Nice cozy place with a good amount of options to eat. The Banh Mi was so tasty. If you’ve ever been to Kim’s Tea House, I think you can appreciate this place.

Nice rugged hole in the wall — reminds me of when I was in Asia in the 80’s — but damn — get that sewer fixed. Smells like poop. Sorry. Food is good tho — love the look too.

This place continues to deliver quality food in a fun fresh vibe. There viatnamese pork spring rolls are delicious and their coffee is amazing. Have not been here in about 6 months but it has not changed. Love B-10

Love this place. Puts me in the mind of a fast food vietnamese place… well it basically is. Modern menu presentation. Kinda run down exterior and gaseous smell always inside(i.e. plumbing is backing up somewhere). Always good for when I want a low carb filling meal, I’ll get the salad or brown rice bowl with grilled pork beef or chicken. Yummy place.

Ordered 2 banh mi’s: meat ball: 4⁄5: Omg, so tasty! I pretty much inhaled this sandwich within 5 seconds! It was soo good! The bread was flaky all the veggies were nicely pickled and the meat super tender delicious! Combination: 3/5, still tasty, but I definitely like the meat ball banh mi more. I just didn’t like the ham component.

ROACHINFOOD!!! I come here at least twice a week and meet my sister at least once a week because the food is excellent. Today I found a roach in my food. Tried to resolve with owner and he denied. Photos attached. No words to describe my disgust!

I’ve gone here on a couple of occasions, just to try out the different banh mi in the area and see if I can find a new favorite. If you’re ordering a custom sandwich be absolutely clear about what you’re ordering. English isn’t the first language for some of the folks behind the counter, so miscommunication frequently occurs. I was grabbing a light dinner with a friend and I requested a sandwich with the bbq pork AND meatballs, my friend also ordered a sandwich and we split an order of eggrolls. The total came out higher than expected but we chalked it up to maybe we did poor math on our end. When the order came out we got 3 sandwiches. That’s right, they put the bbq pork on one sandwich, the meatballs on another. No wonder our bill was higher than usual. On my most recent visit I made sure to be clear with my order: 2 sandwiches with bbq pork AND meatball and an order of eggrolls. He told me that it was going to be extra cost for extra meat. I said that’s fine. He rang me up, and it was near $ 18. $ 18?! For two sandwiches and an order of eggrolls? In Chinatown?! I figured it really shouldn’t have cost more than $ 15, tops. Found out it costs $ 1.65 for extra meat. Wow. I mean… I’ve been to places were it costs like $ 0.50 for extra meat. This is like, highway robbery. I mean, the eggrolls I already thought were a tad pricey, but eh… that’s about the price range you’d expect. Cleanliness of the restaurant needs work… as I was waiting for my order, I noticed a roach crawling on the walls by entry way of kitchen. Gross, gross, gross. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. Anyway, finally got home with sandwiches and eggrolls. The portions are pretty big, at least the bread was, made me think… okay, I’m getting my money’s worth. I opened it up to see how much meat was in there, since I was paying near $ 5 at this point there had better be some meat. Scarce. Flavor? Mediocre. The bread was a bit chewy. Not sure what to think about that. Overall, the eggrolls are good. The sandwiches are $ 3 and some change, which I think is on the upper end of banh mi’s in the area. Especially since the taste was okay, nothing outstanding, they could have been more generous with the meat considering I was paying 50% more. They do have a buy 5, get 1 free though which is a plus. But honestly, I should have just gone to Don’s sandwiches which was in the same shopping plaza. It would have tasted better, and more bang for my buck.

Wanted to try some place new for bo né because we always go to be né Houston. Seeing that they have great reviews we stopped by around 11:30 am. First walking in I thought we went to wrong Resturant being that a big Resturant was empty no one inside. Usually indicate the place sucks but gave it a try and to our surprise it was good. The place is roomy and clean just wish it had more customers so it won’t feel so dead.

This might be the worst banh mi in Chinatown(maybe even the city). The sandwiches here are almost the exact same(and just as bad) as Don Café, but with a few differences: — Better toasted bread. It’s the same bread as Don’s but B10 doesn’t toast it until it turns into a brick. It’s actually pretty good — really crispy outside but still soft enough to chew through, only flaking into a few pieces on each bite. — Much less mayo spread(actually aioli), and less tasty mayo — Thinner, less tasty BBQ pork that’s ALWAYS stale and dry. The meat here is horrible. — Slightly fresher vegetables, more sweet and sour carrots. Why I might come here over Don Café is that this place has a lot more seating space and is rarely ever busy. But that’s only if I had to choose between the two. for far better banh mi I would go down Bellaire Blvd and look for Alpha Bakery, Thim Hing, or Nguyen Ngo.

The banh mi sandwich I had(#1 on the menu) was okay; I probably would have liked it more if I were used to tripe and gristle and other textures not commonly found in American foods. The French bread was great though and left lots of crumbs on the table. This place is not high on décor or atmosphere, it’s more like a «get the job done» sort of Vietnamese place.

Came here to grab a quick lunch. I had already bought some bahn mi from Don’s to take back to Austin with me so I didn’t want to get a bahn mi. I opted for the dodge bo. It’s a Vietnamese style steak and eggs. It also comes to a nice hot baguette and a spread of that buttery goodness that most places put in bahn mi and some pâté. It also came with a salad as well! The bread was perfectly toasted. The meal came out in a hot skillet and it was delicious. The steak was cut in cubes and was very tender and the egg was just to my liking. The flavor overall was really good. I also got a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee to go for my drive home and it was a lifesaver!

This place is always empty. Last time i ordered a bbq banh mi, and somehow the server mixed up my order with this other guys order when there were just 2 customers at that moment. The bread was hard and meat was small and dry. I am not surprise they serve poor food when there are no customers.

I didn’t like this place at all. The restaurant was difficult to find, the prices were a lot more and the food was just ok. I had the chicken banh mi and shrimp rolls. The banh mi had very little meat and the shrimp rolls did not taste that great… they even had meat in them. You should go to Les Givral’s Sandwich & Café instead. Their prices are crazy cheap, the sandwichs are full of meat and the shrimp rolls don’t have extra meat in them.

We eat those grilled pork sandwiches and drank avocado smoothies. Clearly the pork was grilled days ago since it was extremely though to chew And the smoothies was made out of powdered avocado POWDERAVOCADOTHAT’S CRAZY, ANYWAYS It’s not what it was years ago before the remodeling.

Go here for the steak and eggs(better than bo né’s)!or perhaps the sandwiches… Just don’t try to be cute and adventurous and order the rice plates or something lesser-known. Ask me how I know! Oh, and the Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip cookies are bomb!

I enjoyed this place even though it’s super casual here, and look so much like a hole-in-the-wall. In fact, it even looks like some sort of a food court. Yes, there’s a bunch of nicer-looking Vietnamese places nearby, but this place supposedly has the best Bo Né, Vietnamese breakfast of fajita steak and eggs. It came with a small baguette and pâté. If you’re in the mood for Bo Né, do try this place out. The only thing is that I think the pâté and mayo could be a bit better, but everything else was on point.

My Vietnamese best friend always know where the best Vietnamese restaurants to eat at and guess what she isn’t even a Unilocaler. It was either this place or Lee’s Sandwiches and I’m glad we chose this restaurant because once you walked in the door the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and modern. I mean, even the ladies restroom was clean and odor-free. The best thing of the restroom was the sink. yes I know how can you get intrigued by the sink? This wasn’t any olé’ sink, this was pretty cool, now I wasn’t a fan of the plaid, but when the water was falling like a waterfall I was thinking wow, whenever I get a house I want my sinks to be this cool. The lady serving us, Huong was her name, she was nice and patient with us as we ordered. She didn’t rush us and just stayed content the whole time. I ordered the pulled chicken banh mi and it was so delicious it didn’t even need soy sauce or even fish sauce that I was craving. It was good and it came out quick, but it was hot to touch. The mango sinker tapioca drink was a huge orgasm in my mouth and no joke it was good… I know its made from powder, but this one was smooth and not frothy. no after taste at all. The chicken banh mi was $ 3.75 and the mango drink was another $ 3.75. My total came out to be $ 8.12 with tax. The TV was set on baseball and I’m no fan of baseball, but I had to look at something while I was eating. If you are looking for the wifi password, look at the bottom of your receipt. such a smart move to place it there. If you are sitting closer to the door on the far end, the TV is set to Spanish soaps(soap operas) with lots of space to eat. Now one thing that was horrible about this restaurant is that it is placed in a very busy shopping center and parking is atrocious! It is seriously the worst! People not watching where they are going, just backing up their car without looking behind them, and two and three people backing out a parking spot at the same time. People backing up and then beeping at you once you think you’ve found a spot another person not caring and taking it. being all so rude and looking for a parking war! It took us 20 minutes to find parking and I swear I was just about to leave go to Lee’s Sandwiches instead.

In the same plaza(and area) as a ton of other Vietnamese shops, this one is not memorable at all… Food: Got the banh mi with a Vietnamese iced coffee and asked about the sugar cane juice price. Banh mi was not flavorful at all and dry. Meat was slightly charred… in a bad way. Missing that flavorful glaze. Iced coffee was the better half of the order. And sugar cane juice at market price? $ 6.00. It’s summer and in season, and it’s $ 6? C’mon.(Thanh Noi next door? $ 3.00) Service: So-so. Pretty quick with the order. We got it to go but when looking for a trash can, there was not one to be found in the entire store… Ambiance: Smells strongly like a Chinese pharmacy when you walk in. Clean and tidy space though. Bright with lots of windows.

There’s a lot of things on the menu; very customizable items, as well. Haven’t heard of ever getting catfish or crawfish, even grilled salmon in a banh mi! Anyway, I got the tofu banh mi. I based it on one of the posted pictures here from Unilocal, and seeing it «had» a lot of tofu, I went for it. Unfortunately, the person making my banh mi probably was having a bad day and placed only 2 very sad slices of tofu :(sad sad sad. I think the aoili it came with tasted great, though. I just really wish it had more tofu. The staff is great; the place is spacious, they offer boba tea. I think it’s worth a visit.

I came here versus the usually visit to Don’s, which absolutely amazing and only a few steps away because I had no cash! Shame on me for not having cash while on Bellaire! I came in here because they accepted card and was in a hurry. Literally there was two people in front of me and it was only 8:30am. I thought to myself that it should be quick but I ended up waiting way longer than I expected. I mean it was just two sandwiches in front of me yet I was waiting for more than 15 min. That was a disappointment… The sandwich also disappointed. Extremely stingy on the bbq pork sandwich and the non-existent butter that I love so much was no where to be found on my sandwich. It just tastes like bread, meat and veggies.(Not even a taste of soy sauce or pepper either). I also got the combination and that was a disappointment as well. It was missing everything the bbq pork sandwich was missing. I should’ve checked the reviews before coming in but again I was a poor man because I had no cash on me so beggars can’t be choosers. Apparently they use to me one of the top banh mi places… not anymore.

So crazy how my thoughts on this place changed so drastically in such a short time. It’s pathetic now. Gross. Sad. And should not be open. Bugs in food. More flavor and quality in frozen foods. Butter and pâté is still good though. Hence a star

THEYHAVECRAWFISHBANHMI! I came here particularly for that reason I wanted to try this creation. When I first ordered the guy got my order wrong. I’m not sure if I was mumbling or he didn’t pay attention to me. I know I said crawfish but he gave me catfish instead. I went back to change it and they made a new one and didn’t give me a hard time so that was cool. The crawfish was battered and well seasoned. The spicy mayo added a kick to the sandwich. I took out the jalapenos cause I bit into one with a lot of seeds. I also ordered the bbq pork sandwich which was a little dry but still flavorful. I got the grilled chicken banh mi which was okay. I like that they sell boba, phở, and rice plates as well definitely a lot of choices.

If you are looking for great solid food this place is definitely for you. It offers lots of choices on the banh mis alone. They have your usual banh mis plus some other ones I’ve never tried before. The crawfish banh mi was perfection! The cool thing about this place is that you can customize your main course. The phở and vermicelli bowls are customizable by being able to choose what«toppings» you would like. The chicken spring rolls were also very good. It seemed a bit pricey for me because I have eaten at other restaurants in the area that are far more cheaper. However still reasonable by houston standards. I was disappointed that they did not offer lemongrass pork chops but as the same suggests banh mis and phở are the specialty here.

I came in excited to this restaurant because of the pictures of their Bo Né everyone has shared online. I want to say it’s the best I have had by far! I walked in there for lunch one day, there was a small crowd near the front. It’s a pretty long walk from the front door to the counter. There are two entrances though. One door is far and the other is closer to the counter. I smelt a stench which kind of bothered me. Anyhow, I ordered the Bo Né which cost around $ 14. Not too bad in my opinion. Bo Né Houston charges $ 16 and it wasn’t delicious as B10’s. The food came out within 10 – 15 mins. I liked how it looked. The beef was shiny and looked very tasty next to the eggs which was cooked sunny side up. It was served with the usual salad, French bread, mayo, and pâté. I agree with the others; the pâté and mayo needs some work, but the beef was well worth it! The beef wasn’t under cooked nor over cooked. It was just right. The onions and pepper brought in much flavor overall. If you haven’t tried this before, its the same beef, cooked the same way as Bo Luc Lac or also known as Rock n’ Roll Beef or Shaking Beef. Put this in the bread with the mayo and pâté and you’ll be good to go! Sometimes I dip the bread onto the salad dressing they use. To summarize, it smelt good, looked good, and tastes good! Try it and you’ll definitely love it. I sure did and will return again. Service was great and they accept credit cards.

First off, I love how they take credit card here! I ordered the bo né and a chicken banh mi. The beef of the bo né is very similar to bo luc lac, and it taste a lot better than than Bo Né Houston. I do prefer the baguette, mayo, and pâté from Bo Né Houston though, but I would come back to B10 again. The biggest turn off was the banh mi. There were bones in the chicken sandwich! I would rather go to Don’s to get my banh mi fix.
