Great burger spot, and they also have terrific salads. I recommend the Kirby Salad with Beck’s balsamic on the side. Everything has 30grams or more of fat(including salads), that’s why Beck’s is a sometimes food. I’ll be a diabetic by the time I’m 35 of i ate here everyday. Good and drink $ 10-$ 17/per person. Having that said, the food tastes great.

As a burger place, I’d give it 5 stars, BUT they suck so bad on their salads I just can’t get over a certain level of disgust. Especially the crushed shredded iceberg and old watery tomatoes that the serve with everything as if it is a bonus. YUCK, the salad visually suggests that this restaurant has no sense of quality. No, I’ve never eaten it as the quality is so obviously sub par. I’ve asked them to hold that old, nasty stuff but they always add it as if they are doing you a favor … when I see it, it makes me think they are clueless about quality and I question the burgers as well. It’s fine to be a burger place, and skip the salads, but it’s better to not even offer salad if you can’t do it right.

$ 16 for burger fries and coke! Nothing special about this burger and I would say it was mediocre at best. I haven’t visited in 15 years since I just moved back to Houston and would say it was definitely overpriced.

I always get the ahi tuna sandwich, some other burger for my mom, 1lb of sweet poptato fries and 1lb of fresh cut fries, everything tastes amazing, always, oh don’t forget the ranch! The people there are always nice, never have had a bad experience.

Loooooove this Becks Prime! I usually get their ribeye steak sandwich with avocado and grilled onions… a side of sweet potato fries too! The steak is always cooked perfectly and the staff is always friendly.

My first review on Unilocal.Yep it was that bad! I ordered a chicken sandwich/burger the chicken was flavorful but the bun was soggy. So soggy that I had to remove the bun and just eat the meat. I also ordered sweet potato fries I can’t remember what they taste like… These two items cost me $ 15.

Yummmmm. Knowing that I didn’t want to take home any leftovers, I ordered a cheeseburger off the children’s menu. It. Was. Delicious. And just the right size. I ate some of my boyfriend’s fries and they were perfect. Not too thick and not to thin, they were exquisitely fried and just the right amount of crispy. I shared a malt with my boyfriend that has had me thinking about malts ever since. My boyfriend’s mom got the most delicious peach shake I have ever tried. Just thinking about it now causes me to lament the fact that it’s almost 1 in the morning and I can’t go get one right now. Woe is me. Maybe tomorrow? Peach shake AND chocolate malt? Too much? Nope. It’s happening.

Had yet another spectacular experience with a becks prime location. I am an ovo lacto vegetarian. I don’t eat meat but every couple of months I will get an INSANE and frantic craving for steak(usually because I’m iron deficient/anemic…lifelong issue, not because of my plant based diet) Tonight was one of those nights. At 9:55, 5 minutes before they closed, I called becks prime at wilcrest hoping they would have mercy on me and let me order something in time. They did! Not only that, assistant manager Cory also offered some fantastic suggestions on what I should try on my next bi/Tri-monthly carnivore meal. The staff couldn’t have been more delightful and accommodating to my very specific and very particular craving: a tenderloin sandwich, medium well with nothing on it but ketchup. It was everything I knew it would be and I’m a sated, happy woman going back to her plant based diet tomorrow having had a DELICIOUS and satisfying trek into meat eater land this evening. :) thanks Cory & crew!

Really good quality burger. I had a little sticker shock when my burger was $ 10.50, but the size and quality made it worth it. This is no «dollar menu cheeseburger». Thick patty, quality beef, and very juicy. I didn’t try the frys so I can’t comment on those but they looked good. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Houston!

The bacon cheeseburger was delicious, and the service was even better! Very friendly cashier and manager. Will definitely go back. Be prepared to spend a little cash. But it is worth it.

Am a fan of Beck’s but this location needs the owner’s attention. The kid’s burger had been cooked medium not well done. Tables not cleaned off well and gnats flying in our food. Only 1 other table so staff could have time to clean. Beautiful trees and good locale.

I requested my tuna to be cooked medium rare and received it well-done(or in my opinion, it was well-done). See attached picture. This has happened twice now. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won’t be going back.

Best burgers in town. Cooked the way you like. And without unnecessary condiments. Why paint the peacock?

Okay yes, I’m an idiot and ordered the Pork Banh Mi at a burger place. It wasn’t bad! Shut up! The fries were really the star, they are obviously from fresh potatoes and cut and fried on the spot, reminded me a bit of Five Guys. My colleague’s burger was from good ingredients but put together a bit haphazardly. The above is not a bad review for a fast food place, but one issue with this business is that they charge significantly more per meal than you’d pay at any other joint in the area, and for Pork Banh Mi it’s a $ 6 – 7 difference between here and Phở One down the street, and guess whose is better? Beck’s isn’t bad, it’s just overpriced for what you get.

Great food, great service for an easy to-go option. I love that they have a drive-thru at this location. You can’t go wrong with ‘almost’ anything you get from salads, burgers, baked potato, etc. It’s all amazing for easy to-go options which I’m always looking for. My only complaint is the fries. Very soggy & greasy. But I love this place. Burgers are worth the price in my opinion!

I have to say I like the Augusta location a bit better than this Wilcrest one, although I’ve visited this one about 20 times more than the Augusta location. Augusta location is just located in a slightly better area. They have revamped the menu since I last visited Beck’s and they gear your eyes towards ordering combo meals now, like the main fast food places have gone to. The menu is no longer presented in an «a la carte» format. Guess that brings more money in on a daily basis. I still order my mainstays though. This recent visit I ordered Bill’s burger which is a pretty good deal, if there even is one at this price point. It comes with similar toppings as their bacon cheeseburger, but with fresh jalapenos and grilled onions added, but for same price as the BC burger. Overall, price is a concern here for most people that don’t care to spend top dollar for a good burger, unlike me. FYI, all burgers now come with fries, but if you just want the burger and no fries, just tell them and they lower the price back to what you are used to paying, around $ 8 per burger.

Takes forever for a low quality burger. The fries were soggy and salty and the burger was flavorless. I have been twice and have been disappointed both times greatly I definitely recommend any other burger place for better quality at a lower price.

First off, I take ownership if my mistake. I ordered the Chili cheese dog. It came on a hamburger bun with no warning. For $ 11.00 I can’t believe it. I agree with everyone else, overpriced for what it was. It was decent, but that’s a ball park price! I also got chili cheese fries. Tasty, but as someone noted the fries appeared soaked in grease, not fries in it. I’m disappointed. I will try a burger(on a half off coupon) and will re-review.

I’ve been coming to Beck’s Prime for years. They always serve me up a delicious, JUICY burger. I think their secret lies in the fresh, grounded burger meat. Whether you choose a regular cheeseburger or a Bill’s burger, you will be completely satisfied with their burger patty either way. I’d recommend having it cooked their way which is medium rare. I made the mistake of cooking it all the way and it jut wasn’t the same. If you want fries, it’s an extra ~$ 3, but it’s worth the extra bucks. Their fries are in-house cut Idaho potato fries. Similar to 5 guys, if not better. They also have sweet potato fries, too! If fries aren’t your thing they also serve a grilled veggies side dish which is loaded with garlic and other seasonings. I haven’t had the tuna or other dishes(more of a burger girl), but my friends tell me they all taste good so I will have to give it a try the next time I stop in. Grabbing a meal here is a bit price-y($ 15 for burger, fries, and drink), but the quality and service is SO worth the cost. You really can’t go wrong with a Beck’s burger. :)
