With Chiptole drama, I figured I’d give this place a try. Welp… bad mistake! I honestly can’t believe this place is still in business. This must be a Shark Tank idea gone bad

We walked over for breakfast this morning to get breakfast tacos. My husband had two of the those, which were okay. I had the breakfast quesadilla — it was okay also. The salsa is a bit weak, but we had a good time.

Walked over to buy me some tacos, got back to work, got me a drink, open up my tacos and the tortilla was raw. Dang it. Had to walk back over there, asked for the Mgr and told him it was raw and all he has to say is Raw? Like he doesn’t know what that word means. Smh. Showed him the tortilla. Does he apologize… NO. Maybe he doesn’t want my bzn.

I’m a little confused here. I was so excited to write this review and tell everyone to go here. When I saw the ratings it has been getting, I couldn’t understand why. My boyfriend and I went here at 3pm for some late lunch tacos. My favorite place to eat is Qdoba, and to my sadness, there is not a Qdoba in Houston. In my opinion, Bullritos surpasses Qdoba– I absolutely love this place. You order what you want on the front of your bag, which makes it hard for them to mess up. We ordered two pulled pork tacos and a margarita($ 2.99 and strong!!). They brought out our tacos and they were SO good. Also, queso is FREE! Great plus there. We ate them so fast we had to go order two more! Also, the business owner was sitting at a table working on his computer and came over to our table and asked how our food was and talked to us for a bit. He was super friendly and appreciative of our business. It’s little things like this that make you want to go back, let alone the outstanding tacos. He assured us that we would love the burritos and bowls as well! We will definitely be back here, and SOON! 5 stars.

This location is great, they always get it right, they’re friendly, clean and fun, they actually stop by to see if you’re still happy with the meal. The food is fast, clean, fresh and always accurate. During the day the owner is often there, asking if everything is right, and even when he’s not the staff is friendly and happy. This is my favorite and only fast food place. I work next door and eat here 3 or 4 times a week, so I see them on a regular basis.

Admittedly, I’m in the Chipotle camp. That being said, I specifically wrote this review because as I sit and eat this mediocre burrito bowl with wet lettuce, there is a high pitch sound screeching throughout the building. Why? It’s the salsa blender. It sounds like a dentist office in here. I can’t emphasize how annoying and unpleasant it is to having images of molar extraction pop up while trying to eat this rubbery meat. I will never come back.

Better than expected. Food was great. Price was reasonable(less than $ 8 for a burrito). Giving it a 4 because it was so hot inside we couldn’t stay to eat. The soft serve is good because it’s free but it isn’t anything special.

I am officially converted from Chipotle! The quality and flavor at Bullritos is amazing. I also like the fact that there is selection beyond just burritos and tacos. What really makes the difference though, is the people at this location. Today one of the guys, I believe he’s the owner, acted as a server instead of just calling out our names. He came back by to check on us and when my sister said her rice was a little dry, he brought extra queso for her. All in all a great experience!

I have tried Bullritos several times now and each time I regret not going to Chipolte instead. Today I went in and ordered a Chicken Fajita bowl. The bowl was half full so I’m guessing margins must be tight at Bullritos. Somehow they forgot the sauce that I checked off on the bag. Rice was nothing great and hardly there. They are pretty stingy with the chicken and steak here. Service there is also really slow. I went there today around 1:30 and compared to Chipolte it took awhile I think I have learned my lesson and don’t plan on going back to Bullritos.

Bullritos makes many mistakes but they try to compensate for them by having free soft serve. I have been multiple times for to go and they have messed up my orders. I don’t know how you mess up an order when it is written on the bag. It is unacceptable. They will forget my queso or all of my burrito ingredients.

Place has so much potential. The employees half-ass everything. They don’t know how to properly wrap the burritos or the wrapper for them. Sometimes the rice is undercooked.

I don’t write many reviews or have high expectations. I’ll keep it simple. — gave me the wrong sauce that was obviously marked on the bag — filled the container only halfway — lots of beans, not enough rice(bad ratio) That’s pretty much it. It wasn’t even busy so not sure what went wrong. Pretty disappointed. Probably won’t come again. Rather go to Chipotle across the street(it was closed today).

Good eat, bad layout. proportions where grand. tons of chicken. could have used better corn tortillas, since two where ripped. Love the free ice cream.

Good food. But it seems like I get a different serving size every time. I order the bowl. The food is really tasty. On the expensive side, especially when it seem my bowl was ¼ filled. $ 7.

Today my coworker ordered to go from this location as she has done weekly, after eating her food and then finishing her drink. She took the lid off to eat the ice, she found a rather large roach at the bottom of her cup. She called Bullritos and they promptly offered her the money she paid for her meal back… i personally like Chipotle better, but wanted to write this just so others can be aware

As I predicted earlier, they’ve begun the closing process on some, or all of their stores. The company that owns Bullrito’s obviously didn’t learn their lesson. Last time, they tried to open a high-end restaurant that had lots of issues, and steadfastly refused to listen to their customers … it failed badly. Now they’re trying the«burrito in a bowl» concept. They’ve refused to listen to their customer base and they’re not coming back for bland, skimpy and unattractive slop doled out with a measuring spoon to be certain you don’t get even a single gram of some of the cheapest foodstuffs on the planet more than Bullrito’s HQ has allotted. I have never met anyone who was a repeat customer … No exaggeration: everyone I’ve spoken to that has actually been to a Bullrito’s, has the identical problems with them and refuses to return. I’ve literally had better experiences with frozen TV dinners, so save your time and money … there are just too many other places who actually like their customers, and do what they can to keep them happy. This, ain’t one of them …

For what ever reason, I seem to end up here more often than any other Bullritos location. The chain as a whole is decent, and much better than anything I have had from Freebirds(outside the College Station location). Anyway, get in line, grab a bag and pen, and mark what you want. If you are familiar with Wich Wich, you know the drill. The pulled pork is decent, and you can obviously dress it up with as much fattening extras as you want. I learned the hard way, that less is often more. You will feel like crap for the rest of the day otherwise. Really nothing distinguishes this place from Mission Burrito. Both are fairly good with fresh ingredients. The service, lines, and wait times are all much better here than Freebirds.

This place is very different from Chipotle and Mission Burrito, but alas people keep comparing them. I come here when I want to grab a burrito with cilantro ranch sauce and a(pretty good) margarita. The menu is different. You’ve got to try it a couple times to mix and match the offerings, but that’s okay. Because once I did, I was absolutely satisfied.

No. Just no. Nothing about this experience was good. I got there to pick up early supper. With only two other people in there eating it should not have taken that long. The ordering system is cute — but I don’t like cute. You get a paper bag and check off boxes for what you want. You can’t see what any of the items look like while you order, so this is kind of a faith based process. There is also quite a bit of trust required financially because there are no prices listed. anywhere. Some check boxes say«extra charge», but avocado wasn’t one of them, so I got it. Well, needless to say, it was an extra charge after everything was said and done with and I reviewed my receipt while waiting for the food. It took some time to get my burrito and chips. The chips were super stale, the burrito not good. I was sad and annoyed by how much it cost.

After hearing about this place from a few friends I figured it was time to tame the bull. I really have no idea what means in relation to commenting on eating a burrito but just go with it. Get a bag, mark the bag, pay for bag, burrito appears in bag. This is generally how it works. I went in and my party ordered 2 chicken burritos. After paying and waiting for about 5 minutes slipping on my soda a worker came over and said they currently were out of chicken and was in the process of making more. She asked if we wanted to switch or wait until the chicken was ready. instead of waiting I decided to switch to the pulled pork burrito. A few minutes later the burrito was already halfway done and dripping out of my mouth. It was good. I normally don’t get pork burritos but this one was pretty good. Price and size of burrito was a good average of all the other burrito shops around. The best part was when the burritos were delivered to us they gave us two free burrito cards because of the mishap with the chicken. I will be going back indeed! Currently I rank is under Tacos a go go. This place is better tasting to me than Chipotle.
