Risotto special they had was great, especially for the money. Our server William was outstanding, and talked us into a great spicy shrimp appetizer. Go there

Awesome Happy Hour! Good drinks, good food! I recommend the Brio Burger, Italian Lemonade, Tuscan Tots, and Black Pepper shrimp. Their home made chips & dip are great too!

As you enter the place, the aroma will greet you and will make you hungry(more if you already are). The ambiance is perfect. Can be for business meetings or birthday celebrations as they do have private dining room, can be for a romantic date and also even a simple dining experience. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They don’t bother you much but they are efficient in doing the rounds in case you need another drink or so. The campanelle carbonara was really good. You really cant go wrong with bacon on your carbonara. The grilled salmon fresca is a little dry. But i enjoyed the flavourful dressing with grilled asparagus and roasted sweet potatoes. Overall experience is good!

Went on a Saturday night. Wait time was not long at all, made reservations for 2. Not too crowded for a Saturday evening. Décor is nice, the environment is pretty cool. Service was really good. The food was great, ordered shrimp and lobster fettuccine, very flavorful. Wish there was a few more shrimp in the pasta lol

Ended up here after being rained out of an outdoor event and couldn’t be happier with our decision! I’ve been to Brio a few times and felt pretty indifferent, but this time we had the perfect combination of great food, great service, and great company! We started with the beef carpaccio and lobster bisque, both delicious. Then my husband inhaled his salmon fresco, I believe it’s called, and I went all in on the sliced beef bruschetta. I saved a couple slices to make room for the chocolate lava cake with ice cream which was the perfect amount of rich warm decadence for a cool night out on the patio. Hats off to our waiter, William! My husband is trying to stay fit in the new year, but I’m a little more flexible, and Will gave spot on recommendations. He was so pleasant, even our 9 month old who is going through a little stranger anxiety gave him smiles and claps all the way through our meal. If he was able she may have even let him pick her up! My husband ended up giving him his card and we will most definitely be asking for him again! Overall great night out!

Love this place! Just hosted av event in one of the private rooms and BRIO was so so so accommodating throughout the whole process. Service was impeccable and that even on a Sunday(busiest day all week). The whole process from initial email, visit, follow-up, and any special requests, esp day of event were all taken care of in a wonderful way. We really enjoyed ourselves and were grateful about how seamless everything was. I can’t say enough great things about how nice it was, how great the service was, and how much everyone enjoyed the food! We will surely be hosting future events there and will be recommending BRIO City Center to others.

I went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and this place blew me away. I also found it on Unilocal and we got the daily soup along with the pasta pesto and the pasta Brio. The waitress kept pestering about taking our soups up but all in all this place is perfect for date nights!

We ordered the chicken milanese pomodoro with white sauce and the shrimp/lobster fettuccini pasta. They were pretty good, nothing too spectacular. It just took a good 30 minutes to come out. Prices are slightly expensive since it’s in city centre. Seems like a fancier version of cheesecake factory/olive garden: P overall, it seemed nice.

This restaurant is outstanding. Went there for my Birthday in Friday and there were several others. William, our sever, and was awesome and attentive to detail. He even is a part circus act as he tripped on my crutches with a full bottle of wine and a glass, didn’t drop or break anything. Truly sorry I caused that trip. The ambiance was loud, but like a big family. Food was hot and fresh. If you like a good night, attentive servers, and great food why not try it out. You won’t be disappointed!

Food would have easily gotten another star from me. Spinach and artichoke dip was delicious(even if there wasn’t enough pita chips), I asked for the single pork chop(which was a little pinker than I’d have liked but considering the length of the wait to get it, I wasn’t sending it back). And the caramel mascarpone cheesecake was to die for. Service was slow. They didn’t tell us until well after we started arriving that we needed ½ our party to sit. So they gave our table away, didn’t tell us and we had to wait longer. Drinks took forever, refills took longer and we were there for HOURS. Painfully slow. Also? Order a water with your strawberry lemonade cause it’s soooooo strong and needs watered down!

First time @ Brio– 8th wedding anniversary and I have to say… The food was excellent and so was the service. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because some of my papadelle pasta was stuck together. Other than that the flavor was spot on. We had Calamari, Caesar salad, house salad to start. Entrees– Lamb chops and braised beef papadelle pasta. Dessert– trio– cheesecake, bread pudding and crème brûlée. The braised beef was the star of the show– melt in your mouth tender!!! The cheesecake was really good, the bread pudding is only seasonal but well worth it, and the crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve had. Karina was our waitress and she was awesome!!!

Here is the thing, I’m not usually a chain kinda gal when it comes to spending good money on dinner. But Brio has got to be everyone’s exception to supporting local restaurants. I just have never ever ever had a bad meal here. I came here the other night at 8 o’clock on a Thursday. It was not very crowded which didn’t surprise me as it was already pretty late in the evening. The neat part was at this location they have really nice covered seating areas outside that almost make you feel like you have your own private balcony and a server to bring you your drinks or appetizer or even your meal. I wasn’t going to eat outside cause I was kind of chilly and didn’t prepare for that, but I would definitely try that again sometime. The food here just is out of this world. I eat Italian maybe, maybe 2 – 3 times a year just cause of gluten mostly. But this place makes me feel like the stomach ache at the end of it is worth it. I got there chicken and sweet potato risotto, WOW, WOW!!! So yummy, just so so good. I’ve also had their lemon chicken before as well, it’s lightly crusted and makes for a very light meal but is packed with flavor. I seriously could just, I don’t even know people. There brunch here is great as well on the weekends, there Peach Bellini’s are where it’s at for day or night drinking. The service was great, everyone is super friendly and really helpful with the menu. I’m a fan!

Came here for a girls’ night and service was great. Had a glass of prosecco, the beef pappardelle, and a Caesar salad– total was close to $ 40. The beef pappardelle was a generous portion. The noodles were very tasty, but they could have included more beef for the price. The carrots were a little dry. Overall, a solid meal.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Came here for happy hour with the fiancée and it exceeded our expectations. The bar menu for food and drinks are top notch. We ordered the brio burger, flatbread and Tuscan tots. All of them very delicious! I highly recommend coming here.

Bar Review: Great service. Eddie and Josh were very friendly and helpful. Beef Carpaccio: 4 of 5: Cheap for $ 5. Tender meat with a little dressing, capers, and some salad and a slice of italian herb flat bread Mojito: 5 of 5: Sweeter than anything I’ve ever tried. Very refreshing.

(THEYDOHAVEGLUTENFREEPASTAANDSEPARATEGLUTENFREEMENU) Location: Located in the bustling, always busy city centre. Currently there is construction going around it so there are big divider/curtain things up but it is at a corner… not too hard to miss. If you valet your vehicle in the parking deck behind it and get your valet card stamped at the front desk of Brio — otherwise if you valet and go to other places, I believe it is 8 bucks. Décor: beatiful, elegant, white curtains draped from the ceiling, yellow lighting, lotssss of space, a separate area with a bar. remind me of the cheesecake factory décor. Neat, clean. Food: great sized menu, lots of options. you can also ask for a separate gluten free menu and the server will bring it to you. I had the pasta brio and then the lambchops a separate time — — AMAZING! My friends loved their food and experience as well. As far as desert, they bring out a tray to describe and show you but they taste just the way they look. I am sorry but deserts were horrendous for a place like this. Wouldn’t get desert from there at all. I recommend getting your meal here and then walk around city centre or nearby mall and shopping centers for muchhhhh better deserts. Service: Servers were pretty quick and efficient but could work a little more on their warmth and friendliness(in fact all of the staff could)…it felt like they were bothered they had guests every time I went. I had different servers each time and a few times, the place was practically empty and still the same kind of «brush off attitude»…it was weird for a place like this. Even the front desk staff was the same. In fact, now that I think abut it… they never smiled… like none of them ever smiled or answered in an interested manner… oooh EXCEPT for once… because the server made a booboo so he apologized and smiled to save himself. Pricing is reasonable. Perffect for the experience and food. If it was more than this, then I would say they are way overpriced. It is just right. Great for groups/celebrations/dates…noise level depends on the crowd, if its busy or not.

Cheap happy hour with some full filling food! But the happy hour drinks were overly sweet. Got the peach sangria and it was full of pulp(idk from where) and syrup. The burger and the shrimp were good off the happy hour menu and could feed anyone. Service was bad and odd. The guy who was our server stopped by once to get my drink order and then after to collect dirty plates and give us our checks. All the food and drinks were delivered by different people. Nevertheless the cheap food i guess comes with cheap service. I’d go there again.

I went there for dinner last for my first time. After being seated and looking at the menu seeing several entrees of interest I ordered the lasagna along with a chopped salad. My drink then arrived along with a bread basket. During my wait, I noticed that this is a nice restaurant on the inside that consists of one primary and large dining room. There is also a nice sized bar and outdoor seating available. The restaurant was mainly full and therefore loud. The salad then arrived with its red vinaigrette dressing and it was good. Just the right size and not too small. The lasagna arrived about 15 minutes after ordering. It was a nice sized serving and very good. The cheeses used were palate pleasing. I really enjoyed it. It was one of the better lasagna’s that I have had in Houston. The bread too was good. When you leave here you will be full. My service was good. I think of this place as like an upscale Olive Garden and that is meant as a compliment! I will return here because of other items on the menu that I want to try including their Gerber raised chicken dinner. My experience warranted a 4 rating. I will update this post after my next visit. Also free parking in the garage behind the restaurant.

I wanted to have dinner here, but my friend and I arrived pretty close to closing(they close at 9 on Sundays). I didn’t want to be that person that walks in 20 minutes before closing to order a full meal. We decided to have a drink at the bar. The bartender was really friendly and explained some of the cocktails. I ordered a drink that had cucumber in it(I can’t remember the name). It’s a vodka based drink and the menu lists Grey Goose as the vodka. The bartender asked me if I wanted a different vodka(I chose Tito’s instead). The drink was really good and had a nice kick to it! The bartender gave us menus even though we didn’t intend to have dinner, so I thought that was really professional since he was willing to let us place dinner orders right before close. He did bring out bread(which was nice and hot) and it helped calm down the hunger pangs. I want to come back here and have dinner because the menu items looked really good.
