechanic shop I have ever dealt with, they only charged me $ 30.00 for something another shop was charging me $ 200.00 for an Audi! So you make your own conclusion. They definitely earned a long term customer.

Did a good job at replacing an Evap Vent Solenoid. Only charged me for the time spent on the vehicle. Mark up on the part was only $ 60 more than Autozone. No haggling with unnecessary charges and services. Great place to go if you know what’s wrong with your vehicle.

This is the second time I have used them, and my family uses them as well. I have an older car right now and it is begining to have older car problems. This place is excellent, they’re trustworthy and they work quickly. My first repair here was an altenator, I had classes until 6 so they let me pay over the phone and left my keys and the reciept in the car. Someone forgot to leave my car unlocked though so I had to have Katy PD (call their non emergency line for a free pop lock) to unlock my car door. The car drove beautifully until a few months later. It had a hard, inconsistent idle and would stall out if I didn’bt put it in neutral at stop lights (it is an automatic) Smith’s Auto Shop quickly found the issue, called me before doing any work to inform me of the cost and time frame I’d have my car back. They ordered the part from the Mazda dealership, had it deliever and repaired early this morning. I paid less than 130 $ for the repair and I am so relieved!
I highly recommend them, locally owned, fast, efficent and they only repair what you ask for them to repair!
