I purchased two appliances. Around 6 months after purchasing a good looking LG s/s refrigerator, it was not cooling enough. Once the appliance repair tech took off the back panel, I discovered that a port had been added to the compressor to add Freon and that the compressor coil is leaking. UNFORTUNATELY, that part has been discontinued. This should have been disclosed. A 30 day warranty does not protect the consumer. Would not spend my money there again. Fortunately, the stackable Washer/Dryer unit is still working.

I have mixed feelings about this. We have had good and NOT good experiences. We first purchased a fridge for my son’s house. They delivered it(for a fee) and set it up. After the first night, the fridge wasn’t cold, so Bill sent a technician out the next day and fixed it. It’s been working fine ever since, so we were thrilled! Then about two months ago, my husband and I went back to Bill’s and bought a fridge when ours went out. Bill and his tech delivered it and set it up(for a fee). The next day, we had water running out from under the fridge on the floor. When the tech came out, he told us the water tank(for in-door water and ice machine) was cracked. It also wasn’t keeping anything cold, so we went back down and Bill showed us others to choose from and we picked out another fridge that he recommended(which was a little bit more money). Bill delivered the 2nd one and took the first one back. The ice machine never did work on the 2nd fridge and within a week or two, we realized it also wouldn’t cool below 43 – 45 degrees. The only way we have been able to get it to stay cold enough is to keep setting it for«maximum cool», which meant we had to push the max cool button daily. Bill only offers a 30 day warranty, which expired. Rather than try a third time for a fridge that worked, we gave up and went to Sears and bought a new one. We were going to sell the fridge we bought from Bill on craigslist, but I don’t feel right selling a fridge that doesn’t make ice and only works if you keep hitting«max cool». So, we are out the initial $$ we spent at Bill’s as well as having had to spend more money on a new fridge. I think Bill is a good guy and means well, but needs to run his fridges for a while and make sure everything is working before selling them. :(He only takes cash. 30 day warranty on appliances.

New to the world of buying appliances, I was already stressed out. Realizing that full-price was out of the question and a used washer/dryer would be the way to go, that stress sky-rocketed. The crew over at Bill’s Bargain Appliances helped ease that stress. We bought a used Laundry Center and appreciated the option to pay for delivery. Bill offered a fair price and worked with us to make it happen. Initial unit was even delivered the very same day. Unfortunately, washer began to leak, but Bill was super responsive in addressing the issue and had a tech come out to see it next day. In the end, Bill ended up replacing the unit and personally delivering and setting up the new one himself. Even with the hiccup, I feel that Bill and his crew did everything he could to keep his word and assure that we were happy. I recommend you give him a shot if you’re looking to save money on a washer/dryer or kitchen appliance but not sacrifice on good service.
