Bass Computers

Unprofessional, unreasonable and dishonest. We gave them our old computer equipment that included a few servers that were in decent condition and we got an insignificant amount of money in return – nothing close to the 25 percent market value they claim. Communication is terrible and once they have your equipment they act like you’re begging them for change. A sales rep. followed up a few months after our transaction and asked if we had any more equipment to recycle, I replied with my concerns and sent him the list of equipment so that he could investigate and I never got a reply back. Stay away from Bass Computers, they’ll just add a headache to your workday.

Bass Computers has been around for several years and as time goes by they continuously find new ways to innovate and stay strong in an unsteady market. Several things I like about Bass Computers:
— Local over the counter RMA service. This is probably the most valuable service that Bass provides, saving me shipping costs and RMA frustration with various vendors. I can simply come to Bass, get my product swapped out if necessary and be on my way.
— Decent selection and local proximity. It’s nice to be able to pop in to a local distributor like Bass Computers and walk out with a pile of parts so I can go take care of my clients in an emergency break fix situation.
— Professional sales staff that’s willing to help. My sales rep Jeremy Dupree really knows what customer service is. The guy bends over backwards for me and goes out of his way to answer my questions and concerns.
— Friendly Will call and Accounting staff. I’ve never once been treated rudely, or dismissed as if my business wasn’t important. When I’m picking up my parts, I enjoy the nice lobby that Bass has created for their clients. Hard candy and fresh coffee are definitely a plus!
If the previous review had bothered to elaborate on ANY of his points I might be able to shed an opinion on them, but as for my own personal experience I can’t complain.

This place is terrible. I worked with management and they were stubborn, neglected our deadlines, and basically nit’picked every possible thing there is to complain about. Our deal has been on the table since November of last year, and STILL, they are lagging. Very very unprofessional and poor service!!! I will NEVER do business with them again.
