Not putting too much of my business out there but I go to TSU. At one point I’d have these long 2 and 3 hour breaks in between classes. Somehow it’d always seem to be around that time of the day when The Belly would begin to speak. I stopped in one day and since then I’ve been a semi-regular(it all depends on my schedule). There aren’t too many wing flavors that I haven’t tried, although I try to stay away from the hot stuff to keep the acid reflux in check. But when I do, I must say this: «The heat is on point!!» It’s hot enough to make you sweat. But the other«tame» flavored wings are full of flavor. My favorites are the ranch and the lemon pepper(which I actually use to judge the lemon pepper at other places). If you’re not in the mood for wings, try the grilled chicken sandwich on a croissant. Good eatin right there. I’ve fallen in love with the peach amaretto lemonade. I hate there aren’t any refills. But on the free tea refills, it’s worth it. I try to pop my head in there at least a couple times a month. At one point I was there every Friday during lunch playing my guitar. Kinda miss those days. The ambiance makes it that much nicer. I’m gonna stop boring you because I’m pretty sure by now you’re hungry. There’s enough for the hungry carnivore and vegetarian, alike. Stop in and enjoy yourself… ASAP.

Well for the last person who complained about the wait… we had no wait. And no, I will not tell you what day we went because the lady taking our order said we’re lucky — the line is usually out the door. Don’t worry, if you’re smart, you can figure out which day to go. The cajun bread app is damn good. wow. I was wondering what would happen if they used the cajun bread and made the cajun sausage po-boy with it… even longer lines, I think. We also got a bowl of gumbo which was oh so good. I haven’t had gumbo that good in I don’t know how long. And we had to get some wings, of course. We got a split of the Beaucoup and the cajun sauce and they did not disappoint — both the size and the flavor were impressive. We ended up taking all of them home because we couldn’t eat all that food. My mouth is watering just thinking about tomorrow’s leftover lunch!

I called in an order last night and service was prompt, considering it took me about 30 minutes to get there, as I was on the opposite side of town. I ordered the crawfish bread, grilled shrimp basket, and fried catfish basket. Food was plentiful. The baskets came with seasoned fries, a salad and two pieces of clean tasting, not greasy cornbreaded catfish(for the catfish basket) and 6 pieces of succulent grilled jumbo shrimp(for the shrimp basket). I must say, the shrimp basket was my favorite. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and grilled and was just heaven. Just writing the review about them is making me drool. I will order the grilled catfish basket and fried shrimp(if I can. I LOVE that grilled shrimp) next time. I will also try their bread pudding and homemade lemonades. The restaurant had a nice vibe and some cool t-shirts for sale. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. I will definitely be returning. Merci! Beaucoup Wings n Wings!

I’d heard great things and really wanted to like this place. The food, when I eventually got it, was pretty good. But the incredible slowness knocks the experience down a peg.(4 stars for the food, but 1 star for the pace: my 3-star rating is more like two-and-a-half.) Order at the counter, take a seat, and wait for the food to be delivered to your table. And wait. And wait. And… oh, you get the idea. At least there are TVs to watch. All I ordered was a couple of apps, crawfish bread(which was damn good; worth a trip just for this if you have time) and gumbo($ 5.99 each). I waited about 30 minutes(not exaggerating) before they brought out my crawfish bread. Without the gumbo. About 20 minutes later, they told me they were all out of gumbo, so I asked for some red beans and rice instead. And waited another 20 minutes for that to show up. Doing the math: I was there for an hour and ten minutes before all my food showed up. The bowl of red beans and rice was fine, but by that time I was more annoyed than hungry, so I didn’t fully enjoy it. They also have bottles of various flavors of homemade lemonade for $ 2.50 — strawberry lemonade, blueberry lemonade, and some others. These are pretty tasty. Next time, I’ll bring a book. A really long book, like«War and Peace» or «Don Quixote.»
