If you haven’t been here, you don’t miss anything. Awful BBH. Sorry about this but any BBH from any other«Phở» restaurant in town should be better. I don’t know what the owner think about his/her BBH but they should not have a fancy sign specializing only BBH while their BBH is the worst disk from their menu. A quick summary: Bad quality, expensive price($ 7.99 for a small bowl with little meat), unhealthy(very greasy soup).

The Bun Bo Hue at Duc Chuong is mediocre enough already. The Bun Bo Hue at this place cannot compare to Duc Chuong. The taste is just off. One good thing is that their bowl is actually huge. $ 8.75 will fill you up. So if you think you are ok with just being full then this is your place.

Holy macaroni did this Big bowl of bbh satisfy. Twas a cold, gloomy, rainy morning and my tummy cried for a hearty bowl of hot soup. Seeing the grand opening sign was alluring enough. Always a delight to see new restaurants opening up. Im not joking; It was the best decision i made that entire week. The regular bowl at $ 7.50 was served beautifully in a large and deep ceramic bowl. They fulfilled my request for thit nac khong(lean meat only). Generous amounts of bun, equal amounts of meat, and tasty broth was filled to the rim. Spice level was ideal n how it should be. This bbh was sooo flavorful, twas amazing. Yes, it was slightly alittle greasy but i think that’s from the chili oil. Easily my new favorite bbh joint. I hope eveyone loves it just as much as i did.

The Bun Bo Hue broth is not as rich as it should be, however, I do enjoy the spiciness of it.

Their BBH is not as flavorful has BBHDUCCHUONGACROSSTHESTREET. I recommend them and service is better over there as well. The broth here is a bit more traditional but has a funny smell though. It is ok but not great. I came here three times in a week. First times I got rice and pork chop, decent, second time i got rice and chicken(dry and overdone) I can only recommend pork chop. It’s a simple dish can make at home as well nothing special but is decent. Also egg rolls have no veggies nothing like the picture in window sweet n sour type dipping sauce(wtf, you are on Bellaire, give me some real dipping sauce not out of a jar) — pass please My fourth time I had no cash so I used my credit card. Credit card are $ 10.00 or more, nothing less. My large bowl of BBH came to $ 9.69 and they said minimum $ 10.00. She gave me this look like she couldn’t take it. I should have walked out and left it there instead. I told her to charge $ 10 and walked out. People, it’s not about being cheap it’s about the principle. That is just me. So let’s recap, I spent $ 27(1st time), 38.90(2nd time), $ 19.38(3rd time) and $ 10.00(4th time) in two weeks here at BBH Tay Do. To sum it up — I EATOUTTOOMUCH!!! Hmmm interesting how some restaurants try hard to get customer and advertise their business by putting their business card attached to the Togo bag, and help grow their biz and because of .31 they lost a returning customer. It’s a learning curve I guess, ignorance. It’s actually a 1−½ star, place is clean roomy and pork chop is decent. Minus for super dark dry chicken, overdone egg rolls, par Bbh, n sorry ass owners but I rounded down instead of up. Tam Biet Tay Do
